UPDATE (6/5/2024) - The judge for the main category I was competing in appeared to have gone AWOL, and it seemed likely that if that category would get judged at all, it would be by the contest host. I shut the door on the contest and the host and forfeited my place. I won't burden anybody with the details. They don't belong in a book of contests.
