Abilities: These dragons have the ability to change the color of certain scales on their bodies into practically any color they want, be it for stealth, attracting a mate, hiding, showing emotion, or warning. These color changing scales can actually be used to hypnotize enemies, allowing them a safe getaway. They have a healing breath that often tends to look like small bubbles, but these healing properties can quickly change into an acid when threatened. They have prehansile tails which can hold things or grip onto branches, which helps them in the forest. They are also quite skilled at making healing tonics and poultices from the plants around them.

Looks: Most of these dragons stay quite small in terms of dragons to move through their habitat easily. They have soft, paw like talons to muffle their movements, their talons curved to help them climb trees. They have color changing scales all along their bodies and wings that they often use for camouflage. Their horn tips are different colors depending on what season they were hatched in, white being winter, orange being fall, no color being spring, and dark blue being in the summer. They have strong wings and are quite adept at flight above the forest treetops, which they also use as extra limbs to pull themselves up into hiding places in trees. Most female dragons have more organic shaped glowing spots while the males have geometric patterns, otherwise they're exactly alike.

Habitat: These Ostara dragons live in all sorts of forests, from tropical to deciduous, and coniferous forests. The one above is from a deciduous forest.

Diet: Plants of all sorts, insects (fireflies being their favorite) and occasionally small fish or birds.
