Elijah LoMonaco is the illegitimate son of Mark LoMonaco, better known as Bully Ray in the indies and best known as Bubba Ray Dudley in ECW and WWE, who was trained by his father figure Devon Hughes, best known as D-Von Dudley, and taken into the family, not seen differently.

Taking up the ring name Eli Dudley, Elijah had plenty of success in the indies, Ring of Honor, and most importantly, IMPACT Wrestling, winning titles however he can by putting his opponents through the one thing that his "family" is best at: tables.

After learning his illegitimate father returning to the company, knowing how much of a bastard he is outside the ring and a controversial figure, Eli asked Scott D'Amore to terminate his contract, which Scott agreed, knowing what could happen if LoMonaco runs into his father by accident.

Signing with NXT, Eli would keep his ring name and confront Grayson Waller, putting him through a table, Eli runs into a Texan cutie named Carla Gonzalez, best known in NXT right now as Roxanne Perez.
