1) They want to become the number 1 blader for fame.

Honey. No. I highly doubt the bladers want to become number 1 for the fame and glory. More like they want to see where they stand among everyone who does the sport,so typically most want to be the best at a certain thing they are doing. Being famous was just an additional thing which was given to them.

A good example could be Free. When he was champion before Valt,he barely cared about the fame,he only wanted to prove them he was the best which was why he trained extremely hard during the International Blader's Cup.

When he was at the zoo,no one barely took any notice of him even though he was supposedly the most famous since his number one. Yet everyone recognised Joshua in that same episode despite being third in the world rankings.

So what does that tell you? They don't battle for fame. So don't give me this bad reason to cover up the fact that your OC is a mary sue.

Because I seen people who go. "oH shE doEsN'T waNt tO bAttLe aNd bEcOmE nUmBer oNe eVeN iF ShE cAn bEcAuSe shE dOesN'T waNT thE faMe-"

I rest my case.

2)You can win with minimal effort.

Mary Sue alert. Name me one character in the show who is extremely overpowered with no training whatsoever. Don't start typing Aiger because he had a bad losing streak during the battleship cruise and you can't tell me otherwise.

I seen ocs who win by launching their beys and having crazy abilities which put the canon characters to shame. Like,a cage appearing on the stage,water gets summoned,the opponent's bey can't move-

*sigh* Please no.

Beyblade isn't about the ridiculously overpowered beys. They are also about strategy work,anOtHer eXampLe is Free-

Free and Drain Fafnir. They change their starting momentum based on the bey their up against. Thanks to rubber,and starting slow,it can actually drain more of its opponent's spin power as well as make use of the slow motion burst. Now that's strategy.
