Yuma's p.o.v.

Yuma ran through the piers of Heartland city. He was in a hurry. Ray had contacted him over the gazer, luckily without Zaira or Astral noticing, and was therefore on the way down to the harbor. Ray had sounded urgent, so Yuma was worried that he was in some kind of trouble. He was a barian police detective after all. Anything could have happened.

"Ray! Ray it is me!" Yuma uttered worriedly in the gazer. He was soon at the coordinates Ray had send him, and he really hoped nothing had happened to his friend. Cracking sounds could be heard in his gazer now.

"Yuma you gotta hurry please!" he could then hear Ray say. Seconds later he let out a scream, making Yuma even more worried. It sounded like he was jolted.

"Ray?! Ray you there?" Yuma uttered worriedly, but there was no responds.

However Yuma didn't waste much time. He rushed towards the coordinates Ray had showed him, and soon found a giant red Barian sphere field. It was a little up in the air over the container boxes but was also so big you couldn't oversee it when getting as close as Yuma did. Yuma was starting in disbelief at what he was seeing. Inside the sphere field was two individuals dueling. Yuma noticed Ray right away, but he didn't know the opponent that he was dueling, but he was clearly a barian. The stranger was having similar look as Girag and Alito when he faced them in their barian form. Although most of this barian's body was covered in a purple cloak with hoodie, and therefore only showed Yuma a little bit of grey hair. He was having duel monsters on his field though, indicating that he had just ended his turn, and Ray was up.

"Oh no Ray!" Yuma shouted and made the two duelists aware of him.

"Reporting for duty Yuma?" Ray questioned and turned a little towards him. He was surprisingly down on one feet and didn't look good at all.

"Yeah sure, but who is that?" he asked and looked at the strange barian. The barian was staring back at him with cold purple eyes.

"An unwelcome intrusion. We will finish this later" the barian proclaimed and disappeared quickly through a barian portal.

Yuma could hear Ray shout at him, while the barian sphere field got dissolved and made Ray land beside Yuma. He didn't seem to be in a healthy condition, so Yuma tried supporting him as much as he could.

"Ray! Oh no are you okay?" Yuma asked in a worried tone. "Who was that guy?".

"Yeah I manage" Ray replied and groaned a little. He looked up at Yuma "As for your question. That was Vector and he is the worst barian of them all. We have been after him for years". Yuma looked puzzled at him.

"Vector? He did seem nasty" he then commented. Ray groaned a little at that.

"Listen Yuma, I have a very special mission for you" Ray informed him and was up on his feet's again. Yuma was saluting respectfully now so Ray continued "I am leaving you in charge to protect this world now. I have a feeling Vector will strike again, and I need you to be the one defeating him".

"Heard and understood sir" Yuma replied dutifully, but then turned puzzled towards Ray "Hold on! If he is such a bad guy, why are you leaving him to me? Wouldn't you be more suited for it?". Ray send him a little smile.

"I have fate in your dueling abilities Yuma, That and I am on a mission myself" Ray then informed him. Yuma looked even more curious at him.

"What kind of mission?" he then asked. Ray sighed again.

"If you really need to know... I will be spending time with Zaira tomorrow" Ray then said. Yuma looked stunned at him.

"What?! You are leaving me in charge to hang out with my sister? How is that for a secret mission Ray? Don't tell me you are in love with her too!" he then uttered.

"What? No! No it is not anything like that!" Ray uttered and coughed a little "Listen Yuma. This is an important mission. Tomorrow I am keeping Zaira distracted, so you can deal with Vector without her knowledge".

"Oh how so?" Yuma questioned confused. He wondered why Ray wanted to do something like that. Zaira could after all take care of herself. She didn't need a bodyguard or anything like that.

"I told you I didn't want Zaira to get involved and Vector is the true reason behind it" Ray explained slowly and sighed deeply again. "You must of course not tell Zaira this, but Vector is actually the prime suspect regarding Zaira's missing brother. I also believe he is the one causing Zaira's parents to be...".

"What? That guy is the one tormenting Zaira's family? He is the one making Zaira an orphan? The nerve of that guy! I am so gonna beat him and reunite Zaira with her family! You can count on me!" Yuma uttered firmly.

"Thanks. I am glad you understand Yuma, however..." Ray sighed again "I do not know of her brothers whereabouts, but her parents are no longer by the living. That is one of the reasons I am keeping Zaira occupied and protected as well. Could be that Vector will target Zaira. Although I don't know all details, she could have meet and escaped Vector by a young age, and that could be one of the reasons for her amnesia. Of course that is of course only a theory of mine".

"Sir! You can count on me!" Yuma uttered and saluted again.

He was filled with determination now. Not only by beating Vector he could gain a lot of answers for Zaira, but he could also kick his sorry dueling butt for his adopted sister. No one would get away with what Vector had done. That he promised!

"I am glad to hear that" Ray replied and roamed around in the pocket of his pants. He was holding 5 barian cards in front of Yuma "I am leaving these with you".

"Oh why?" Yuma questioned in disbelief.

"Because you need all the help you can get Yuma" Ray replied firmly.

"But these are barian cards Ray?!" Yuma replied back. Ray just nodded. He reminded Yuma that he couldn't tell Astral nor Zaira this, since this would put himself, Zaira and Astral in danger. Then he left through the dark of the night.

"Astral and Zaira will know everything soon I promise" Ray shouted before he was out of sight, leaving Yuma alone at the pier.

Dumon's p.o.v.

Around the same time.

Dumon was standing once again inside the throne room, as the current leader he was. Although he didn't sit on the throne in here, he was staring at two giant crystals who each were holding one of the barian emperors inside. Dumon sighed deeply as he was staring at the lifeless forms of Girag and Alito. This was what happened if they lost in their full barian form on earth. Encaged in these giant crystals and forever lost in an endless sleep. Or at least until they returned their barian energy once again, which could take years or centuries even. Dumon sighed again and looked at his encaged colleagues. Both Alito and Girag had fought valiantly in the human world, and it saddened Dumon deeply to know that they weren't among them any longer. Even more than knowing that himself, Mizar, and in some way, Vector was the last of the barian emperors to fight in the war against Astral world. Dumon after all respected and cared for his fellow barians and losing one of them was terrible enough. However, at least Girag and Alito would recover one day, unlike the loss of the other three colleagues who were nowhere to be found. His thoughts wandered to the events at that human fun fair he had witnessed, and the things he discovered there. It just couldn't be her. It just couldn't be Zaira! If she was alive wouldn't she return to me? She wouldn't let me worry this long. But then it begs the question, who is this girl I saw and why does she have such resembles to Her! Dumon groaned inside. All those thoughts confused the barian emperor deeply. Along with a lot of other thoughts.

"You called for me Dumon?" a voice suddenly said and made Dumon turn around.

Mizar was walking inside the throne room, and like Dumon, his eyes quickly wandered over to the crystals with Alito and Girag. Despite his pride and arrogance Mizar did care about his fellow barians as well. He just had a weird way of showing it. Dumon nodded. He used that to greet his prideful friend.

"I see that there is no changes to Alito and Girag's recovery" Mizar then mused out as he was standing beside him now. "I still cannot fathom how Yuma Tsukumo and the astral prince could defeat them, when he barely had a chance against me and my Tachyon dragon".

"Yes, I know" Dumon mused in a cold tone "I now believe it is time for you and I to settle that score. We shall go and defeat Astral and claim victory for barian world":

Surprisingly Mizar respond was pure silence, which was weird. Normally, Mizar would be eager to go and fight, which was the reason, it caught Dumon's attention.

"Is something the matter Mizar?" Dumon asked and quickly added, before Mizar could say anything in responds "What are you keeping from me? What are you not...".

Laughter could suddenly be heard all around them and made the two barian's turn towards the voice. In the usually unused throne at the top of the stairway, was a barian being in a purple cloak now present, and it was laughing like crazy.

"Oh what is the matter Mizar? Cat's got your tongue?" the being then said and grinned again. He teleported down beside the two crystals with Alito and Girag "I hope it is not keeping you under the weather, like with Girag and Alito here, or you might have to be examined by Dr. Vector here!". The barian chuckled evilly again.

"It is..." Growled Mizar and Dumon finished in a cold tone "Vector".

"Oh pardon me, but what did you two say?" Vector said and leaned his head close at the two crystals "Was it, that we are weak? You do not have the strength to beat them. Can I cure you? Hehe sorry guys, but I am just a Vectornarian! Ha-ha".

Vector made a flashy entrance some meters in front of the two other barian emperors, only to be slight hit by a fist from Mizar. Or it was close, since Dumon had teleported in front of him, and grabbed his friends hand, before he did in fact maim Vector for mocking him and their colleagues.

"Stop it Mizar! It is no time to be fighting each other" Dumon said in a firm tone and let go of his friends hand. Then turned towards Vector "Nice of you to show up Vector. You have missed a lot. Unfortunately Yuma and Astral manage to stop your brilliant plan to have Dr. Faker and Vetrix destroy Astral world. You were off somewhere, not taking responsibilities for your failures".

"But I didn't fail. I was there, in the human world, and this was all part of my plan. I know exactly what I am doing" Vector defended in a confident tone "Yuma, Kite, Astral, and Shark. They are all about to meet their fate together! So trust in me, and soon we will all crush them".

"No one is gonna listen to you!" Mizar began yelling but Dumon came in between once again. He was glaring coldly at Vector.

"That is enough! I am warning you Vector, no more of your secret stunts or you will answer to me!" he then said, and pinned Vector down with his eyes.

"Ha-ha I assure you it will work" Vector replied and chuckled evilly "Come, it is time to begin the end game".

Dumon eyes narrowed. Whatever Vector was planning, it couldn't be anything good. But then again, Vector was known for making very effective plans. Dumon just hoped he wouldn't regret this.

Zaira's p.o.v.

Time skip.

The clock in the school ran, declaring that the school day was over. I sighed deeply as I packed my school things together. Shark beside me did the same thing and we both left the class together. Our hands intervened, and I couldn't be happier. That and it was fun seeing all the students get out of our way because of our reputation. Shark gave me a quick kiss before he got up on his runner. Rio was smiling happily behind him, as they drove away. Rio had got Shark to take her shopping today. An event I knew Shark dreaded, and I did wonder how Rio got him to take her. Maybe some sort of blackmail or maybe he just wanted to do his sister a favor. It was unlikely, but Shark did have a soft side. Maybe today was the day it showed? However, it did leave me on my own for today. Not that I truly minded. I already had a goal to fulfil. I wanted Yuma to spill the beans on well everything. Since the duel with Girag, Yuma had been different. He did at some point try to avoid me, and here this morning he had already left the house, before I even woke up. I did find him in the school later though. He was even on time, which only made me more suspicious. Yuma was never on time! Therefore I began walking around school ground in hopes of finding him. After all, from the entail I heard from Tori, Yuma hadn't left school, and all his friends were agreeing in that Yuma had been acting weird lately, so they all agreed to find and stall him for me. I smiled a little at that. What was friends for after all. Sadly, I didn't get very far, because suddenly Ray was standing in front of me. I was actually staring in disbelief at him, since it felt like Ray had popped out of nowhere. I was sure he had not been around a minute ago.

"Hi Zaira, chan" Ray said and smiled a cheesy grin. "How are you today?".

I must admit my eyes narrowed in suspicion once again. Ray had not tried to hug me today, which was also unusual. What was going on here?

"Hi Ray. What's up?" I then asked in a nonchalant tone.

"Oh I was just wondering if we could hang out today" he then asked politely.

"Not today Ray. I am busy!" I cut him off in a quick tone.

I began walking passed him. One of the known hideout places I knew Yuma was using was the water tower. Or at least some high up places. I guess I could start there. A hand however grabbed mine and made me stop up surprisingly. Ray had grabbed me!

"I am sorry Zaira chan, but it is really important. Please can you just not hang out with me for the rest of the day?" he begged in a rather sweet tone. I growled angrily and without any consideration I pushed him to the ground and got free from his grip.

"And I said I was busy!" I sneered "Now get lost Ray, or you will regret it".

"Uh Zaira chan is scary when she is angry. Just as you should be" Ray surprisingly replied and got up on his feet's. My eyes narrowed a little. Ray was behaving rather strange as well. He send me a little reassuring smile. "But I really think you shall consider. After all I have been all around getting entails for you. About your brother Zaira chan".

Then Ray began waking away from me. I must admit I was staring after him. I was trying to comprehend everything he had just been saying. Then...

"Hey Ray! Wait for me! What do you mean with entail on my brother?!" I shouted and ran after him with a lot of speed.

Yuma's p.o.v.

Time skip.

Yuma sighed deeply as he wandered through the city, along with the usual crew of Bronk, Tori, Flip, Caswell and Cathy. They had found him at the water tower today and he ended up telling them everything. About the barians and Ray being a police officer hunting the barian criminals. He hadn't spilled that Ray was in fact a barian but that also didn't matter. His friends were tagging along as he was strolling around through the city, looking for the barians. Ray had after all told him to take down Vector, if he ever showed.

"Alright! Where are you?!" Bronk shouted angrily and looked around.

"Show your cowardly faces you barian babies!" Flip yelled as well.

"Crawl out of your little hole. Are you men or mice?!" Cathy also added fiercely and attacked with her supposed fierce claws.

"Um guys I am not so sure it is a good idea to make the barians mad at me" Yuma uttered worriedly as they entered the park. It was the same place they had faced off against 96, when Bronk tried to save them. Tori send him a little smile.

"Oh Yuma. They are just helping you out" she defended.

"I think they should butt out!" Yuma sneered, but then noticed that Tori wasn't paying much attention. She was staring up in the air. Yuma was about to find out what she was looking when Tori pointed up in the skies.

"Guys, what is that?" she asked and made everyone look at what she was now pointing at. A giant energy ball, who was as big as a human fitting in it, flew towards them with incredible speed. The others dodged the ball in the last minute, and it instead hit one of the tall buildings in the city and passed through them.

"Whatever it is, it is not good" Yuma uttered worriedly.

"It is coming back towards us" Caswell uttered sacredly as the ball hit everything at the river bend and then turned direction towards them.

Everyone jumped for cover as the ball smashed into the park ground and created a big crater. Giant blocks of concrete was lying everywhere after the impact had happened, and Yuma looked worriedly around at his friends. Dust were everywhere, and it was difficult to see. "Everyone's okay?" Yuma yelled to rest of his friends as he made sure Tori was okay. He could hear the other cough and state that they were sort of fine. Light emitted from his key and Astral appeared beside him.

"Yuma what is happening?" the Astral prince questioned.

"I am not sure, but it got to be the barians" Yuma then claimed.

Evil laugher ran through the air now as the dust settled, and Yuma and Astral turned towards the voice. A barian in a purple coat was really floating in front of them.

"Who are you?!" Astral demanded knowing. The barian chuckled evilly again.

"I am what you dread" the barian replied and chuckled "My name is Vector".

Yuma eyes widened in disbelief. That was the guy Ray wanted him to beat. He was the guy who knew of Zaira's brother too. Yuma was itching to beat him, but he just hadn't thought it would be so quick.

"Yuma Tsukumo and Astral. I come here to destroy you and your world" Vector proclaimed and Yuma was sure if this guy had a mouth, he would be smirking.

"Quickly Yuma, the others!" Astral quickly urged Yuma on.

Yuma nodded and made his friends run for cover, which had been a good thing since Vector activated a barian sphere field, which sealed both Yuma and Astral inside. Vector soon appeared as well, and he was once again chuckling evilly.

"It has been a while since we dueled Yuma" the barian said.

"What in the world are you talking about?" Yuma uttered angrily "I have never dueled you in my life". Vector grinned again. Yuma really hated that laughter now.

"Oh how quickly we forget. We had lots of fun together when I took over Dr. Faker" Vector then replied and grinned like a real mad man.

"What?! You were the one controlling Dr. Faker?!" Yuma uttered in disbelief.

"I remember that barian" Astral mused out slowly as he was glaring down Vector.

"That was just the preview. I have come to destroy and crush you, and not just the Astral world, but also the human world" Vector then stated.

"I heard enough! This ends here right now!" Yuma yelled back to Vector. Both of them activated their duel disk, and Yuma his Gazer, and soon the duel began.

Astral's p.o.v.

Vector: 4000 Lp's.

Yuma: 4000 Lp's.

Astral looked worriedly at both Yuma and Vector as the duel started. How could he not when their opponent was the same barian that had controlled Dr. Faker. Astral did remember the difficulties they were having while dueling him. Yuma just had to be extra careful here.

"Prepare for some shocks. I will go first" Vector then claimed and drew.

He started off his turn by summoning "Umbral Horror Ghoul". (lv 4, 1800 att, 0 def) An undead creature crawled onto the field and it even creeped Astral out a little. This was apparently Vector's true deck. Vector continued his move by activating his ghoul's special effect. By making its att points 0, Vector could summon another Umbral Horror monster with 0 att points from his hand to the field in att mode. He chose "Umbral horror Unform". It was also a lv 4 monster.

"Now get ready Yuma" Astral uttered, and both him and Yuma knew what was about to happen.

Vector overlaid his two monsters to xyz summon "Nb 66. Master Key Beetle". It was a rank 4 monster with 2500 att and 800 def, and it appeared onto the field in Attack Position.

"He has already played a number card Astral" Yuma uttered in distress.

"Yeah it does not bode well for us" Astral replied worriedly as he was staring down the key shaped beetle. He wondered what Vector had in store for them.

"Then I activate the spell 'Magical Tomb'. I select one card in your deck and put it inside the magical tomb" Vector told them and grinned like crazy "Yuma Tsukumo, I happen to know that you have a barian card, so I am sealing away your 'Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force'".

Astral and Yuma looked in disbelief as a hand from the tomb flew towards them and grabbed Yuma's barian card from his deck. They could do nothing to stop this as the card got sealed away into the tomb.

"You can no longer rank up your monsters" Astral said in a worried tone.

"So I can't use Utopia ray V" Yuma uttered in distress as well.

However, Vector was not done in making it difficult for them. He also activated his number's eff. By using one Ou, Vector could choose one card one the field, and they couldn't destroy that card no matter what. He of course choose magical tomb.

"Grr that means limited barian's force is totally untouchable Astral" Yuma growled.

"Yeah it seems like that is the card Vector fears the most" Astral replied thoughtfully.

"I place one card face down and end my turn" Vector then said and chuckled evilly again "That was easy. Without limited barian's force, you can't win! Ha-ha!". Astral could see his partner shake his fist in anger. This really didn't look good for them.

Ray's p.o.v.

Around the same time.

Ray hummed to himself as he walked through Heartland city. Nothing could actually ruin the mood he was in at the moment. Even if a grumpy Zaira was walking beside him. She was clearly not seeing this as a good time, and she demanded to know what he knew of her brother, which he declined with that it wasn't the time. Did actually make sense since they were surrounded by people. Although it was getting difficult for him to stall Zaira at the moment. She was getting impatient.

"We can do whatever you feel like Zaira chan" Ray then said and send her a big smile "I give". All that earned was Zaira snorting coldly at him.

"I want to know of my brother" she then sneered "That is all I want to...".

That sentence got quickly interrupted with a loud growl from Zaira's stomach. At that Ray couldn't keep himself from chuckling a little. The scene was just so funny. That and added with Zaira's red blushing face was just priceless.

"Well someone is hungry" Ray then pointed out.

"Shut... shut up Ray!" Zaira sneered and send him a cold glare.

Ray just ignored that. He looked around to orientate himself. They had been wandering around in the city for a while. Of course not anywhere near Yuma and his crew, but it was still in Heartland city. Ray smirked a little as he noticed a familiar bar some buildings away.

"Come on Zaira chan, let's get something to eat then" he proclaimed and grabbed her hand.

They were soon standing in front of the well-known Barian bar in the human world. Ironically called "BARian", but Ray had disposed of the R pretty quickly without Zaira knowing. She was after all not a fool like Yuma. Zaira could pull two and two together for sure. Zaira was suspicious of him already after all. This place was for humans and Barians alike. The owner was of course a low ranked barian, so the emperors had VIP here. One of the reasons Alito and Girag hang out here a lot and it did explain where they had gotten the takeout food from. Zaira's eyes narrowed as they entered the door step. Ray was actually worried she had placed two and two together with the sign, when Zaira looked puzzled around.

"I have been here before" she then uttered "They make amazing sandwiches here".

"Wow that is interesting" Rat said and send her a big smile "I only heard the owner takes special guests in. You have to be a VIP or pretty rich to eat here".

Half of what Ray was telling was of course only half truths. Sure the owner took in special guests, but they didn't have to be rich. Zaira hummed a little at that.

"Well guess he didn't complain when I ate here with Reginald once. I had just entered the city at that time though" Zaira proclaimed and hummed a little.

"Yeah! I think they took in homeless too" Ray uttered rather quickly. He was about to say something more, but Zaira didn't let him.

"Oh and what are your story here Ray? You are not homeless, and you don't seem rich to me. Who are you really?!" she bit him off. Ray was smirking proudly inside though. Ah, my little sister are truly one of us. We are truly related!

"Well I have VIP of course. Now let's get something to eat" he stated and walked over the bartender.

Food was dealt with in quiet. Not that Ray ordered much himself, beside a glass of red liquid. He had told Zaira it was soda, which is kinda also was, but it only existed in barian world. Zaira on the other hand was enjoying one of the best sandwiches the bar had to offer. Ray didn't spare on anything for his sister, considering this might be the last day, he could pretend to be human around her. Zaira did send him suspicious glare once in a while, but she did eat quietly. She did believe in him it seems. Something Ray found very amusing, since the food easily could be poisoned. Not that it was, but it could be. He wasn't an VIP here for nothing after all. One of the reason they also were dinning alone with no other costumers around. Zaira was His after all, even though his sister was way too trusting in this case. Not that he was worried. He would soon change that.

"Now spill the beans Ray" Zaira suddenly growled and placed the flatware down beside her plate "Do you really have anything on my brother? Or is this a way to get a date out of me without asking me? This all seems like that to me".

Ray, who had been drinking in that moment, were coughing like crazy now. Zaira's statement had tossed him so of guard that Ray had swallowed the drink too fast there.

"Ah! Zaira chan, are you trying to kill me!" Ray uttered in fake distress.

It was not like he could die from something this simple. His thoughts were running though, and a little smirk was present inside. Oh Zaira, I can't believe you still are so clueless. Kinda cute to be honest, but I am really not into incest dear sister. That and you are clearly not my type. He chuckled darkly inside. Even though, you do belong to me.

"I am sorry" Zaira said slowly and gave him a napkin "So many fan boys are just trying to bombard me with dates before I dated Shark boy. Pretty annoying actually".

"You don't say. Well you are pretty so that is understandable Zaira chan" Ray mused out slowly, while thinking "I will kill them!".

He quickly added when he saw Zaira's glare "But I am not attracted to you in any way. Can't friends share a meal together without it being a date?". Zaira looked at him and then shrugged.

"I guess so. But is it true that you have entail on my brother? The honest truth Ray!" she then demanded. Ray send her the most innocent smile.

"Yep, I didn't lie about that. I guess I can share it with you now that we are alone" Ray replied and made a gesture at the empty seats in here "In fact I am here on request from your brother to protect you. Not that I was too much help, or that you needed it, but it is the thought that counted right?". Zaira's eyes widened in disbelief.

"You knew my brother? How? When? Why? Why didn't you tell me this sooner Ray?!" she then uttered rather annoyed. Her eyes then lit up a little as she stated "Oh I just knew that he was alive. My Nii-san is strong!".

"I can't argue with you on that" Ray mused slowly as he tried hiding a smile "And he didn't officially ask me. We didn't meet, but his case was taken in by me, and yeah. But I am sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I wanted to, but after that emotional display you had on the beach Zaira chan, I felt like I needed to wait until I had clear proof".

Zaira was having a ray of emotions on her face now, and it amused Ray to no end. First, she was embarrassed because she remember their talk at the beach, and then a mix of happiness and confusion was shown. Clearly, she didn't know how to comprehend all what he had been telling her.

"Wait what do you mean case?" she then asked, and her eyes narrowed again "It sounds like you are working for the police or something".

"That I indeed am Zaira chan" Ray said and bowed. He was holding up his fake police badge. He had fixed it up for just this occasion. All that had anything to do with the barians was no longer present on it "Or in this case, space police. We take cases in from crimes committed by beings from outer space. In the case the barians".

"Wait what the barians?!" Zaira uttered angrily and got up on her feet's "What have the barians done with my brother?! If they touched a hair on his head, I swear I will kill them!". Ray hummed at that. He would like to see his sister try.

"That I don't know. I just know that a barian named Vector was part of that case file your brother was holding. Rumors stated that he might have something to do with your brother's disappearance" Ray lied sincerely. It was after all a similar story he had told Yuma. "I have been after that guy for years, searching for clues for his whereabout. Then I heard about you and thought I might find him because of you, which seemed to be the case. He showed up last night, Yuma and I almost got him but...".

Hands got slammed in the table by Zaira now. She was glaring angrily up at him. Just as Ray had predicted. His sister was of course pissed.

"You what? Yuma is in on this?!" she yelled angrily "So that had been the secret he had been keeping all this time? That you are with the space police, and then you didn't tell me Ray?! You were the reason Yuma won over Girag right? I should have known that Yuma couldn't win that easily without Astral".

"Yuma has been a great help in my investigation Zaira. He is a great duelist and unlike you, not emotional attached to the case" Ray tried reasoning.

"Where is he Ray?!" Zaira just bit him off "I am so gonna kill both of you for keeping this secret from me!". Ray pretended to gulp sacredly.

"I send him out to patrol Heartland City in search of Vec...".

Ray didn't manage to say anything more before Zaira had pulled him up from the chair and began dragging him away, by having a tight grip in his wrist. Ray was just smirking evilly inside. Everything was going after the plan.

Yuma's p.o.v.

Back to the duel.

Yuma felt rather annoyed. Annoyed and a bit hopeless. Vector was really having the edge in this duel right now. By sealing his Limited barian's force he really did limit their options. Where in the world did Vector even know he had a barian card from? The only conclusion Yuma could come on was that Vector had anticipated that Ray would help him. They had after all faced up against each other earlier.

"Go ahead Yuma. Draw if you dare" Vector tormented him, and Yuma of course complied.

He was not gonna quit on a duel just because he was drawn into a corner. He drew and summoned "Gagaga magician". Then he activated the spell called "Gagagawind". He could now summon "Gagaga girl" from his hand and raise her level by one. He was now having 2 lv 4 monsters. He of course used them to Xyz summon his go to monster "Nb 39. Utopia" in att mode onto the field.

"Utopia is useless without limited barian's force" Vector pointed out and grinned like crazy "Without its magic you need a miracle". Yuma sneered angrily at that comment. He did know Vector was right in this case, but he just didn't want to admit it. Astral flew over beside him now.

"Yuma activate Gagaga girl's special eff" the astral prince then said. Yuma nodded eagerly and did just that. since Gagaga girl was xyz summoned along with another Gagaga monster, it could use its effect and reduce Master key beetle's att points to 0.

"What? Master Key beetle's att points are gone?" Vector uttered in disbelief. Yuma didn't waste any time and made Utopia attack Vector's number. Master key beetle was soon destroyed and dealt Vector 2500 damage as he slammed into the barian sphere field. He only had 1500 life points left.

"I activate Master key beetle's special effect" Vector then suddenly said "I can keep master key beetle around by destroying Magical tomb".

It was the card Master key beetle had protected after all, but both Yuma and Astral were confused over Vector's strategy now. Master key beetle did arise from the graveyard of course, but since he had destroyed Magical tomb limited barian's force would return back to Yuma's hand at the end of the turn. Yuma smirked confidentially at that.

"Tough break. Your plan is not working out for you Vector" he then uttered.

"But I don't understand" He could hear Astral say beside him "Why would Vector go to so much trouble to seal limited barian's force only to give us it back?".

"Maybe he forgot?" Yuma questioned slowly. At that Astral didn't reply.

However, Vector was not done with his turn. He activated his face down trap card called "Corrupted keys". With this card he could summon three umbral horror tokens, who quickly took shape as Master key beetle, since they were now having the same att points as Master key beetle. That was funny enough 0 att points.

"They don't have any att points Astral" Yuma pointed out rather confused.

"Vector is not a fool. This must serve some secret purpose" his partner replied in an analytical tone. Yuma nodded slowly. He ended his turn, and as he did, the barian card returned to his hand.

"Oh yeah, as long as I have this, we are good to go" Yuma said in a confident tone.

"Remain on guard Yuma. It is Vector's turn now" Astral told him.

Yuma nodded and they both watched as the evil barian took his turn. Vector drew and activated the spell "Umbral horror refresh". This card allowed Vector to return master key beetle's att points back to the normal total of 2500, and since he did, he regained the same amount of life points, meaning his life points were back to 4000 once again. Furthermore, his tokens also gained 2500 att points. It was a really dire situation now.

"He's got 4 monsters with 2500 att points Astral!" Yuma uttered in a scared tone.

Vector chuckled evilly as he began making his monsters attack Utopia. Yuma looked puzzled at the display in front of him. Utopia was having the same att points as the token Vector was attacking with, but he didn't understand why. After all only a number could destroy another number, and those tokens were not a number card.

"Yuma you must stop this attack" Astral suddenly uttered and surprised him big time "Vector will not attack without reason".

"Ah you are right Astral. I will use two Ou to stop their attacks" Yuma then said and did just that.

Utopia used his light wing shield to defend two of the tokens attacks. Sadly, Vector was having 3 tokens, so the last one collided with Utopia anyway and got destroyed. Vector grinned evilly now.

"I activate the spell 'Umbral horror Retaliation'" Vector then told them "Since you destroyed my Umbral horror monster, this card destroys your monster! Ha-ha! So say goodbye to Utopia!".

"No this can't be! Utopia!" Yuma uttered rather shocked as an energy wave flew out from the card and destroyed Utopia. Vector chuckled evilly again.

"Save your screams, because there is more to come" the barian then said and made his number monster attack Yuma, and in some way Astral, directly.

Yuma let of a terrified scream, and he got slammed into the barian sphere field. He only had 1500 life points now. Astral was worriedly by his side, as they could hear Vector grin like crazy. He then ended his turn. Yuma was up.

"Vector still have 3 monsters on his field Yuma. We are at a disadvantage" the astral ghost then pointed out. Yuma sneered angrily.

"Yeah and without Utopia I can't bring out Utopia Ray v" he then said.

"Yuma what in the world are you doing?!" a voice then suddenly shouted, and Yuma turned surprised towards the voice. Down at the ground, beside the crew of his friends, had Zaira and Ray appeared, and he could see that Zaira was glaring angrily up at him. She sneered again. "Don't tell me you are quitting".

"No I... I would never do that" Yuma replied in a scared tone.

Zaira seemed angrier than usual. Then he locked eyes with Ray who was standing beside her, and Yuma knew that Zaira knew the truth now. She was so gonna maim him later.

"Yuma, listen. You can wipe him out!" Ray suddenly shouted. "Just remember. Use your secret weapon!".

Yuma's eyes widened big time, as he remembered the barian cards Ray had given him. He looked over at Vector and nodded to himself. I can win this!

Zaira's p.o.v.

A little bit earlier.

I was running and running through Heartland City, while anger fueled my spirit and I felt like I could run forever. Man I was pissed. I couldn't believe Ray and Yuma had been keeping this from me. This whole business with Ray being from the space police and that he knew of my brother. Sure he explained to me on the way that the reason he had kept himself hidden was because of Astral's and my safety. However, I was still pissed. I mean I could take care of myself And Astral at the same time! Why were they keeping this from me?! Didn't they trust me at all?! But then again, I had been suspicious. Were suspicious. I after all didn't stop being it. However, Ray's story did make sense in some way. He had also stood out as odd to me. He was pretty good at acting for sure, but I think that's about it. I mean he couldn't even make a decent serve in that friendship game and he did get kidnapped by three brainwashed girls. Ray really needed help with this Barian business. That's for sure!

"It is this way Zaira chan" Ray then said and pointed in a direction. My eyes narrowed slowly. In that direction was that park where we had faced 96. Ray couldn't suggest Yuma and supposedly Vector was, there could he?

"I am tracking Yuma with my gazer" Ray responded as he saw my suspicious glare "It says Yuma are up there, and it seems like he is not alone".

"Is that Vector guy with him?" I asked in an angry tone. Ray just nodded to that. He was clearly afraid to say anything at the moment. Served him right! I continued "Good then I will kick his butt too. He knew about my brother's whereabouts right?".

"Um yeah I think so" Ray mused out slowly "If you can get it out of him...".

"Oh I WILL get it out of him!" I growled angrily and marched with angry steps towards the park. Ray followed slowly after. He didn't want to come in between at the moment, which I found fitting.

We entered the park soon after. Or at least what was left of it. Debris were all around along with this giant red barian sphere. Yuma and Astral was of course inside along with a purple cloaked shaped barian, who I figured was Vector. However, what did surprise me was that Yuma actually was about to lose the duel, while Vector was still having 4000 life points and 3 monster with 2500 att points on his field. I clenched my hands a little. What the hell was they doing up there. Something I soon expressed myself as well, as I shouted up to Yuma and Astral in the sphere field.

"Yuma what in the world are you doing?! Don't tell me you are quitting!". Yuma looked in disbelief at me. He could hear the angry tone in my voice, and even shuttered a little. I snort at that. Served him right.

"No I... I would never do that" Yuma replied in a scared tone.

His eyes flickered to Ray beside me, and I knew they were having a silent moment together. Yuma in some way looked even more scared, and I figured he had realized that Ray had spilled the beans.

"Yuma, listen. You can wipe him out!" Ray suddenly shouted and surprised me and everyone around me. "Just remember. Use your secret weapon!".

I could see how Yuma's eyes widened and lit up. He was so feeling the flow. I on the other hand was turning my gaze towards Ray, with suspicious eyes.

"What secret weapons?" I asked. Ray just grinned a little.

"Oh you will see Zaira chan. You will see" he replied mysteriously.

My eyes narrowed at that, but I didn't ask more into it. I had a feeling Yuma was gonna show me soon anyway. Yuma however drew confidentially, and surprisingly activated a barian monster card called "V salamander". I must admit I was staring in disbelief. Then I looked at Ray. That couldn't be what he wanted to show me could it? Since when did Yuma use more than one Barian card? However, with V salamander Yuma could resurrect Utopia from his graveyard. Something who really surprised Vector big time. Then he activated "Rank up magic limited barian's force" from his hand and ranked Utopia into a chaos xyz monster. Nb 39 Utopia ray V to be exact. Just like he did in the duel at the fun fair. I also admit that I felt rather weird when Yuma used that Barian card. I was actually getting a little dizzy. However, Yuma won this duel by using V salamander second effect. It equipped itself to Utopia and v salamander made it so that Utopia effect could be used on all monsters on Vector's field. Yuma of course used one chaos Ou to destroy all monsters on his field and deal Vector damage equal to their attack points which of course made his life points 0. Yuma had won the duel. However for some reason I couldn't relax at all.

The barian sphere field dissolved around us, and Vector was now lying rather beat on the ground. Everyone was cheering over Yuma's victory, but all I felt was a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't know why. Maybe it was because Yuma had played those barian cards, or maybe it was that dreadful feeling I was having that everything was not over yet. That there still were something. An evil omen perhaps?

"I can't believe I lost" I could hear Vector say and groaned a little.

I must admit I bit my lip a little. I was debating with myself if I should go over to him or not. I mean He was supposed to be this evil barian who knew of my brother's whereabouts. I really should go over there and kick his sorry ass until he spilled everything, but instead I was hesitating. I was hesitating, and I had no reason why.

"So Vector now you know that you shall not mess with Astral and me" Yuma then uttered confidently and was staring down at Vector. "Now tell me what you know about Zaira's brother? You do know something don't you?".

I looked surprised at Yuma. I mean unlike me, Yuma was actually brave enough to ask that question I was sort of afraid to ask. In that moment I really appreciate that Yuma was my adopted little brother. His go to attitude was sometimes all that took to cheer me up.

"Ha-ha, you really wanna know about Him now do you?" Vector said and chuckled darkly "Hmm I might answer your question, if you survive what is coming to you".

Then without warning, Vector had got up on his feet's and stretched his left hand towards Yuma. I noticed the ghostly energy hand who stretched out from his hand, and I just knew in that moment that Vector was about to grab Yuma, and surely drag him with him to Barian world. I couldn't let that happen! I rushed forward without any plan, besides gathering up me and Cy's powers in my palms, and were now trying to shield Yuma from this soon to be assault from Vector. I don't know how I knew it, but I just did. I knew Yuma would be too slow to react. After all he hadn't seen that coming. Only I had, or so I thought.

"Zaira chan, watch out!" I could hear a voice shout and turned surprised around. Ray was running and were shouting towards me "It is not Yuma he is after! It is you!".

I knew Ray meant well, and he had been right, Vector was using Yuma as bait to get to me, but that shout out he did ruined my concentration completely. I didn't manage to store up any energy at all, and soon I felt Vector's weird barian energy all around me, as his hand squeezed around me. No that was not true. He squeezed around both me and Ray! We were both in his grip, and his other now energy hand was also around us. Just to make sure we didn't escape.

"Ah, this eh was not supposed to happen" Ray uttered beside me as he groaned weakly. He send me a little weak smile "I am sorry Zaira chan. I am sorry Yuma kun. I wish I could have been better assistance". I just groaned lowly. I felt rather weak for some reason. It was hard to keep my eyes open.

"No! Let them go!" I could hear Yuma yell in utter distress. He was little hard to see.

"Ha-ha-ha. I refuge to go away empty handed Yuma" I could hear Vector say and felt the weight of his energy leave. He had let go of us with his right hand to open up a portal to barian world. "I was going for Her, but I guess two hostages is better than one. Let's see if you are brave enough to follow me".

"Where are you taking them?" I could hear Yuma shout in utter distress.

"The card will give you a clue" Vector replied, and I was sure I saw Vector toss a card to Astral before everything else went dark.

A,N: Dun! Dun! Dun! Cliffhanger! Ha-ha. Okay now I sound like Vector, but still must admit it was a surprising event, right? lol. Hmm do wonder what happens to Zaira, being kidnapped by Vector? Lol. The next chapter is an extra chapter resolving just that. Zaira being in barian world. Man I have been waiting a long time to reveal this event to you. It kinda killing me not telling you. Especially since I had made the next chapters already. Do need to be re written but still. Hope I am keeping the story interesting at least. Please comment on what you think.
