Scarlett p.o.v

I slowly open my eyes and the room is spinning. I try to stand as I try to lean on the wall for help. Problem is, there is no wall.

I fell back down to the ground with a loud thud. I groan in pain as I shut my eyes. I open them soon after and the room has stopped spinning. I look around the once beautiful living room.

The wall where the TV once was is now demolished. The wall I landed against is also demolished. I hear the shouts of people coming from outside so whatever attacked us must be gone.

Under the rubble lay Kace, the man who was scent to save Derek and me. By the stairs case is Derek's body. He isn't moving but he's breathing.

I look over my body as I touch my head. I hiss in pain and move my hand away. I see that there is blood on my hand and I gasp. I must have been hit in the head with a brick.

'Our injuries are only minor. You have a hurt head, a few bruised ribs, and some minor cuts. I'm already healing you so no worries. Now go check on our mate!'

Speed says and I agree. My slowly stand up and walk over to Derek. His breathing is good and so is his pulse. He has a piece of wood lodged into his leg and his head is bleeding as well. He has a bloody nose, then again I think we all do.

He groans as his eyes flutter open. He looked straight into my eyes and smiles slightly.

"Don't move. Take deep breaths."

I tell him and he obeys. He begins to take deep breaths as he clutches his leg in pain.

"REMOVE THE RUBLE FROM THE DOOR! YOUR ALPHA AND LUNA ARE STILL INSIDE!"

I hear chase shout from the other side of the wall. The ruble is so great that they can't go through the walls.

"Help is coming Derek."

I tell him and he nods in pain. His leg begins bleeding worse than it already was.

"Hold very still."

I tell him as I take off my shirt, leaving me in only my bra. I tie my shirt around the area above the puncture wound. It stops the blood flow. I also take a piece of my jeans and tie it around the area below his wound.

"Okay this will hurt like heck."

I tell him and he nods. He bites his lip and looks into my eyes.

"On three."

I tell him as I grip the wood.

"One."

Deep breath.

"Two."

Oh screw it! I yanked the wood out of his leg and he yelled in pain. I elonged a claw and cut more of my jeans off. I placed it over the wound to act as a bandage.

The sun light began to poke through the ruble as everyone worked to move it.

"Help!"

I yell to let them know we're alive. The rocks begin moving faster as they work harder.

Soon there is enough room and chase, Noah, and Landon climb through. They run to us and look at Derek.

"Help kace."

I tell them and they begin to move rocks off kace.

"He's alive."

Chase yells back and the rocks continue to be moved. Soon there is enough room for a doctor to come through with a stretcher.

They run over to Derek and lay him in the stretcher. He carry him out and to the pack hospital. I follow after him and another stretcher enters the house.

I take a look around to see everything is destroyed. All the houses that once stood beautiful and tall are now ruble on the ground. Children are in groups and women run around helping. Some people are sobbing over the loss of their mates and loved ones.

The trees that once stood tall are now fallen or have branches missing. I see a man being rushed to the hospital with a branch through his head. What's most surprising is that he's running with his friends around him.

I see a child who's crying over someone. This child appears to be around 15 or 16 As I get closer I relise it's a little girl sobbing over the loss of her parents.

"No, please come back. Please."

She sobs and I kneel next to her. She looks at me with teary eyes and sends me a small smile.

"Luna."

She says and I sigh.

"Don't call me that, call me Scarlett."

I tell her as I take her hand. I stand up and she follows my actions. She is still crying and I pull her into a hug. She wraps her arms around me and cries some more.

"T-they saved me. They p-pushed me into the c-celler right before the bombs h-hit. T-they sacrificed t-themselves for m-me."

She sobs into my shoulder. I pull away and wipe her tears with my thumbs.

"They loved you so much. This is how they chose to show you they loved you."

I tell her and she nods.

"Why don't you stick with me for a while."

I tell her and she nods. She still has tears streaming down her face. I take her hand and leads her towards the hospital.

"What is your name?"

I ask her and she sighs.

"Nia."

She says and a loud growl is heard throughout the room.

"Mine! My mate!"

Landon yells as he pushes his way through to us. He pushes me to the ground and captures Nia in his arms. She begins to cry tears of happiness. Landon picks her up and carries her away.

I find the hospital to find that they are super busy. I find a nurse who looks really old.

"Where is alpha Derek?"

I ask her and she sends me a small smile.

"Room 7."

She says and I smile. I thank her and leave to find Derek. He is sitting on a bed while someone stitches his leg up.

"All done. Your free to go."

The doctor says and Derek stands and thanks him. We walk out of the hospital and begin to help with clean up.

"Does anyone have a phone?"

Derek shouts at the top of his lungs as everyone cleans up. They stop and turns to us.

"Here!"

Someone yelled as they ran up. A man handed us his phone and I sent Derek a weird glance.

"I'm calling alpha Altaïr and Kaden. They should help clean up."

Derek says as he dials a number into the man's phone. He puts it to his ear as he leans down so I can here.

"Alpha Altaïr, I don't know who you are but you must have the wrong-"

"Shut up Altaïr. It's Derek we need help with clean up from a bomb attack. You know who it's from."

Derek interrupted and Altaïr chuckles.

"Sure."

He says and hangs up. Kaden is the next one we call.

"Alpha Kaden. Your number is one I don't know."

Kaden says and I sigh. I steal the phone from Derek and put it to my ear.

"Yo kaden is Scarlett. You know, January's niece. Well we need you to help with clean up here at the Nobel pack."

I tell him and Derek begins to laugh his head off.

"Whatever I'm on my way."

He says and hangs up. I hand the man back his phone and turn to Derek.

"That's how it's done."
