A/N: As usual, the names have been changed to prevent spoilers.

Suddenly, I see a slender figure make its way through the stream. A familiar head soon comes out of the water.

"Jennifer?" I ask as she stands up. Her eyes are full of joy and laughter, brighter than I've seen them in a while.

"The one and only!" She replies.

I soon see David swimming over from the other end of the stream. "Jennifer?" He asks, much like I had.

Her eyes seem to unfocus for a minute. "I figured it was you" she says. She blinks, and a confused look spreads across her face.

"What is it?" I ask.

"It's not going away...Oh well. I'll get used to it" she says, diving into the water again.

"What was that all about?" I ask David.

"Her gift," he replies. "I don't know much about it, but I've heard her brothers talking about it before. From what I've heard, it allows her to feel what others are feeling. She can't really control it yet."

"So if she's feeling what you're feeling, that means..."

"Yes." He says before I can finish my sentence.

Just what we needed. Another mystery.
