A,N: Sorry for the wait you guys. I guess life and motivation came in between here and I am really sorry for that. But here is the next chapter. I hope that can make up for it a little. Normal p.o.v.

Time passes on from what happened last time. Zaira and co. were at school and things were pretty normal. Orbital was collecting info for Kite, when he crash landed because of some birds. He landed in a fountain and there he saw a weird love movie, which later made Orbital fall in love with Lily Bot as she was driving by. After a weird incident of misunderstanding, where Orbital thought Lilybot were in danger, and had to save her from Yuma in a duel, those two finally got introduced and love was in the air. Which Yuma didn't understand at all. However, time passed on in Heartland and one day...

Zaira's p.o.v.

I was surrounded in darkness. It was all around me, and I felt alone. Extremely alone. There was no Cy. No Yuma or Astral. No one! Besides me and this dreadful darkness. I just felt really alone and lost right now. I had no idea on why. I mean Cy couldn't be gone. He was part of my soul, but for some reason I knew he wasn't. He wasn't here together with me, and maybe that was why I felt this alone. After the duel in the key, I just felt like this. It almost made me think that life hadn't any meaning. But only almost. I still had Yuma and his family. I had Shark as my boyfriend and his sister was one of my best friends. I had a protective partners in dueling from my deck and Cy. I wasn't alone. I wasn't!

"But you still feel lonely" a voice then suddenly said "You are missing it. Even though you can't remember anything. You can't even remember HIM. You poor, poor child".

I froze slightly at that and looked stunned around. There were of course no one around. But at the same time, I knew that I wasn't. I knew that voice. That female voice. It was the voice from the factory. That I was sure of.

"Who are you? Show yourself!" I then yelled in an angry tone "You the one who helped me in the factory. Why are you here tormenting me?".

"Tormenting? You really are lost aren't you, my poor child" The voice replied with a sigh "I am not tormenting you. I am helping you. You would have realized that if you weren't so stubborn".

I was staring in disbelief at well where I thought were coming from.

"Excuse me, stubborn? I am not stubborn. You the one being stubborn. You don't answer any of my questions. Who are you and what are you doing here?" I sneered back.

"I already told you, I am no one. After all, how can I when I am locked away with no existence in the first place" The voice snort out and confused me big time. It continued "As for why I am here, you should be asking yourself that question. I am as lost as you are my dear".

That puzzled me as much as the rest did. What did she mean with I should ask myself why I was here? That didn't make any sense.

"Well let's cut to the chase shall we, before you end up too depressed. It will make neither of us any good now will it?" The voice continued and snort again "All you need to know is that your memories are beginning to catch up to you. I suggest you treasure the time you have with your so called friends and boyfriend. Oh, and stay close to... Ray. Ray Shadows, if you know what is good for you. If you do, you might gain what you have lost".

"Wait what?!" I uttered stunned. This sounded like something was about to happen. Some kind of omen "What did you mean by that? Why should I treasure my time? Why Ray?".

"You will know when the time is right". That was all I heard before everything began being blurry again. I looked frantic around, trying to figure out what was going on here and what to do. I still had so many questions after all.

"No don't go!" I shouted.

"Zaira, Zaira, wake up!". I could feel myself got shaken up, and I flew up from the bed, completely sweaty and horror filled. The dream was still on my mind. I was gasping for air a couple of times, then I noticed Yuma at my bed. He looked worried.

"Zaira you okay? Did you have a nightmare?" He asked. I nodded slightly.

"I... Yeah. It was horrible" I muttered out and took a deep breath.

"I'll say. You were shouting for a long time" Astral commented and flew in front of me so I could see him.

Apparently, he had been present this whole time as well. I must admit I blushed a little in embarrassment. Only good thing was that Shark was not here to witness this. I didn't like to portray me to be weak in front of him.

"Well I am all better" I then mused and got out of bed. I couldn't lie here all day after all. School were about to start, and a new day awaited me.

"You sure?" Yuma questioned "You did seem to be caught in something bad. I even heard you shout Ray's name. What was all that about?".

"I... I don't know to be honest" I replied truthfully and looked down in the ground "It was this voice... I think it was its way of cheering me up. Said my memories would return and that I should stay close to Ray...".

"Oh, Ray hu? Well then everything is good. I am sure you are in good hands then. With Ray, there is nothing to fear" Yuya interrupted and smiled confidentially.

I must admit that confused me big time. Since when did Yuma have this much faith in Ray all of the sudden? Yuma looked puzzled at me.

"What? Why do you look at me like that?" He asked and bit his lip worriedly.

"Since when do you have this much faith in Ray?" I replied and could see Yuma look even more distressed than before.

"Um eh... You know the duel" he then stuttered out "A duel changes people's view you know...".

My eyes narrowed a little. Yuma was terrible at lying after all. Now that he mentioned it, he never told us how the duel went with him and Ray and how he defeated Girag. I was about to ask him that, when Yuma suddenly let out a wild outburst and said we were late. He grabbed my hand and rushed out to the street. Barely getting breakfast to go. My eyes narrowed again. Yuma was hiding something, but for now I would play along and let him keep that secret. For now. I was gonna find out the truth sooner or later. That I knew. It was only a matter of time.

We were running through the street as fast as our leg could carry us. I must admit I almost got used to that, considering all the running shortcut's from Ray. That and I could almost hear the teacher shout in my ear that I was late once again.

"Ahr I am late again" Yuma shouted out as well "Mr. Kay is so gonna kill me. Why didn't you wake me up earlier Astral?". Astral rolled his eyes at that.

"For an hour I said 'Yuma wake up. There is something wrong with Zaira'" Astral replied and made me lift my eyebrows in confusion. I was having a nightmare in a whole hour? Yuma groaned a little at that.

"Well you should have said it louder" He then complained.

"Make way coming through!" Bronk shouted as he drove down the road on his skateboard.

Something I found hardly fair here. That and he was grinning evilly as he passed us both. He refused to take us with him. That however got paid back when Bronk had to stop because of a mom duck and family in that moment wanted to cross the street. In the end, Bronk had managed to stop up in time, but he was laying beat up on the ground. Yuma and I of course rushed to his aid. Sadly, or luckily, whichever way you saw this, someone was faster than us.

"Wow now that was a wipeout" Rio said as she bowed down and helped Bronk up on his feet. She was handing him her handkerchief "It seems to me you got a little banked up".

She brushed his arm where he had gotten a slight cut, and I noticed Bronk were blushing like crazy now. Rio didn't notice however, and soon she had tied up his arm with the handkerchief.

"How does this feel?" Rio questioned as she was all done.

"It... It feels amazing" Bronk uttered and made me sweat drop a little.

"Well take care then" Rio said and waved goodbye as she walked towards the school. I quickly followed. We were after all classmates. However, we did leave a stunned and very lovey dovey Bronk behind.

Normal P.o.v.

Time skip.

Yuma and the gang was sitting inside their classroom. It was lunch break, and everyone was enjoying their lunch. They were having a random conversation. That until Tori had asked Bronk something, but he wasn't responding at all. He was only staring at the handkerchief Rio had given him.

"Earth to Bronk! Come in!" Tori then said and tried to get him to notice her. That however did nothing. The others all assembled around him. They were trying everything to get Bronk to notice them.

"They are giving away donuts in the cafeteria Bronk. All you can eat. First come first serve" Cathy tried first. That didn't work.

"That did nothing" Flip added in and shrugged. "He must have got it really bad". He had just said that when Bronk got up from the chair and rubbed the handkerchief in his face while shouting Rio's name. Everyone sweat dropped at that.

"Yep he's got it" Caswell added with a big smile.

"Well if you really like Rio that much, you should just take a chance and ask her out" Tori then said. That of course got Bronk's attention.

"You think so!" Bronk uttered happily, but then became completely depressed "But what if she doesn't like me?".

"Well my philosophy is, if you don't ask, then they can't say no" Flip said and nodded impressed by his own wisdom.

"That is a really good point" Bronk uttered. Distress was shown in his face now.

"I also feel like that it should be pointed out that Shark is her brother" Ray said slowly. Bronk flipped out at that too. That was a really good point too.

"That doesn't matter! All that matters is whether or not Rio likes Bronk, and he won't know unless he asks her out!" Tori now uttered in an angry matter.

"That's a good point!" Bronk said and smiled like hell now.

"But if you say or do the wrong thing, Shark would make your life miserable" Cathy sing song, which made Bronk completely depressed again.

"Good point..." he mumbled.

"Well I got it!" Flip then said, "You just gonna have to win Shark's respect Bronk".

"And how is he supposed to do that?" Caswell questioned. Everyone went silent know. They all didn't have a clue to that one.

"Well what if... You beat him in a duel?" Ray suggested slowly.

"Yeah that's it! I'll duel him! If I manage to defeat Shark in a duel then... maybe he will respect me, and then..." Bronk uttered in a happy tone. Pictures of him defeating Shark was now shown for his inner mind. Then bells could be heard and him and Rio was about to be married. He could see Rio walk down the alter. She looked very pretty in the most stunning wedding dress he had ever seen. "Alright! I am gonna challenge Shark to a duel!". Then he began leaving the classroom.

"Ah Bronk wait a sec..." Tori said and tried to stop him, but he was already gone by then. The others looked after him, as he had left the classroom.

"He is a goner" Caswell then said. Everyone knew he couldn't defeat Shark.

"Totally" Cathy added in. Yuma on the other hand was just eating as usual and had no clue what was going on here at all.

Time skip. On the school's roof somewhere.

"A duel? You mean like you and me?" Shark questioned as Bronk had pulled him out from his lunch break with Zaira. To say that he wasn't annoyed was an understatement. Bronk nodded eagerly.

"Yeah that is right. And if I win the duel then eh... then eh. Your sister is..." Bronk tried saying. He couldn't get the words out that if he won, he could date Rio. He was blushing like crazy now.

"Face facts. You are wasting your time Bronk" Shark cut him off in a cold tone. "The only guy around here who even comes close to be good enough is Yuma".

"So, then you are saying, you only consider Yuma?" Bronk uttered.

His mind was still fixated about Rio, and he truly believed that Shark now thought only Yuma was the only one he would consider to date Rio. And he was not the only one. Behind the door to the roof, was Caswell and Flip listening intensely. Or at least tried to.

"Consider him for what?" Caswell questioned in a puzzled tone.

"For Rio I guess" Flip then said and shrugged. Bronk looked extremely shocked. This time he pictured Yuma and Rio getting married together, and everyone was attending the weeding. They all looked so happy.

"You kept me long enough away from Zaira" Shark sneered "If that was all, I will take my leave".

Bronk nodded slowly, mumbling something about that it was good talking to him, before he fell down on his knees. He couldn't believe Yuma and Rio were dating. Flip lit up however.

"The world need to know about this" he then proclaimed.

The next day at school in Yuma's classroom.

"What?!" Tori yelled up in a horrified scream as she read Flip's blog post he had just shown her. She couldn't believe what she was reading. Rio and Yuma was dating?! Cathy didn't look happy either.

"And that was when Shark said to Bronk that only Yuma could be Rio's boyfriend" Caswell now ended his story with. Ray looked perplex at the blog.

"You sure about this?" He questioned.

"If I wasn't sure about it Ray, I wouldn't have posted the entire story on the frontpage of my blog. 'Flip's daily quotes' so everyone could know about it" Flip said.

"We were there the whole time. We heard it all" Caswell added in and smiled.

"Well... that is good for then" Tori said in a calm tone, but anger mark were shown at her temples. Cathy had sharped claws out and hissed angrily too.

"It isn't fair!".

Somewhere at school campus.

Bronk was standing at the school railing when Yuma approached him. Bronk had called him here because they had something very important to talk about.

"What's up Bronk? What do you wanna talk about?" Yuma then questioned.

"Yuma, I am really frustrated" Bronk then uttered.

"Um okay why is that?" Yuma replied. There was something off with Bronk here.

"I am frustrated because it can't be me, and that makes me super bumped. And super bumped is not fun" Bronk replied which confused Yuma even more.

"But Yuma I know You and I are best buds, am I right?" Bronk then continued and send him a big smile. A smile Yuma of course returned.

"Yeah Bronk. Of course," He then replied.

"That's why I will try to be okay with this but make Rio cry and we are gonna have words!" Bronk then uttered and made Yuma even more confused.

"Wait, what in the world are you talking about?!" He then yelled.

"Shark said the only guy good enough for Rio is you Yuma. You!" Bronk explained. Yuma was staring at him with disbelief now.

"So that is why everyone thinks we are dating!" a voice suddenly could be heard, and Rio appeared. She didn't look happy at all. "I should have known that Reginald was the center of all this".

Zaira's p.o.v.

"Ah isn't that a lovely day today!" I uttered as we walked down in this park that I had selected for our date.

I know a park was not our thing since we were the action kind of people, but I needed some peace of quiet, so I had asked Shark to go there. Sure, we had once again ditched the school sessions, but who really cares. It was a lovely and warm comfortable day. The birds were singing and yeah everything were great. I took a deep breath of fresh air. It felt nice.

"Yeah sure" Shark mumbled and continued forward. Our hands were locked together, so I automatically followed. My eyes narrowed. Was Shark in a bad mood today?

"Shark what is wrong?" I asked slowly. Shark stopped up and were sending me a cold glare. Something I of course send back.

"What's wrong? You should better yet ask yourself that Miss stubborn. You are being very weird today" He then confronted me with.

"What, weird? I am not weird at all" I lied innocently. Shark had actually hit the nail on the spot here. Since that nightmare I had just... I don't know. Maybe I was scared of that omen that were about to happen? Shark growled annoyed.

"Yeah weird. Since when, have you been all positive and saying everything is lovely?" he questioned. "You never like that".

"Oh, and I can't think things are cute and lovely?" I snort back "I am a girl you know". Shark lifted an eyebrow at that. I actually figured he was gonna force me to fess up what was wrong, but instead he changed gear entirely.

"Okay fine. If you're going to be like that, then I won't stop you. I'll play along for now, but I'm still going to ask about what's this issue is anyway" He proclaimed "If you can be all like that, then why shouldn't I? Yeah it is a lovely day. So warm and comfortable".

I tsked annoyed at that. Shark was clearly trying to give back at me with my own medicine. I was not gonna give in here though.

"Have you seen that cute little squirrel there?" Shark then said and pointed at the squirrel in front of us. Normally girls would find such creatures so cute. Sadly, I was not one of those girls. To be honest I had a slight...

"Ahr! Reginald get that cruel evil hairy monster away from me!" I shouted and hid behind the closest tree. To say that Shark was surprised by my behavior was an understatement. He was really staring. Only good thing he was not laughing. Yet.

"Don't tell me you are afraid of squirrels Zaira" He then questioned slowly.

"Reginald, make it go away! Now!" I shouted angrily and peeked out from the tree.

"Right, right. Man, you are as worse as Rio is" Shark grumbled annoyed as he scared the squirrel away "Who can be afraid of squirrels anyway?".

"Yeah you would say that Onion boy!" I yelled from the tree as I leaned up at it. "You who is afraid of onions and peppers. Then you dare to mock me".

"What? How do you know about that?" Shark sneered angrily as now had rushed to my side. He was glaring annoyed back at me, and I at him.

"From Rio. She told me that the first day we meet" I then replied firmly.

"Ahr! So gonna kill her for that!" Shark sneered angrily. He looked at me again "You dare tell anyone about that". I rolled my eyes and pushed him away from me.

"Only if you don't dare tell anyone about the squirrels" I then replied.

"It is a deal".

We soon found ourselves sitting at the grass eating an ice cream. It had been Shark's treat. We both licked the ice cream and enjoyed the good wetter. Shark however was looking me once in a while, but as soon as I looked at him, he turned his head away. It was like he was not gonna admit he had been staring at me again.

"Zaira..." He began asking very slowly "Why do you hate squirrels?".

"Hmm why do you hate onions?" I responded innocently and licked my ice cream. '

"You can't answer my question with another question Zaira" Shark mused out.

"You bet I can" I just replied and rolled my eyes. Shark growled annoyed.

"If I reply your question, do you answer mine?" he then questioned. I shrugged a little. I was not gonna promise anything. However, Shark took it as a go sign and continued "Fine. I hate the smell of the onions because I once as kid fell into a box of onions. Sure, I was out pretty quick, and the onions were in nets, but I felt like a skunk for a week. It didn't help with Rio teasing me, stating to me I smelled like one. The smell and taste just makes me nauseous...".

"Oh, my poor little Shark boy" I replied in a sympatric but teasing voice. Something that made Shark send me one of his famous glares. I sighed deeply.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to mock you" I then reassured and sighed again "Actually, I am deeply touched that you trust me enough to tell me this. I think I will tell you why I are afraid of squirrels then. You see at the orphanage the kids always teased me. The adults did nothing and almost encouraged them to it. Almost. There was one day where I was outside, which doesn't happen often by the way, but it was summer and warm, and I fell asleep, sleeping peacefully somewhere in the garden. That was until one of the other children, decided to pull a prank, and got an angry ferocious squirrel which they stuffed under my shirt while I was sleeping. Talk about the fear when I woke up and something was running around on your back, biting me too, to try and get out. I know the squirrel were as afraid as I was, but still. I dislike those hairy monsters ever since".

I bit my lip as I recalled the events at the orphanage. It was still a terrible subject for me to talk about. A lone tear fell down my cheek now. I could feel Shark had grabbed and squished my hand in a very reassuring matter.

"I am sorry..." Shark then responded slowly and looked at me with one of his few reassuring smile "We can't change the past Miss stubborn. No matter how horrible it has been. But we can learn from it and move forward. Just know you are not alone. Not this time".

I nodded slightly and learned my head at Shark's shoulder. I refused to let go of his hand though. The rest of my ice cream cone got tossed out in the grass, as the birds ate the cone pieces. I didn't feel like eating more of it. We were sitting like this for a little while. Just enjoying each other's company. Then Shark slowly let go of my hand, which made me look up at him.

"Now we are at it, care to explain what has been going on with you lately miss stubborn? I know the past is not the only thing troubling you" Shark said, "If you want you can share whatever is worrying you now with me too".

I lifted my head and looked at him. I had almost forgotten the dream from this morning. The one with the voice and the memories along with the suggestion of Ray. I bit my lip a little.

"Sure" I then mumbled "Why not". I took a deep breath and were about to tell my boyfriend everything. Sadly, I never got the chance to say anything else, because his D-Gazer suddenly began ringing like crazy. Shark growled but grabbed it.

"Rio" he said as he answered the call "I am in the middle of something...".

"And I really don't care Reginald!" I could hear Rio literally shout in the other end which surprised me big time.

She sounded extremely mad. "I don't care what you are doing, or where you are right now. All I care about is you coming back to this school pronto. If not, I am gonna tell everyone about your love for romantic movies".

"You wouldn't dare! Rio!" Shark shouted angrily and blushed like crazy now. Properly because I was right beside him now. I chuckled a little. So, Shark loved romantic movies. Well that was actually pretty cute.

"Meet me at the tennis course in half an hour" Rio said and hung up on us. We both looked at each other now and wondered what the hell happened just now.

"Well guess we better get going" I stated and got up.

Time skip.

We soon found ourselves at the tennis course of the school. The place Rio wanted us to meet, but apparently, we weren't the only one. Yuma and the usual gang was right behind us, as we approached the field. I was trying to make my school uniform fit better. We had to dress into it pretty quickly, since Rio only gave us half an hour. Sure, the school was actually over, and the only thing remaining were the club activities, but still. We didn't want to risk not being in the right dress code. I studied the others as we arrived. There were some sort of tension here. Most of it seem to come from Rio for some reason. She looked furious to say the least.

"What's going on?" Shark then questioned and looked at his sister "Why are we all here Rio?". I could hear Rio hiss angrily now.

"I challenge you to a duel" she then stated. I lifted an eye brow at that. She called us here, just so she could duel Shark? Was she serious?!

"You too?" Shark questioned and snort "A lot of that is going around today".

"I am serious Reginald! Do you think this is funny?!" Rio then shouted and were holding up her gazer.

She was showing us some weird article on the gazer. I didn't manage to read any of it, before she took it away again. Shark seemed to be as clueless as I was in this case too.

"I don't even know what this is" Shark then stated which made Rio even more mad.

"You are my brother, but you do not make my decisions for me!" she shouted.

"Rio... I eh..." Bronk tried saying. I think he tried to make her calm down. Sadly, that didn't go very well.

"This is between me and Reginald" Rio cut off and made Bronk shrunk down. He was pointing his fingers together and looked embarrassed.

"We really have things to do" Shark sneered and turned around. He was clearly annoyed that our date had been ruined because of a simple duel request.

"Too scared?" Rio then suddenly teased and smirked at Shark "I know how you can get scared sometimes. It is like your strange fear of onions. Maybe I will have Flip blog all about it".

I froze slightly at that. Shark did seem like he was about to lose his temper. That was one of those secrets he surely didn't want out.

"No, you won't! I am serious Rio. That is not cool!" Shark yelled back.

"Hmpf well if you don't won't the whole school knowing about that. Then you gotta duel" Rio stated in a cold tone.

I looked from Shark to Rio now. I was amazed by Rio's blackmail skills here. She had really driven Shark into a corner here. He couldn't refuse.

"A battle between brother and sister. We should wear earplugs" I could hear Astral state with a smile. And soon the duel began. I on the other hand decided to walk over and get some answers. This was clearly not just a friendly duel.

"Fess up you guys. What is going on here" I then said and were glaring at Yuma and the gang.

Rio's p.o.v.

Shark: 4000 Lp's.

Rio: 4000 Lp's.

Rio was glaring angrily at her brother. She couldn't believe he had stated that she should date Yuma! How could he?! Yuma was first of all not her type, and second of all, who did Reginald think he was. He couldn't decide who she should date or hang out with. He should just mind his own business! The rage that was boiling inside of her was like a ferocious wild fire right now, who properly clouded her judgement just a little. If she thought logically about this, there was just no way she could win over her brother. She had never been able to before. Well there were a first time for everything. This time she was gonna win.

"You never beat me in a duel, and that's not gonna change. Not today" Shark also pointed out and drew.

He started off his move by summoning "Big jaws" from his hand, and since he had normal summoned a fish type monster he was also allowed to summon "Shark stickers" from his hand. Both of them was lv 3 so Shark of course overlaid them to Xyz summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" to the field. This giant shark type monster who was rank 3 and had 1900 att appeared onto the field. Rio knew that monster of course. Shark had used that monster in many of his duels. She also knew what was coming next.

"Now to really get things going" Shark proclaimed and used his Aero shark effect. By using one Ou, he could hit Rio with 400 points of damage for every card he had in his hand. He was having 4 so Rio took 1600 points of damage.

"Not wasting any time, is he?" Ray uttered from the sidelines.

"She has no way to block that, does she?" Tori also said in a worried tone.

"This is what happens when you bring up the onions" Shark sneered and pointed a finger at her "That and you told Zaira that without telling me. So here take 1600 points of damage sis. Go torpedo take down".

"Well guess it is a good thing I got 'Guard Penguin' to protect me" Rio then stated and activated the cards effect from her hand.

It reduced the damage she would have taken to 0 and she could also special summon it to the field in att mode. (lv 4. 0 att and 1200 def) Sadly, her brother was not impressed.

"Hmpf any wannabe could have pulled of a counter like that" Shark stated.

"Well it takes one to know one Reginald!" Rio sneered back at him.

"Hmm let's see you say that when I play this card" Her brother replied and played the field spell "Aqua gate".

Rio looked stunned around as the field began changing. Both her and Shark were standing on two giant pillar platforms. A water field with pillars were all around them and in the middle of the field, in between both of them, was this massive gate. The door in this gate was made out of pure water which fitted perfect for the field name "Aqua gate". With this gate in play, this gate negates an attack once for every spell or trap card on Shark's field. He ended his turn with two facedown's, so he could block 2 attacks now.

"Your move sis. What are you gonna do?" Shark then asked and smirked confidently.

"You are about to find out" Rio said and snort "Watch this onion boy!".

Rio drew and started off her move by summoning "Blizzard falcon" to the field in att mode. It was a lv 4 as well, so Rio was of course going for an xyz summon. She overlaid her two monsters to summon her "Ice Beast Zerofyne". (Rank 4, 2000 att 2200 def)

"Rio, if you attack then Aqua gate is gonna stop it" Rio could suddenly hear Bronk shout from the sidelines. Rio couldn't hide a smile at that.

"Good thing I got the perfect way to deal with that Bronk" she replied as he looked in awe at her.

Rio was gonna show him what she meant right now. She activated Zerofyne's special effect. By using one Ou all face up cards had their effect frozen until the beginning of Rio's next turn. Best part one of Shark's face up cards also lost 300 att points for every card that had their effect frozen. That was Aqua gate and Aero's shark, so Shark's monster lost 600 att points. (1900-1300).

"That's how it is done. You go Rio!" Bronk now cheered from the sidelines too.

Rio was only half listening. Thoughts were running through her head now. Wait a second. This is too easy. Shark had to have known I would summon Zerofyne. Is Aqua gate a decoy? Of course! I gotta switch gears and focus on these two facedown's.

"In that case, I equip Zerofyne with 'wings of silence'" Rio then said and activated the named spell "If you were thinking of stopping Zerofyne with your facedown cards. I got some bad news for you. Not only will wings of silence raise Zerofyne's attack points by 300, but it will also protect it from your spell and trap cards".

"A smart precaution but Shark does not seem faced" Astral mumbled from the sidelines. Rio however, didn't hear it, and therefore attacked with her Zerofyne. She attacked and destroyed aero shark. Shark was dealt 1000 points of damage.

"Too bad I didn't walk right into your trap" Rio stated and grinned.

"It really is too bad" Shark then said slowly. A grin appeared on his lips "Too bad that you are dueling just like I knew you would".

Then Shark activated one of his facedown's. The trap "Ghost salvage". With it he could revive his xyz monster as well as the monsters he used to summon them with. Rio looked in horror when Aero shark, Shark stickers and Big jaws appeared onto the field once again from the grave. Only good thing was that their effects were negated. Sadly, Shark was not done yet. He activated his second trap. The card "Full armored xyz". Shark targets his aero shark and now he can Xyz summon, no matter who's turn it is. So, he overlaid Shark stickers and big jars once more to bring out "Black ray lancer" to the field in att mode. Then the second effect of his trap activated. He could equip aero shark onto black ray lancer and combine their att points. Rio was soon staring at a powered up black ray lancer with 4000 att.

"Looks like you Did walk right into my trap" Shark then said and smirked "There was never any way you were gonna beat me sis".

Zaira's p.o.v.

"I can't believe This is the reason they are fighting!" I sneered out in an angry tone "There is just no way Shark said that".

"But it is the truth. We were there the whole time" Caswell uttered and grinned.

"Yeah. Believe it" Flip also added in "This is such a big scoop".

I crossed my arms defiantly. There was just no way. There was just no way Shark would state that Yuma and Rio should date. Something must have gone wrong. That much was clear, but I sadly didn't know what. However, Shark and Rio was both my best friends and Shark was even my boyfriend. There was just no way this was true. But it explained Rio's rage a minute ago. If Yuma had said I should date etc. Caswell or Trey, I would want to kill him as well.

"Well it is not like we can stop the duel in the middle" Yuma then replied slowly "We might as well see it to the end". I rolled my eyes at that.

"You just want to see them duel Yuma" I then replied, and Yuma froze a little.

"Is it that obvious?" he then asked and everyone around replied him with a 'yes', which made Yuma scratch his head in an awkward matter.

I rolled my eyes a little. That said Yuma was right about one thing. We couldn't stop the duel. My eyes fixated on Rio now. Sure, Rio wasn't a bad duelist, but sadly she was facing Shark of all people. He was her brother and he knew her dueling strategy. Or I figured he did. Until now Shark was countering all her moves, and even made Rio walk into his trap in summoning black ray lancer. He even managed to combine it with Aero shark. It was hard to get a counter move in here after that. Rio did seem to know that too, as she placed down a facedown and ended her turn.

"Ha I knew you couldn't do nothing" Shark snort and drew.

He activated the spell "Break stream" and equipped it to his black ray lancer. Now when Black ray lancer attacked Rio couldn't use any trap or spell cards on it until the end of the damage step. What was even worse, since Rio had used Zerofyne's eff to freeze everything, Aqua gate couldn't help her here either. She was at Shark's mercy and in duels Shark really didn't have any mercy. So, he of course attacked with black ray lancer and destroyed Zerofyne. He also dealt Rio 1700 points of damage. However, Shark was not done yet. Since black ray lancer had destroyed a monster in battle, break stream's second effect activated, and could get rid of one of Rio's spell or trap cards. I could see the horrified look on Rio's face when Shark destroyed her only facedown card.

"You never had what it takes to be a real duelist" Shark then pointed out in firm matter "I remember when you first started dueling. You needed me to build your deck for you. You didn't know what to do then and you don't know what to do now".

I must admit I got a little surprised at that. Sure, I knew Shark and Rio were siblings, but I never knew Shark actually taught Rio how to duel. No wonder Rio didn't stand a chance against him. He really must know every move she would or could make by now. I could see Rio clench her hands in an angry matter though.

"That is not true. You are wrong" Rio then uttered and made Shark tilt his head in confusion to her words. She continued "I have changed Reginald. You may have build my deck when we were kids, but I am all grown up. I don't need your help anymore. I do things my way!".

As Rio shouted the last part out a familiar card appeared beside her now. I must admit I was a little surprised by that. Wasn't that the card Shark just had destroyed?

"I am activating my trap called 'Ice fire egg'" Rio then said.

"How can she play a card break stream just destroyed?" Bronk questioned and took the words right out of my mouth.

"This particular trap gets activated when it is destroyed" Rio explained firmly as she stared down Shark "And it allows me to summon one water xyz monster from my graveyard by stripping it of all its att and def points. So, I will bring back Zerofyne and Ice fire egg changes Zerofyne to level 5".

"That is awesome!" Yuma uttered happily.

"But it doesn't have any att points" Tori pointed out in a worried tone.

"Even if it did, Rio wouldn't know what to do with them" Shark then stated as he tossed down a face down and ended his turn.

It was Rio's turn now. Sadly, it did seem like she was hesitating. She was holding her hand on her deck but didn't draw. It was like she was afraid that she wouldn't get the right card and thereby lose. Sure, there was a lot of pressure on her right now, but still. If she didn't draw, then nothing would happen. She needed to do something. She needed to take the risk here.

"I bet I know what you are thinking right now" Shark then suddenly said "You are worried that I am three steps ahead of you, and that this face down would activate as soon as you make your move. That's what you are thinking right sis? Of course, because you doubt yourself". I could see Rio flinch at that. Shark's words were apparently getting through to her.

"Self-doubting wannabes don't win duels" Shark continued and pointed a firm finger at her "And that's why you always lose to me. Cause you don't trust your instincts. You are not gonna win. You are just gonna keep second guessing yourself into corners and you know it".

My gaze went from Rio to Shark now. I knew this was Shark's way of actually helping Rio but wasn't that a little harsh. But then again it was true that if you did doubt yourself you couldn't win. Your deck wouldn't respond to you if you didn't believe in yourself or it at all.

"Don't listen to them!" a voice suddenly shouted, and I turned surprised toward it. Bronk was looking firmly at Rio now as he continued encouraging Rio "Rio I know you can do this. You are just gonna have to trust yourself, and don't get all caught up in thinking about what might happen. You just gonna take a chance today".

"Yeah that is right" Yuma added with a big smile "You just gotta...".

"You just gotta high five the sky!" Bronk shouted and interrupted Yuma in everything he was about to say.

Yuma even ended up doing an anime fall down since Bronk literally had stolen his catchphrase there. I chuckled a little at that. Bronk was surprisingly aggressive today. He usually was so timid, and love struck around her.

"Come on Rio! It is all you!" Bronk continued cheering. It did in fact seem to help.

"Bronk is right. I gotta take a chance" Rio mumbled out and send everyone a big smile when she turned to face her brother again "Get ready cause your little sister is about to win big".

Then she drew. She activated a new field spell card called "Land of frozen flames" which seems to be the card Rio had been hoping for. Aqua gate disappeared, and the field changed into a big frozen land with a giant ravine in the middle. Now both players could treat a water monster as two monsters when they xyz summoned. I hummed a little. It really did have a big risk considering both of them had water monsters. However, if Rio managed to defeat Shark in this round, there was nothing to worry about. Rio used her now level 5 zerofyne to xyz summon since it now counted as two. Soon, a new ice monster appeared on the field. Rio had Xyz summoned her "Ice princess Zereort" to the field in att mode. It was a rank 5 monster with 2500 att and 2100 def points. Rio activated her princess's special eff. By using one Ou, her princess took away all black ray lancers attack points.

"That is one way to shut down a powerful monster" Ray then uttered happily from the sidelines.

I nodded at that. This was not bad at all, but I still had a feeling Shark had been prepared for this. I was of course right when Rio attacked with her monster. Shark used the first effect of full armored xyz. By sending aero shark to the grave, he could prevent black ray lancer from being destroyed.

"Nice safe. But you still take damage" Rio pointed out, as Shark got send backwards.

He did manage to stay on his feet's though, but he did lose 2500 life points. He had only 500 left. Rio ended her turn with that.

"Rio almost got him down from the count" Cathy said stunned. The others couldn't believe she could go this far against Shark.

"Yeah, but she didn't defeat him" I replied and sighed "She will lose".

"Hu? How do you know that?" Yuma questioned in a puzzled tone.

"I know Shark. She didn't defeat him this round. That is gonna bite her in the end. You'll see" I replied slowly.

"I gotta admit, you really surprised me there, sis" Shark then suddenly said and smiled a little smile "Maybe I was wrong. Maybe you really are an amazing duelist".

"Oh, do you, do you... really mean that?" Rio replied in a stunned tone. She looked really happy. I on the other hand knew how this was going to end.

"Get real Rio! An amazing duelist. I don't think so!" Shark then shouted and started off his turn.

He drew and summoned "Drill barnacle" to the field in att mode. It was a level 3 water monster. Then he activated his face down card who was this spell "Xyz crown". He equips it on to black ray lancer. Now it was also treated as a level monster and it counted as 2 when Xyz summoned. Thanks to Rio's field spell, Shark's drill barnacle also counted as two monsters. Meaning he had 4 level 3 monsters on his field. Shark overlaid all 4 monsters to build the overlay network and xyz summon, the king of the deeps, "Shark Caesar". It was a rank 3 monster with 1800 att and 2000 def points. I didn't look all that impressive to be honest. Surprisingly, Shark attacked with that monster even though it was weaker. That until he revealed its eff. By using one Ou, it could increase its att points by the number of Ou attached to it multiplied with 1000. Since Shark Caesar had 3 Ou remaining, it gained 3000 att points. (1800-4800att)

"This duel only have one possible outcome Rio" Shark then said, "And that is me winning and you losing".

Then Shark attacked. The duel was over pretty quick after that. Rio didn't have anything to counter with and Shark Caesar was really strong. In the end Rio got send flying and lost all her life points. Shark had won the duel. '

The duel field changed back to the tennis course and we all assembled around Rio and Shark. Shark had at least been kind enough to go over and see if his sister was alright. Rio growled annoyed as she got up on her feet.

"You win again" she said slowly and snort "But next time you won't be so lucky onion boy". I rolled my eyes at that comment. Rio were still trying to tease him?

"Look, you are getting better. So, at least there is that" Shark then replied and shrugged. Rio snort and pointed raspberries at him.

"But still, if you think I am gonna become Yuma's girlfriend just because you say I should, you are crazy!" Rio then sneered at him. I hummed a little at that. At least we finally got to the topic of this stupid issue. Shark's eyes narrowed a little.

"Wait, did you say become Yuma's girlfriend? Why would I even think that?" he then questioned in a puzzled tone. I lifted my head up in a proud gesture. I knew Shark would never state something so silly as that.

"Hold on. All I said to Bronk was that Yuma is only duelists around who kinda can keep up with me" Shark explained and continued when I began coughing like hell "Expect for Zaira of course. Besides her and Yuma there is none that can keep up with me".

The others looked stunned at him. Bronk was staring, which made me wonder if he had been lovey dovey when he had been talking to Shark. Flip and Caswell both tilted their heads in confusion and bit their lip.

"So, then this was our misunderstanding?" Caswell questioned sacredly.

"Ahr we gotta hide! Quick!" Flip uttered as him and Caswell tried tip toeing out of here. I lifted an eye brow at that.

"Well this is embarrassing" Rio said and sighed deeply.

"Rio. That was an awesome duel. You and I should duel sometimes" Bronk then suddenly said and made Rio turn towards him.

"You and me?" she questioned.

"Yeah we can help each other get better and then maybe..." Bronk went silent as he pointed his fingers together in embarrassment. "...Maybe if you win, I will buy you to an ice cream".

"Sounds like a deal to me" Rio replied with a big smile "But now there is something I need to deal with. Now where are those two pests?!".

"Hiding up in that tree" I replied and kicked the tree trunk pretty hard. Flip and Caswell both fell down hitting their behind pretty hard. "Do you need help?".

"Nah I can handle this myself. No sweat!" Rio replied with a big smile as she turned towards Caswell and Flip. She cracked her knuckles in an angry matter "Guys, about that little rumor you started...".

Then she of course beat them up. Or I think she did. When all the commotion started, I decided to slip away in the shadows. Now that the duel was over, Shark and I could supposedly start on our conversation from before. Problem with that was, that I didn't want to. So, without starting a fight or explain anything to Shark, I decided to slip away through the shadows. Everyone was occupied with something else right now anyway. Or so I thought. As I entered the hallways, I could hear someone shout my name. I turned surprised around to see Ray standing there behind me. he was catching his breath.

"What's up Zaira chan? Why are you suddenly leaving so soon? Something the matter?" he asked. I bit my lip. How in the world did he notice?

"Want a hug? Or are we just skipping over to that part where you actually tells me what's the matter?" Ray pried innocently. "Don't lie and state it is nothing. I can see it differently".

I bit my lip. How was it Ray always knew when something was the matter with me. It was like the time at the beach or these million times he hugged me. How did he know? I sighed a little and recalled the dream from last night. The dream voice did state I should stay near Ray. Did that mean I could trust him too?

"I... I had a weird dream last night" I began and well told him everything the dream contained.

Or at least as much as I remember. Ray listened carefully. His face never lost that poker face he was clearly having on right now. When I was done, he hummed a little.

"So, the dream states you shall stay near me? That is pretty weird" He mused out and hummed again "Why do you think that is?".

"How should I know?!" I sneered back in an angry tone "I have no clue who is talking to me anyway. I guess it might have something to do with my memories...".

"Hmm yeah maybe" Ray said and shrugged "But does it really matter? I mean what is there to worry about? If your memories are returning, isn't that a good sign?".

"Well um... that is true, but..." I bit my lip again "They said I should treasure my time here. What does that even mean? I have a feeling something bad is happening".

"Oh, if that is the case. Then enjoy yourself" Ray just replied and gave me a casually hug. He pointed at my cheek with the other arm "You never back down. Aren't you strong? So, what is there to worry about? You dealt with every treat that had happened so far, right? That means you can just deal with it again".

"You are right!" I uttered stunned and pushed Ray's arm away "What Is there to worry about? If there comes any bad evil barians or whatever. I will just kick their butt. Thanks a lot Ray. I gotta run! I am gonna practice some dueling. See yer!".

Then I ran off as fast as I could.

Ray's p.o.v.

Ray looked after Zaira as she left the corridors, to god knows where. However, Ray was not even worried at all. Why should he when he was this close?

"Hmm, so her memories are returning hu?" Ray thought to himself and smirked "Well that would certainly make things easier. Do wonder who that voice was though? It could be her subconscious telling her something, but... Ray shrugged a little. It didn't really matter here now did it? Guess I might go prepare myself for that bad omen she was talking about. He-he. You do owe me a favor after all. Soon Zaira. Very soon will everything around you be revealed. That you can count on, little sister!

A,N: Well that was that. An interesting ending. Or so I hope. Hope you found this chapter interesting. As for the next one. The school festival is finally beginning. Ray also end up in a very uncomfortable situation since she owed Ray. Lol. That and there is a lot of romance and a bit jealousy in that chapter too. After those events, it is time for the main event of this season finale. I have the whole event with Sargasso done so just need the duel with Yuma and Vector here in the human world and I am ready to go. However hope you look forward to it.
