Jamie Lauper, son of the legendary music artist and attraction of the very first Wrestlemania, Cyndi Lauper, is a professional wrestler from his hometown of New York City.

After making a name for himself in the indie circuit in Japan and throughout North America, he now signs with NXT under the name James C. L. Thornton, the "C" and "L"representing his mother's first and last name, Cyndi Lauper.
