In my class we were talking about gender roles. The teacher (who is a man) asked the girls if they liked any of our gender roles. We all said no but then he asked us why. When we told him a reason he said that back then women had no rights and were practically useless. The boys of our class just started to support the idea of old gender roles. They told us that we should just accept that we are not as useful as men. Let me remind you that my teacher is watching this happen. I'm yelling at the boys telling them that it's wrong to treat women like that.

Here's my problem. I was almost raped when I was in 5th grade. I was terrified. I don't even know how I'm alive after that but I am. I'm a 7th grade pansexual girl who suffers from depression. Men want to say that women want it to happen. They say that our clothing provokes them. I don't give a flying fùck if my clothing provokes you. That gives you no reason to rape some one. Then you want us to sit here and watch chaos unfold while you go out there and risk your life. The day that men decide to treat women equally is the day that I acknowledge their existence. If you can't go one day without insulting my gender then you aren't worth my acknowledgement.
