review: well.... this is complicated...
first of all, I really liked the writing style - as usualy kerri is just a genius. The story was also pretty cool and I liked Emilias character development - sort of. But then there's Wrath... And I honestly don't know what to say about him. Like, what's your problem, dude? On the one side he's hot and mighty and can be kinda fun to be around, but on the other side, he's just a little lying ashole.
He spent two whole books keeping secrets from his fiancée / wife / it's complicated. And he keeps on not telling her anything. Like, litterally anything. He wouldn't even tell her what they'll have for dinner if she asked. Instead he would just run away, like he does every time, they have a serious conversation. THAT IS NOT A GOOD RELATIONSHIP STARTER! And if he does tell her something for once it's a half truth and then half a book later he's like 'well, at least I didn't lie to you' but you fvcking tried! This guy is just the worst. Emilia on the other side is not that much better, because she doesn't to anything against it. I mean, I understand, that she can't really hurt him, because immortal and all that, but he obviously wants something from you, wich you can deny him if he doesn't give you the information you need. IT'S NOT THAT HARD!
And just as a side fact, my most frequent reaction during reading this book might very well have been 'yeah, no shit Sherlock'.

I don't know how with all this lleads to three stars, but it's not a two stars either, so yeah... And it has a pretty cover.
