I'm going to talk about my situation involving WEBTOON for a hot sec with y'all. A year ago my friend asked me to join them in a WEBTOON project to get it started with them and make a short little series that would probably only be a season or two long. It would have been titled Sharu Valley, and was a mystery supernatural thriller type webcomic set in the 1984. Here's some promo art I made for it:

It was going to feature the main trio, Remi, Demone, and Wade, a human, demon and a ghost who got tied together by magical means so that they were stuck being around one another. For Remi it's a curse, for Demone it's a blessing, and for Wade it means he can't be alone. It was a weird interesting little dynamic. There was also a side protagonist, Leslie, who hunts supernatural beings despite being only 15.

Sharu Valley is an American small town in the middle of nowhere with a small population of people lumped in a valley surrounded by mountains and open plains. Supernatural monsters thrive there. Remi's family went missing so she had to move back to her old hometown, as she's now a detective and is determined to find them.

So the whole premise was a mystery as to what happened with Remi's family, and the trio were the main characters along with Leslie who both helps them but causes them problems as Remi can't let her know of the existence of Demone and Wade.

Its supposed to be in my friend's art style as he can't copy my own and I can easily mimic his. So it was going to be easier that way. I wrote a total of 27 episodes, each being INCREDIBLY long for an average WEBTOON episode length. Each episode was like a short story that tied into one bigger story so that bimonthly updates would be manageable for readers and not boring.

But.

My friend is unreliable. I've talked about this a lot on my message board because it's been frustrating me. I hate that I promised y'all a WEBTOON by June (2022) and then it didn't happen. It's July and we've got one episode done and that's episode two because that's the one that I had to draw. Episode one isn't even close to being finished because my friend won't even start. They've had since MARCH to start on it. March was when we deemed the script ready. March was when the art SWAE supposed to happen.

Now I could just do it by myself but what's the point of doing it in someone else's art style then? That's just harder for me and I'm making this as easy as possible for my friend.

It's really frustrating and I'm not going to explain the whole situation again cause I am fed up. I'm sick and tired of it. I wanted to make this WEBTOON so bad because I love it. I love what we created for it and all the ideas and care that went into writing it. But who knows what'll happen at this point?

Do y'all want a WEBTOON from me? I want to make my own and if this one's just not happening then I guess it won't be in the way of me going solo.

If you want me to would you be interested in seeing Land of Armonia (the book from my other profile @ArtCatastrophe )to be made into the form of a comic? Or do you want to see my other stories (that have yet to be written and published anywhere). I've got an action fantasy superhero type one, a horror/thriller story, and a space sci-fi comedy type deal.

-Lunch Wall Heroes: Set in a modern day world where a small percent of the human race posses superhuman mutant abilities. These people are known as novums. The novums are treated as lesser people, given unequal rights and justice. People of different religions backgrounds consider them creations of Satan, bestowed upon the earth to overthrow god. But they're not anything like that. So, to fight for a world turned against them, Iisan, Corvan, Lauren, Bradley, Emma, and Terrance must work together to create a better, more safer world, with the help of their normal friend Jason.

-The Black X: After being banned from his old corporation, Halo, Dr Crane decides to found his own scientific work as a soloist. Finding lost, hurt souls, Dr Crane finds ways of changing and enhancing human bodies and possessing them to his will. His insanity is overthrown by the lost cause of Mary Marsol who has a craving for blood. Now, with a deformed and inhuman body, Azon has to fight for his life to ensure that Mary and the creations of the Black X don't escape into society and start a mass genocide.

-Land of Armonia: with a prophecy of war coming upon the land, Amante takes it upon himself to form an alliance of people from across Armonia to protect the land from the likes of his own people. (Read more here on wattpad @ArtCatastrophe )

-Space story (untitled) (also doesn't have much art, just concepts) (it's a baby): after Rylie crash lands on earth with intense amnesia, Jane feels she must help him remember who he is and where he came from before the Manta Empire takes over the galaxy. Through an adventure in space, they meet Axton, Dagger, Beabley, and Tezuka, forming a band of alien fighters in hopes of protecting the universe from the dreaded Manta army.
