It hadn't been your fault. It couldn't have been your fault. You never asked to be dragged up a mountain by your own family, who were determined to be rid of you as soon as possible, nor did you ask to be thrown into a hole down Mount Ebott.

And you especially never asked to be trapped in a place where monsters roam free, where there is little to no food, and where all monsters have resorted to feeding on humans to survive.

And you refuse to be one of those unlucky, stupid humans. You were going to get out of here, one way or another, and it didn't matter if you had to kill along the way.
