James Bourdeaux is a criminal from America, residing in Kakogawa Prison, who was convicted of manslaughter.

After 5 years of torture, and saving a Yakuza member from death, James was released from prison, on behalf of the Yakuza, who was thanked and inducted into the gang.

While James is meeting his new group, he meets the resident female Yakuza, known for her evil smile as she kills her victims, Kanako Urai.

The two start off on the wrong foot, but they soon their disdain for each other aside after they got invited to a party and they had to act professional around their boss.

A while since, Kana starts to feel differently about James and starts to have feelings for him, but does he feel the same way?

Gaijin is an informal term for foreigners in Japan, including the Yakuza, so I wanted to put in some culture while trying to tell a story.

I've been watching a couple of Yakuza movies and they're actually really good, I personally recommend you watch them. They're on Netflix and they're called "A Family" (you'll have to turn on the captions to know what they're saying because it's all spoken in Japanese), and "The Outsider" with Jared Leto.

"A Family" is very interesting because it's showing the lifestyle and the way you get inducted into the group, but the problem is that in "The Outsider", they show what happens when you make a mistake while in the Yakuza: you cut the top joint of your pinkie off.

The ritual is called Yubitsume. It's basically saying if you can't pay your debts, you pay with your fingers.

After watching a video where a former Yakuza talked about that scene where it happened, where Leto did the ritual with a closed fist with the pinkie extended, when the real Yubitsume is with an open palm. It's not in the middle of the finger, it's at the first joint, what I learned.

I do plan on having that happen in the story, but only when the time is right.

I mean, I am a mob movie enthusiast, but now the Yakuza is starting to get to me! I don't know how many more I can come up with!
