Kalino Yasokichi, the son of the famous sumo wrestler and the first gaijin Yokozuna champion in Sumo Wrestling history, Konishiki Yasokichi, is a former sumo wrestler, looking to make his mark in pro wrestling, showing he's not just the son of a former sumo fighter.

Winning Championships wherever he went, including a brief stint in WWE, where Kalino was treated as a monster heel, dominating NXT and winning the NXT and North American Championships on two different occasions.

During that stint, he meets Kaori Hosako, formerly known as Kairi Sane, who they became really good friends after they found out they had a lot of things in common.

When Kaori left WWE in the middle of 2020 after three years with the company, Kalino remained where he was until April 2021, when he was released from the company after four years with the company.
