Y/N Shigamatsu is a samurai and a close friend to Kai, a warrior on the outskirts of Ako, the childhood friend of Mika, Kai's childhood crush, and a friend of Öishi Yoshio, his neighbor.

When the Shogun's prince and his witch killed Asano Naganori, Ako's leader, Y/N goes with his neighbor Öishi to Singapore to find Kai and bring him back to overthrow Lord Kira, the Shogun's appointed town leader, before he marries Mika. How do they work together?

Yes, I know there some people who don't like this movie and are definitely gonna give me a hard time with it, but I'm sorry, I can't help myself because I love this movie so much. It's just too cool that I can't not watch.

Seriously, Keanu Reeves is in this movie and I always loved Japanese culture, including the mythology. It's just so cool to learn about and I have an idea on how to make this story connect to its sequel that was just released a year ago, "Blade of The 47 Ronin" as I have a love interest in mind for Y/N in this book, if I lay it all out perfectly, especially for the sequel, which I can't wait to write.

Out of respect for the story and its fable, I'm gonna try to make this story as realistic and true as possible. I don't want there to be any lost context or anything. I don't want it to look like it's coming out of nowhere, being unrealistic.

The story of this fable is going to be as simple and easy to understand, and when this story is released, I'm gonna take this story very seriously because the movie was not very well-liked when it was released back in 2013, so I want everyone to understand what I plan on doing with this.
