Chai "Wang Lei" Au Yeung is a former amateur wrestler turned pro wrestler after training with Kurt Angle at the PC.

On his first NXT even, which was a house show, he was able to win his first match until people got to invest in his character, almost similar to Kurt Angle, his mentor.

When Chai shows up for an NXT taping, he's welcomed by everyone who watched his matches, including on cutie named Xia Li.

The two would start out as friends early in their NXT run, but Chai starts falling for Xia, what does she think about it?

Listen, I'm not going to rant so much about Xia Li's current run because if I did, it would take up the whole time.

Anyway, this story is going to take place in in 2019 - 2020, where Li was red hot as a performer before she turned into a Mortal Kombat knockoff and then being repackaged as The Protector.

So, in order to make this OC interesting, I decided to give him an amateur wrestling background like Kurt Angle and make him interesting as possible.

Whereas the real background of the OC, I'm working on it as we speak and I want to make sure that I have it ready once I get started on the story, but it you want a bit of it, here you go:

Chai grew up in a broken home, where he was getting into fights all the time at school, where he claims to be the victim, but most kids would disagree, and being a troubled kid all his life.

One day, he finds himself watching pro wrestling until he starts watching WWE, where he starts getting into amateur wrestling as a way to escape his life.

Chai starts playing sports until he got into amateur wrestling, where he was pretty good until WWE had tryouts in Hong Kong.

He goes to Hong Kong and among him and a cutie named Xia, they get chosen to be at the Performance Center in Orlando.

When Chai arrives in Orlando, he worked with Kurt Angle, a training instructor and he took Chai seriously and expected him to work his hardest, which the wrestler did and showed that he can hang with the best.
