Insight into Minecraftia: Military

Minus the story and the shit that happens, let's learn more about the country. Minecraftia is equally as odd as the people who live in her. No offense, you chunk of land. Um.

I'm writing this to compensate for the absence of the chapters in Twisted Choices. The next chapters are too difficult to write. Sorry.

Since the storyline is composed of soldiers as characters, let's look at the military arrangement and all that confusing shit.

So, Hero started it. It was his friend Kaleb's (rest in peace) idea, but he did not make it through the assassination mission so Hero carried it out in his place. Kaleb asked him to anyways.

Military before Hero 'ran away' (you'll learn)

Minecraftia is huge. It was already divided into five parts by the Russians before the rebellion. The North, South, East, West and Center. Only four parts are accessible. The North, South, East and Center. The West is closed off and forbidden for reasons. Ahem.

The North, South, East and West are main parts, with the Center the smallest. The North is where the higher class, rich and the royalty lived. Where the castle resides. If you want good quality and reasonably priced items for trade, go there. It's hard to get a life there. Only the smartest and strongest go there. It's also quite cold. There are lots of forests and meadows.

The South is one of the warmer areas. Many jungles, very warm shores and beaches, with a few deserts here and there. There are scattered villages. A great mining area. Easy to get a life here because diamonds and emeralds are easier to find. Very few meadows, but they are huge, great for farming. Where most of the resources come from.

The East has swamps, marshes and rocky mountains. The weather is always switching between constant raining and endless sun. Quite a normal area. Peaceful.

The Center is the big city. Many buildings, people and more importantly, trade. Traders and merchants come here to earn money. A lot of big companies have their buildings here. There's also nightclubs, bars, restaurants. All the good stuff. Huge carriages that can carry several people are used as transportation, pulled with eight or more horses. Basically a vintage bus. A little difficult to get in there, quite heavily guarded but not as much as the North.

Kaleb's idea was to have army bases in each main part, excluding the Center.

They are all named badly, Southern Army, Eastern Army. Except the Northern one, being called the Royal Military. Fancy. Their uniforms and emblems are a little different. The Royal Military, has a creeper as their 'mascot'? Their uniforms are blue. The creeper is kind of a sign of royalty, which is why Hero's cat, Erin, has a collar tag with a creeper face. The Minecraftian flag is also a creeper. The Northern Army, Sky's one, has a spider. Their uniforms are brown. The Eastern Army uses a skeleton, and their uniform is green.

The Royal Military (RM) are only open to very good soldiers. If they fall behind, they would be sent to the other bases to buck up. Only the best of the best get in here. Hero's high expectations are at fault. The soldiers are divided into three duties. Guards, Army Officers and Police Officers. Guards patrol the Northern walls and the castle. Army Officers go into war and protect the country. Police Officers patrol the kingdom and handle crime. They report back to their general... Hero.

Here:

Army Officers live in the barracks of the base next to the castle. They are given shifts which include:

Hunting, Combat (Hand-to-hand), Weaponry, Agility, Lessons, Missions

And they can join guarding, of course. Their shifts change because they need to renew their skills and make sure they are on top point. They spar in the Sparring Hall. There is a different Sparring Hall for Weaponry, where they fight with swords, guns etc. They also need to renew their knowledge so they can survive better in war, so they go for lessons sometimes. There are classrooms and they are taught by the higher ranking soldiers. For army officers to know what to do in war, they go for missions. Missions like being stranded on islands, or jungles and having to survive for a couple of days. Higher ranking soldiers watch over their progress and report back to poor General Hero.

They are given roles as seen in the diagram. Explorers go out often to bring back notes for the Research & Study Unit (R&S Unit) to update information on biomes, mobs and creatures to report back to Hero. Again. Navy Officers are sent off on ships to guard the waters surrounding Minecraftia. The Mob Management Unit (MMU) tend to problems reported by civilians concerning mobs. They bring back information for the R&S Unit. Medics join these teams. They also stay in the base to tend to injured and sick soldiers.

The Royal Military is still enormous, so the remaining soldiers are Warriors. The better ones become Leaders. Together they form squads to go for the listed shifts.

Should any of the other parts experience difficulty, Hero would send some of these squads to help out for a couple of months. If the situation is alright, they would come back.

If you need to leave the army to go home, you need to inform your base leaders. In the Royal Military's case, go to Hero or his lieutenant corporal. It's up to them. For the other bases, go to your commanders and captains.

If you disobey any rules, you are given three chances. Three strikes, you go to the Detention Barracks which you serve for a few months depending on what you did. The serving months are the same as prison time and it will be permanently in your record. If you present your record to someone for a job, your fault, dude.

The Southern Army.

Ah, where Sky is.

They follow the same thing for the RM. They just don't have guards or police officers. They follow this:

okay fuck I made a mistake it was supposed to say 'Southern Army' sORRY

Sometimes, the Elite soldiers are told of their chance of going to the RM. It means their skills are recognized as better than average so they can go to where all the strong and intelligent ones go. It is their choice though.

If they do accept the chance, they will be sent off to the RM, but they have to do an interview with either the General or Lieutenant Corporal (mostly the latter) and have to pass a strength and intelligence test. If they pass and convince Hero and his LC, they'll get in.

The Eastern Army.

Simple.

They follow the same drill of transferring soldiers.

Just know the highest ranking soldier that everyone needs to follow the command of is the General of the RM. Hero.

Center.

Army officers get sent to the Center to guard the area for three months, then gets transferred with different squads from different armies.

After Inherited and when Hero takes back his general title (during FtU)

More stuff!

The Royal Military has new stuff!

The ones underlines in red are new. Because Hero has experienced and learned more. He added this. (Also because of the new laws)

The Non-Human Unit. (N-H Unit)

Because Hero has discovered that there are hybrids and not fully humans everywhere, he encouraged them to step out and use their skills to their advantage. So those who are hybrids or just... Not human get a special license and badges. There are strictly no All-Human or All-Non-Humans squads. Hero encourages mixed squads. You'll get punished if you discriminate or disobey. Mermaids/mermen/sirens/selkies become Navy Officers if they want to, for example.

Magic-Abled Unit. (M-A Unit)

Sorcerers, witches, wizards and warlocks also hide as soilders. At first, after the law of ban on burning magic-abled people, they still had difficulty being accepted in the army. Seto has faced a lot of discrimination in the Northern Army. Now, after given a special license and getting their wands registered in the Wand Registry, they are able to live up to their full potential in the army. They are allowed to use spells, magic, runes, charms and potion brewing in the army.

Animal Assist Unit. (AAU)

Hero realized that bonding was a thing, that cold bastard... After bonding with Erin, and watching some of his soldiers have good ties with their pets, Hero made this unit. Soldiers who wants to register their animal buddies can bring them to the army. Their animals also go into training with them. They are trained to attack, defend and assist in war. Medics use canines to drag casualties to the medic tent as an example. They join in shifts and missions. If soldiers wants to join the AAU but don't have an animal, they are able to adopt animals listed under the AAU Animal Registry. So, no, don't bring a fucking goldfish to war unless they are giant and fierce and you're a Navy Officer. This is the AAU Animal Registry:

Canines that pass the Canine Test, Felines that pass the Feline Test, Messenger Pigeons, Carnivorous Birds, Horses, if you somehow tame a mob please see General Persson

Canines include tamed wolves and certain dog breeds. You can't bring a Chihuahua to Hero. Bad idea.

Felines include tamed ocelots, lynxes, wildcats, and certain domestic cat breeds that are trained well and large in size.

Messenger pigeons sent messages to other bases. Carnivorous birds can be trained to attack with their talons and beak. Hero has a trained falcon who blinded someone once. Shh.

Horses are large animals. They can kill with a kick or a harsh bite. They also are forms of transport.

If you abuse these animals, it's off to the Detention Barracks for you.

MMU

The rules became more stricter. You are never to kill a mob unless you've tried everything. It's a last resort. If you kill a mob, it's equal to killing a civilian and you'll go to the Detention Barracks. Methods to manage fierce mobs are:

Tranquilizing, Scaring, Loud Noises, Food to drive them away etc

The two methods before killing are, one, asking for a N-H Unit officer who is a hybrid of the mob to come and settle things. Two, if the previous one doesn't work, get General Hero to come. He does speak and he does scare, so he can reason to them. It's annoying, so think carefully.

Southern Army.

Same new units and adjustments. For the MMU stuff, last method before killing is not to request Hero, HE CANT COME ALL THE WAY FROM THE BLOODY NORTH, is to request for Sky. He does the same things.

Eastern Army.

Same new units and adjustments. For the MMU stuff, all you can do is call for a N-H Unit officer. Sorry.
