Minecraftia has the largest magic core in the world, followed by Britain, Norway and Romania.

Due to that, many creatures thrive there.

One of them, are demons.

No, not those ones from 'Hell'.

They roam freely on Minecraftia's land.

Only those who have power cores, mobs and children from the age 1 to 3 can see demons.

Appearance:

They look similar to humans, a pair of legs, arms, yada yada...

The only difference are the small stubby horns protruding from their heads and their catlike eyes.

I will add an example of a demon as media. Soon, I promise.

Roles:

They feed on power cores so they attack people with power cores. The stronger the core, the more likely you are to be attacked.

They will attack by leaping out of no where and sinking into your mind. Your physical form will pass out and your soul will be transported to particular setting.

Demons feast on cores that are depressed so they search your mind and bring your soul to experience a painful past event of your life to make sure your core is too weak to fight back their jaws.

Once you fall for it, you die. They eat your cores and your body won't be able to live on a country that has such a powerful force and your soul... Explodes. Literally. What's left of you is nothing, you used to exist, but you don't anymore.

However, if you are strong-willed, the demon will retreat and you'll be back in your physical body.

Demons will be impressed with your power and offer a contract with you that will last even after death.

The contract is to serve you as they possess something special and useful to you, making them much more useful.

They can possess your weapon, and you can use their curses and shields to make you more powerful in battle.

If you decline, they will leave you alone and never attack again.

If you accept, they will follow you everywhere and give you advice.

Examples of demons in the story:

One had already been mentioned in Forbid the Unknown, possessing a scythe of a statue. His name is Roderich. Next to him is Rose, who possesses Herobrine's katana. She has not been mentioned yet.

In the future, five or six more important characters will gain a demon companion.

All magical creatures come from a planet called Mindscape. Mindscapers have duties to perform here on Earth and many roam Minecraftia since Minecraftia's core is similar to that of Mindscape's own core. Mindscape has a scale where each creature is classified to their usefulness. The highest rank is a Phobia. The lowest is a single anjmal Shifter.
