I just learned that Robbie Coltrane, the actor who's definitely best known for playing Hagrid in the Harry Potter franchise has passed away at 72.

This is such a sad day because I grew up watching the Harry Potter movies and The Sorcerer's Stone was the one movie that hooked me in.

I would memorize Coltrane's lines like the back of my hand because I watched this movie so much, but we can never forget about the line that turned him into a meme: "You're a wizard, Harry".

I can't express how much sadness I am right now because this guy was my childhood and to hear that he died just made me want to bawl my eyes out.

Sure, he was in other movies like the 1999 live action adaptation of Alice In Wonderland and many others, but he will always be Rubeus Hagrid to me because that's what I grew up watching.

Rest In Peace, Robbie. Thank you for the memories and we hope to see you in the next life.
