I love music! My favorite type of music is rock and alternative rock
One of the things that annoys me the most is when people try to listen to bands that they call "underrated" so they look edgy and cool. I also get annoyed when people say, "Our generation sucks, (band/singer) is real music, unlike that junk people listen to today."
An example of this is when people talk about My Chemical Romance. They are okay, but people are always overhyping them and saying how much better they are than the current popular artists.

Rant over. Here are my 5 favorite bands.

5. Queen

Queen is a band my father introduced to me. I enjoy older music like this, and Freddie Mercury has an amazing voice.
My favorite songs from Queen are Bohemian Rhapsody and Killer Queen.

4. Gorillaz

I heard one of their songs, Feel Good Inc, on the radio and thought they were a neat band. I looked up some of their songs and started listening to them. The electronica aspect with some rap was interesting to me, and I immediately liked the band. Even though I have only been listening for a week, they are an amazing band. My favorite songs are On Melancholy Hill and Dirty Harry.

3. Fall Out Boy

Whenever I need songs to get me pumped, I listen to Fall Out Boy. Their songs are fast and intense, which I love! I think it is cool how their album, Save Rock and Roll, tells a story through all of its songs. My favorite songs are The Phoenix and Irresistible.

2. Imagine Dragons

Imagine Dragons has a good mix and slow and fast songs, giving me something new to listen to every time. I love their music videos and song lyrics. I love every song from their album, Smoke and Mirrors. My favorite songs are Shots and Smoke and Mirrors.

1. Coldplay

Coldplay is my all time favorite band. Although I am not a big fan of their newest album, they are still an amazing band. Their songs are calming and meaningful. My favorite albums are A Rush of Blood to the Head and X & Y. My favorite songs are Trouble, The Scientist, and X & Y.

Honorable Mention:
I love Of Monsters and Men. They are a humble band that sing songs with deep meanings. My favorite song by them is Mountain Sound.
