Jeremy "Jay" Bollea, the youngest son of Terry Bollea, best known as Hulk Hogan, is considered NXT's most original wrestler due to how loyal he was to HHH and the Black and Gold brand.

When he came back to NXT after being on the shelf the past year due to a neck injury, he finds out his wrestling home has changed for the worst, now that Vinny Mac has taken over and was released soon afterwards.

Jay would meet a cutie named Elayna Black, better known as Cora Jade, and they became good friends before he was released, but when he returned to the brand in September 2022 alongside Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan, they laid waste to the new talent, not caring if anyone thought otherwise, making up the group name, based on his father's legacy in WCW, the "New Xtreme Takeover", or nXt, made up with three NXT originals wanting to bring NXT back to where it once was, a brand apart from Raw and Smackdown.

Interested in joining, Elayna would do so, attacking her ex-best friend Roxanne and donning the shirt, but along the way, she starts to fall in love with Jay, confessing to him. Does he feel the same?
