I loved the cover so much that I wanted to make a story about a lost doll that came to life via magic, but since I had no idea what the plot would be, I decided to discard it.

The idea of the dolls trying to find their identity and their maker was the only idea that came to mind.

What would happen if Dolly and Portia went to look for their maker at a toystore?

A singing doll called Madmoiselle would be the first plot point of the story.

She would sing an opera styled song about what dolls are meant to be.

The Dollhouse Orchestra is a subplot with a little musical added into it.

The only characters I could think of at the time were Dolly, Portia, Lolly, Madmoiselle, Marionette, and The Maker.

The genre would be an Urban Fantasy story with Sci-Fi with a smidge of historical references, but the idea is more of a concept than a story.
