I like how some people hated the fact that Gou caught all three starters of Galar with Ash having none even though it could be the creators just trying something new plus we are still getting a representation of the starters. No one attacked Clemont and Serena for having Fennekin and Chespin. Heck, even anyone during ash's journey that had a starter Pokemon in their party while ash didn't have that exact starter in his party they didn't get attacked for it. So why attack Gou for when we now see Grookey in the series? We are seeing em on the anime and now have a representation of Grookey, so what's the problem?

P.S. Grookey is so adorable that to me it rivals pikachu's cuteness
