Short plot summary- When Cassie doesn't come home from boarding school, Cassie takes it upon herself to try to rescue her, embarking on a dangerous journey with only their dog and a few possessions. She journeys through uncertain territory and stumbles into a world of magical creatures like mermaids, unicorns, and dragons, and it becomes increasingly a important that she rescue Cassie in time, or else she might lose her sister forever.

Beta summary draft (for if it becomes an actual book)- Paige and Cassie are alone in the world, parents abandoned them and leaving them with nothing but a book of stories, a dog, and hope. So when Cassie is sent to boarding school and doesn't come back, Paige gets worried. And when her foster parents don't give any explanation for the lack of contact, Paige decides to take matters into her own hands and find Cassie. What she doesn't expect to find though, is a world of dragons, mermaids, witches, and everything in between.
