Normal p.o.v.

Astral was lying inside a blue sphere field, who was created by the numbers. After the battle with Mizar in the barian sphere field, Astral had retrieved into the key to get healed. The battle afterwards had been so intense, that it even managed to physically harm Astral. Astral groaned slightly, as his few injuries were taken care of by the numbers. His resolve however was left rather shaken. The over hundredth number card Mizar had summoned, was something, he never saw coming, and questions appeared in his mind. Something strange was clearly about to happen in the human world. Astral had known that when Mizar's galaxy eyes tachyon dragon had appeared. The battle with the two galaxy eyes had been so intense, that Astral had, for a moment, thought it was the end for all of them. For him, for Yuma and for Zaira. What puzzled Astral however, had been the behavior of Mizar doing that duel. Before Kite showed up, he had been rather hostile towards them. That was to be expected since they were his opponent, but the hesitated moves and glares towards Zaira had confused Astral a great deal. He didn't understand why he refused to battle Zaira inside the sphere field. He had enough confidence in himself and his skills, and Astral guessed Mizar easily could have defeated both of them. Zaira And Yuma in one duel, but surprisingly he didn't. Astral hummed a little. Whatever Mizar's agenda with Zaira is, it leaves me almost to believe he is either scared of facing her, or knows her from somewhere. I think it is the first one, since Mizar didn't show much recognition towards her, but I also could be mistaken. All I know is that the barians is about to make a critical move.

"Mistress! Oh Mistress please be okay" Astral could suddenly hear, and turned his attention to the voice.

Below Astral's sphere field, was another blue field with a certain girl inside. Beside it however, was a very worried and anxious Cy pacing back and forth, or floating back and forth the sphere field. The blue chained wolf was clearly impatient. Astral let out a sigh, and decided to stop the healing for now, and focus on calming down his now uneasy companion. His sphere disappeared, and Astral flew down beside Cy now.

"Cy, it is going to be alright. Zaira is going to be fine" Astral reassured the wolf "Besides your mistress has always been very assiduous".

Cy stopped it's pacing and looked at the ghost. Then he let out a little sigh and nodded deeply. His eyes fixated on the sphere beside him, where Zaira was present, but unconscious. After the accident in the ravine, both Shark, Zaira and Yuma had been injured and sent to the hospital. Or Yuma and Shark was. Zaira had with pure stubbornness, that time, gotten up her feet's and declared that she was not going to any hospital, since she didn't trust doctors the slightest. Astral had been able to calm her down by suggesting her getting healed in the key instead, which lead her to be here right now. Astral was not sure why he knew that, but Zaira was able to be healed by the key as well, which were quicker than normal hospital treatment for sure. Her injuries were almost healed up, but on mental basic, Zaira was not up and running, which was one of the reasons Cy was so worried. Her body was having a lot of fatigue. Both mentally and physically. Astral wondered what could drain her so much, but when he had asked Cy, the wolf had just replied with that he wasn't gonna talk on his Mistress behalf. Astral just had to wait for her to wake up, to ask her.

"I didn't believe my mistress foe, would be so intense" Cy then mused, and Astral realized Cy must be talking about Mizar "My mistress never takes so long to heal. I wish I could be with her, and protect her..".

"Your actions are noble 24, but that would just slow the process of the field, if you went in there too" Astral replied and looked up in the sky "We have to accept that the field the barians used, can have such intense powers. It effects the mind, spirit and body. One of the reasons, Zaira hasn't woken up I assume".

Cy didn't say anything for a long time. Astral wondered if the blue wolf were thinking some things through, but then it laid down on the airy ground, with its head at its paws.

"I will stay here and wait for my mistress" Cy said determined and stirred at sphere field. "You can go back to your healing now Astral. But I do wonder, if the sphere effects My Zaira's mind, spirit and body, then what about your Yuma..".

Astral went silence as well. It was true Yuma had been in the barian sphere field as well, and Astral had been feeling all sort of emotions from his partner, since he retreated in here. He knew Yuma was worried about him and Zaira, and wanted to protect them. Astral was just worried that Yuma might be too cautious now, which would not make them be able to defeat their current foe.

Barian's p.o.v.

Around the same time, in barian world.

".. And that is what happened" Mizar ended his story with and looked up at Dumon.

He was careful to not reveal himself too much. He was currently present inside the throne room and were giving Dumon his latest report. In some way. He was carefully leaving out a certain important part. A part he was not gonna tell Dumon. At least not yet. The gray barian hummed a little at that. His eyes were filled with confusion.

"Your dragon exploded the sphere field and sent you back to barian world, as you were dueling Kite Tenjo and Yuma Tsukumo? It is a little hard to believe my friend" Dumon then replied "I was sure I accounted for Tachyon's strength, when I made the spheres..".

Mizar shrugged a little. It was true that under normal circumstances the sphere field could surely handle Tachyon's strength, but this was not normal circumstances. It was far from it. Mizar was still progressing what actually happened himself. His Neo galaxy Tachyon dragon was about to emerge when.. She.. on some level had meddled. This girl, who's name was Zaira, had in some way given his dragon more strength. How it was possible, he didn't know. He just knew she had, as unbelievable as it had been. Mizar had felt it. Tachyon was his dragon, and he instantly could feel the difference in his beast's powers. Mizar clenched his fists. Who was this girl? Why did she resemble Her so much, but at the same time being so different from Her. So many facts fitted, and so many didn't. Mizar was sure She couldn't power up Tachyon like that. Or he was almost sure at that. It was not some..

"Mizar, is something the matter?" Dumon asked and made Mizar return to reality.

"Dumon, give me a second chance!" Mizar then said in a firm voice "Because of certain events, I was not able to fulfil my mission, and I am edging to finish my duel with Kite Tenjo, and retrieve the numbers from Yuma Tsukumo..".

"I am sorry Mizar, but that is not possible" Dumon replied and sighed deeply "I have yet made new sphere cubes, and I know you are not fond of using human puppets. I know it hurts your pride, but you have to have faith in Alito and Girag. Even though they failed many times, they are still our colleagues.. but did you find any clues on..".

"I haven't found anyone" Mizar replied quickly "I wanted to do that, after I finished my mission. Isn't saving barian world more important?".

Dumon didn't reply him on that, and Mizar decided it was time to leave. He didn't have anything else to report anyway, and the guilt of lying to his friend didn't make it better. As he wandered down the hallways, thoughts were running through his head. I cannot tell Dumon the truth just yet. I don't want to give him hope on a possible candidate, only to have that hope taken away, when it doesn't turn out to be the right one. The hours I spend in Dumon's room, that time when Nash and the others disappeared, is not something I want to repeat ever again! I will go back to earth right now to see for myself..

"Lord Mizar, please wait up!". Mizar stopped up and turned surprised around to see one of the servants, a female standing beside him.

She was catching her breath. She was dressed in simple red tunic and black pants and common sandals. Her yellow short hair and blue eyes had been the first thing Mizar had noticed, and it made his eyes narrow. He had no idea who this barian humanoid was.

"Who are you?" he asked in a cold tone "And what do you want?".

"Chillia, my lord. My name is Chillia" she replied quickly and bowed "One of the cleaning servants in here, but I didn't think you would remember me. I remember you though my lord. You deemed us with your presence at our home once".

"That I don't remember" Mizar mused coldly.

He wondered if that had been one of his duties in the past. As in visiting the people, although that had mostly been Nash's job in the past. Then he shrugged. Not that it mattered.

"What do you want? I am kinda in a hurry here" he sneered out.

"I.. I am sorry to bother you my lord, but you see, I was clearing the throne room, from the shadows, and couldn't help listening.." Chillia said rather quickly and bit her lip a little "And I.. I just had to know.. Why were you lying to Lord Dumon just now?".

At that Mizar actually froze a little. His eyes widened as he stared at the female in front of him. He had been trying so hard to avoid getting caught.

"I don't know what you are talking about!" he then replied in a firm voice and hoped that scared her enough away.

Who did she think she was?! Instead however, the woman actually began chuckling darkly, and Mizar hissed angrily. This was not happening this here. He was not getting into blackmailing by a servant!

"You are going on earth to fetch her, aren't you?" she then said and smiled a big smile "I just knew she was alive. Our empress..".

"Watch what you are saying!" Mizar hissed "Or someone would meet my dragon. Tachyon hasn't eaten yet". He was holding up the card in front of her now.

"Oh, I.. No, no my lord, you don't understand, I am on your side!" The female quickly uttered in defense and bowed her head "I completely understand your decision, and won't tell any. I promise! Please spare me!". Mizar eyes narrowed.

"Prove it!" he sneered firmly "I give you 1 minute. If you don't show me any proof, Tachyon will blast..".

Mizar stopped mid sentence, when Chillia was holding both hands up in the air. One symbol in each of them, although one of them were fading slightly. Mizar's eyes widened as well. He was staring at the faded mark.

"You were once one of my servants" Mizar mused slowly and took Tachyon's card away from her. The number 107 had once been edged in the palm of her hand.

"That I was, but got transferred a century ago" Chillia confirmed and smiled "But I do understand, if you don't remember me my lord. You are so busy protecting our world and us in general from Astral world. It is our job to serve..".

"Oh, you are one of them" Mizar snort out and sighed "I remember now. That assignment.. and Vector..! It is true, I visited you, and so on. Your marks reveals everything. So what do you want?!".

Chillia froze a little at the tone in his voice, but then she bowed her head deep down to the floor.

"We are waiting lord Mizar. That is all. For their return. For Her to return. I just wanted to confirm my suspicion" she then said/pledged him "Please lord Mizar. Tell me, just give me a little hope. When I heard your conversation I..".

"You heard nothing, and I didn't tell you anything!" Mizar sneered and sent her a cold glare. Then he turned his back to her "Truth to be told, I don't know anything myself as of yet. That is why, I have to leave, and you are keeping me from it".

"My apologies my lord. I will not keep you any longer" Chillia apologies and bowed.

"Your hand!" Mizar just said firmly and Chillia were surprisingly holding up her left hand, and groaned slightly as Mizar reshaped the mark in her hand.The yellow barian lord hummed at that "I decided rehire you, until your true empress returns. Your loyalty to me are noted".

Chillia nodded and bowed deeply.

"Call me, if ever needed Lord Mizar" she said and teleported away. Mizar decided to do the same thing.

Cy's p.o.v.

Time skip.

Cy roared concerned inside its card, as the wolf watched the scene happening in front of him. He was of course near his Mistress, as he always was, but the blue wolf couldn't help itself. He felt a little annoyed over what was happening around them. Right now his mistress was inside the hospital where Shark and Yuma was stationed, after their accident in the ravine. They were surrounded by friends and family. Or Yuma was. He and Zaira, was right being scolded by Kairi, Yuma's big sister, because of the recent event, but Cy didn't find that fair. How could it? It was not like his Mistress had jumped into the ravine on purpose. If Cy had its opinion, he would rush out there and at least give Kairi a big scare, maybe scratch his claws a tiny bit too to prove a point. No one should threaten his Mistress! But alas, even though Cy had defended that he was not gonna eat her, his Zaira didn't want him to do that. Cy honored his mistress wishes, even though he didn't understand them at all. Why couldn't he attack this angry human? She would stop screaming if he did.

"I knew you two could be irresponsible, but even I never thought you could be so reckless that you landed yourself in the hospital Yuma. And you Zaira, you should have taken better care of him. You are his big sister after all" Kairi scolded angrily. She turned towards the curtain where Shark's bed was behind, but not visible to the naked eyes. "And not just you Yuma, you dragged Zaira's delinquent of a boyfriend into this too. You two could have been badly hurt. The doctors says neither of you have any seriously injuries, so you can count yourself lucky. Still that doesn't excuse your foolish behavior..".

"Well excuse me" Rio then suddenly interrupted and appeared from behind the curtain. Cy had never been so happy to see her in his entire life "My brother is trying to rest, so I will appreciate it if you could keep it down in here".

"Oh of course sorry" Kairi apologies sheepishly.

Cy hear her mumble something about work, and that Zaira and Yuma should stay out of trouble. Then she finally left the hospital. Cy and the others sighed relieved.

"Yuma, your sister can strike fear into the heart of a grizzly bear" Ray then said and shuttered.

Cy hummed thoughtfully. At least Ray hadn't said wolf. She could never scare him. The wolf could hear how they commented that Yuma and Kairi sure was different, which all made them laugh. All except Zaira. Cy was very worried. He was still very worried. His Mistress was not completely healed up yet, but she had to get out of the key and be there when Kairi arrived, or there would be trouble. Right now she just pretended to be fine, but the bruises under her skin told a different story.

"Mistress, Mistress, come! Back to the key with you" Cy said in their mind link.

"I am fine.." Zaira responded stubbornly "I don't need more..".

"Zaira are you okay?" Shark's voice rang through the room, and made everyone silent.

Rio had apparently pulled away the curtains, and Cy could see how her boyfriend now were staring worriedly at her. He was sitting in bed, and had been reading a book. Zaira groaned a little, then she looked proudly up in the air.

"I am fine, really" was her responds. Cy knew that was not true.

"Well if Zaira says she is fine, I guess she is" Yuma then proclaimed a little halfhearted. Cy snort a little. Yuma really weren't mentally fine either here.

"Yeah and that is of course the right words for a wimp!" Shark then snort and looked at Zaira again. Cy could see the concern in his eyes. "Miss stubborn, if you say you are fine, then take a few steps in here. That might prove me wrong..".

Zaira snort and send him a cold look, but she did as he asked. She took some steps over to the other side of the room and back again. It went fine over to the other side, but on the way back, she stumbled over.. maybe her own footsteps.. Cy was not sure, and were about to hit the ground, hadn't it been for Ray, and his quick reflexes.

"Ah Zaira chan, what is wrong?" Ray questioned worriedly "Is there something I can do? Just tell me. I will do anything!". Zaira groaned again.

"The key" she then whispered "I need to retrieve inside of it..".

"You heard her Yuma. The key!" Shark sneered. Yuma flew up from the bed.

"Ah, um yes. I am on it" he said and soon the key was tangling in front Zaira. Cy sighed relieved. Soon his mistress would get the rest she deserved again.

"Reginald I.. I am sorry" Zaira whispered "I wanted to be with you..".

"Don't sweat it! Now go inside that key, and don't come back until you have at least some color in those cheeks, got that!" Shark replied in a firm tone. Zaira sent him a weak smile, before she disappeared into it, and Cy of course followed.

That had properly been the right call, because his mistress was extremely tired when she entered the key, and Cy had been quick to bring her to the ship in here. Soon Zaira was placed into the blue sphere field by Astral himself. Cy was looking worriedly from the sideline. He didn't like see his mistress in pain.

"Zaira, Zaira please calm down!" Astral said in a worried tone, as Cy could see Zaira actually fighting him. Didn't she want to be healed here? Should Cy rescue her?

"No I.. Astral I.. I need to tell you something" Zaira uttered "You can't put me to sleep yet. Not yet. I need to tell you. I just need to!".

Astral and Cy looked stunned at her. Cy was a little unsure what was going on here. Astral encouraged her to go on.

"The guilt is eating me up. I have a rank up magic card" Zaira then told him, and Cy finally knew what his mistress problem was.

She had been guilty over not telling Astral about the duel in the factory with number 87. Cy of course added in his part of the story, as Zaira continued her story, and told him about everything that had happened.

"I am sorry Astral. I feel like I betrayed you. I have a rank up magic card. Just like the barians.." Zaira ended and few tears had shown in the corner of her eyes.

"It is okay Zaira. It is okay, you have not betrayed me. You don't need to feel guilty" Astral said and send her a reassuring smile "We are best friends. Why should you betray me? Your card is different that barian's force too. But I am happy you told me. You are such a good friend. Now relax and let the field heal you".

"Mizar saw my card" Zaira mumbled slowly as she calmed down. She yawned a little too. "Just thought I you should know".

Cy could see how her mistress, who once again went unconscious, got placed down into the sphere field by Astral. Concern was written in the Astral prince's eyes though, as he once again was back at Cy's side, and let the field do its work on Zaira.

"I do not understand. Why would Zaira think I would feel betrayed since she had acquired a rank up magic card herself?" Astral mused in a confused tone "She is my best friend, and with this spell, she might rise up to the barians level".

"Human logic is sometimes very strange Astral" Cy then said and shook his head "My mistress clearly believes that it is wrong to have those card in her deck, because is against Astral world's rule to have something resembling barian world. Your father is a prime example of that. He wanted to kill my Mistress because she was different".

"Oh yes, my father's unreasonable rule" Astral mused in a cold tone and sighed "I still don't understand why he wanted Zaira to die. You 24 are holding on to Zaira's memories, but don't you hold any of yourself? From where you and Zaira came from before arriving at Astral world?". Cy instantly shook his head.

"My memories are as blurry as my mistress" he replied "I think we are connected. Every time my mistress memories unlocks, mine does as well, but still. I don't have any other memories before Astral world. However I know, Mistress and I always have been together. The affections of love and kindness from my Mistress, will never disappear. I love my Mistress very deeply". Astral hummed at that.

"Observation extra Nb 2. Affections for one of another can bring humans and monsters to foolish, maybe even illogical decisions. Guilt can eat one up, until you tell people the truth, while loving affections can create true bonds between one another. That is very fascinating indeed".

Cy just sweat dropped at that and decided to leave Astral alone with his observations. He just hoped his mistress would get better soon.

Shark's p.o.v.

Time skip.

Shark sneered for surely the millionth time already. Every time Yuma was letting out a sigh, It drove Shark nuts. They were having a simple dinner, in their hospital room, but Yuma were sighing over almost every bite. Shark knew Yuma was down over the duel. He had been there himself. He had seen how fierce and powerful Mizar and his dragon had been, and that duel had shaken Yuma deeply. Shark could almost taste it. The fear who was radiating from Yuma right now, made Shark rather agitated.

"What the hell is wrong with him?!" Shark mused to himself as he heard Yuma sigh again.

However that was not the only episode that happened. Late at night Shark had been brutally awaken by Yuma, who had been screaming in his sleep. He have had a nightmare, but that had been the last straw. Shark couldn't take it anymore. Where was his friend Yuma, who was never giving up or afraid to try anything. Since the battle with Mizar, his friend had turned into a quitting coward, and Shark hated it.

"You are letting your fear take complete control of you. Even in your sleep!" Shark yelled and pulled away the curtain that divided the two beds in here. He was glaring angrily at Yuma. "I can't take it anymore. Snap out of it already! I mean it Yuma..!".

"Quiet down! Do you loud mouths have any idea what time it is?!" an angry nurse suddenly shouted.

She was staring angrily at them at the doorstep. Yuma and Shark both sweat dropped by that and climbed to bed without so much fuss.

Time skip. The next day.

Shark was resting in his hospital room, and was reading in that book he had begun on last time. There were not much you could do in a hospital after all. Yuma was out getting a checkup, which Shark was grateful for. Yuma's depressed nature still annoyed him big time. He turned his attention over to Yuma's bed, and noticed the golden key necklace lying on the bed. Shark's eyes narrowed. There were something wrong with it. He was actually sure it was glowing. He had just thought that, when the key actually lifted itself up in the air, and a light beam shut out of it. The beam were bouncing around in the room, before it hit the ground beside Shark's bed. Shark groaned and closed his eyes for a minute, before he turned his curious gaze at the floor. His eyes widened as he found Zaira groaning down there.

"Geez and here I thought we got better in controlling that thing" she said and got up on her feet's, while stretching her muscles.

"Zaira, you okay?!" Shark asked.

He was still a little stunned that his girlfriend had popped out of the key just now. Zaira turned surprised around, and looked at him. It was like she first now had noticed he was there. A happy smile appeared on her lips and she grabbed around Shark and pulled him into a hug.

"Oh Shark boy you are okay" she uttered happily "I knew you were hospitalized and all that, but never found out for myself if you truly was okay".

Shark groaned slightly annoyed at that. Zaira could be as annoying as Yuma when she was worried about anyone. He managed to come free from this affectionate hug.

"I am fine! Geez do you have to strangle me to death here" Shark complained and turned his slightly embarrassed face away from her "I swear you are worse than Yuma sometimes". At that Zaira chuckled, and sat down on the bed edge.

"Should I take this as a compliment?" she asked and sent him a cheesy grin. But then she got serious again. Her gaze wandered over to Yuma's empty bed. "As you can see I am fine. The key healed me up big time. It even released all the stress I was feeling. However there is still one problem remaining Reginald".

"Let me guess. Yuma!" Shark mused out in a cold tone "I tell you, if he sent me one of those depressed sighs again, we don't have to worry about the barians making a move. I would have killed him already. What a wimp". Zaira chuckled at that.

"You really don't mean that Reginald. I know you" she replied but then sighed herself "But you are right about Yuma. If he hasn't gotten over Mizar and his dragon yet, we need to act. Astral says the barians might make a critical move".

"So what do we do? What's the plan?" Shark questioned and felt Zaira's hand in his. A kiss got surprisingly planted on his forehead.

"Not we Reginald. You!" she then responded playfully and placed the key in his hand "I am not qualified for this assignment. After all they tamed the wolf. We need the ferocity of a shark in this. Are you with me?".

Shark chuckled at that, and leaned in sealing their lips in a real kiss this time. Then he pulled back and sent her a smile.

"Of course Miss Stubborn. Of course".

Yuma's p.o.v.

Time skip.

Yuma was staring at the letter. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Yuma had just returned back to his room after the check ups were done, and found Shark and his key missing inside the room. In its place was this letter, and its words horrified Yuma a great deal.

Yuma!

I have taken your little necklace.

If you want it back, you'll have to duel me for it.

I'll be waiting for you on the roof.

Come before I stumble your little key to pieces!

Yuma had of course afterwards, rushed up on the hospitals room, only to find Shark there. Yuma still couldn't believe Shark had stolen his key. It was like him being a bully all over again. The sky was covered in black clouds, and lighting could be seen and heard in the background. Shark sent Yuma a cold glare.

"You showed up. Good" he then said. Yuma looked puzzled at him.

"What's the point of doing this Shark? Why did you take my golden key?" Yuma then asked him. Shark snort and pulled it out of the pocket in his jacket.

"That's not important Yuma. All that matters now is that I have it, and you are never gonna get it back. Unless you beat me" Shark then proclaimed and smirked evilly. Then he activated his duel disk and gazer. Yuma hesitantly did the same thing.

"You better be at the top of your game Yuma" Shark then told him "Because I can promise you that in this duel, I won't hold back".

Yuma: 4000 Lp's.

Shark: 4000 Lp's.

Yuma started off this duel and drew. However, the only thing he did, was placing a monster facedown, and end his turn. I won't take any chances. It is a good thing I have Gogogo golem on the field to protect me.

"You can take it from here Shark" Yuma now told his opponent. Shark looked at him with disbelief written in his eyes.

"That's it? One lousy move" Shark then said and sent Yuma an angry glare "You are not trying to win. You just scared of losing!".

"There is nothing wrong with playing it safe Shark" Yuma yelled back at him.

"I can't believe how pathetic you have become!" Shark sneered and tossed the necklace over to Yuma. It landed on the ground beside him. "Here! Without Astral or Zaira to help you, you are no threat at all. So team up with them if you have to".

Yuma looked stunned at him, but the did bow down and pick up the key. He was staring concerned at it, as the rain began falling down from the sky. Shark had in the meantime begun his move and drew. However, before he did anything, he looked over at Yuma. Even though he was wearing the key, Astral or Zaira didn't seem to appear. At that Shark chuckled evilly.

"What's that? Astral isn't coming to save you? Looks like he has finally realized what a loser you are. Ha-Ha" he then said and grinned.

Shark started of his move by playing the spell "Fish spawn". By the price of 1000 life points, Shark could summon two fish spawn tokens. He tributed both of them right away, to summon his level 9 monster "Big whale". As it was summoned, Yuma's facedown monster, Gogogo golem, is revealed in face up defense position. But that was not all it did. Shark could also summon a level 4 or less water attribute monster from his hand. He special summons "Drill barnacle" who was a level 3 monster.

"Unlike your weak strategy. I am going big and bold Yuma!" Shark told him. Then he activated the spell "Tri-slice". With it he could tribute his whale to special summon three level 3 monsters from his deck.

"I hope you like 'starfish', cause here comes three of them" Shark proclaimed and summoned three copies of the named monster.

"What are you about to do?" Yuma questioned worriedly.

"You are about to find out loser" Shark responded and overlaid 2 of his three starfish.

He Xyz summoned "Submersible carrier aero shark". Then he overlaid drill barnacle and his last starfish to Xyz summon "Black ray lancer". Yuma looked horrified.

"Great. One Xyz monster is bad enough, but I have to go up against two of them" he replied in a rather scared tone. Shark smirked at that.

"You got that right, but there is more Yuma. A lot more!" he then said and activated Aero shark's eff.

By using one Ou, Yuma would take 400 points of damage for every card in his hand. Shark had two, so Yuma got hit with 800 points of damage. Yuma hit the ground pretty hard, as torpedoes from Aero shark had hit him, but Shark was not letting up. He continued his move by activating Black Ray lancer's eff. By using one Ou, he could negate Yuma's golem's eff. Now it could be destroyed right away.

"This is what playing it safe gets you!" Shark sneered as lightning exploded behind him.

He sent Yuma a cold glare and made his monsters attack. Aero shark destroyed Gogogo golem and black ray lancer followed right after, making a direct attack on Yuma. Yuma once again got sent flying to the ground, and lost 2100 life points in the process. He had only 1100 points remaining.

"You have taken enough punishment for one turn. It is your move" Shark proclaimed as Yuma tried to get up from the ground. "Come on! Get up on your feet or is this duel too much for you!".

Yuma sent him an annoyed glare as he was holding his hand over his deck. He drew.

"No, No it is not!" he then exclaimed and looked at the cards in his hand. I have to take on two Xyz monsters, but since my only monster was destroyed, I am starting from scratch. He looked at his hand again.

"I have decided to go big this time" he then said and summoned "Gogogo giant" from his hand in att mode. It was having 2000 att points.

"Alright. You are starting to put up a fight" Shark said and smiled.

Yuma looked over at Shark's field. He was waging his options. Gogogo giant has 2000 att points. It is powerful enough to take out Aero shark, but it is differently not enough to beat black ray lancer. Yuma hummed at that. In that case, there was only one thing he could do. He activated his giant's eff. Since he summoned his giant, he could also summon "Gogogo golem" from his grave in def mode. But since he used that effect, his giant had to switch into def mode. Yuma however was not done yet. He activated the spell "Gogogo talisman" from his hand. Since Yuma only controls Gogogo monsters on his field, his talisman protects his monster from being destroyed once per battle, and since he had more than 2 Gogogo monsters, effect couldn't damage him either.

"I can't deal any damage this turn, but at least I am well shielded from your Aero sharks torpedoes" Yuma told Shark, and with that he ended his turn.

"Those moves won't save you!" Shark sneered out and sent Yuma an angry look "Nothing will, because you are a miserable coward. You will never win another duel, cause you are letting your fears rule you!".

Shark's p.o.v.

Shark sneered angrily as Yuma was hiding sacredly behind those two monsters. He wasn't really trying to fight. He was just scared of losing. If this keeps up, Yuma would not be ready in the future. Shark sneered angrily. His friend really had turned into a miserable coward. Zaira had told him everything. She had told him about the nightmare they shared, and how Mizar's dragon had looked an awful lot like it. She had told him about Yuma's dreadful fear of losing Astral and herself, but that was why he needed to face his fear and fight back! Nothing would chance if he didn't! Shark was not letting him give up now, even if that means he has to force Yuma to fight. It was his turn and he drew!

"Time to crush you!" he shouted and looked at his hand.

He started off his move by summoning "Panther shark". It was a level 5, but since Yuma had two or more monsters on the field, he summon it without tribute. Since he controls panther shark, he could special summon eagle shark from his hand. Shark of course overlaid these two level 5 monsters to Xyz summon "Shark fortress". It was a rank 5 monster with 2400 att points. Yuma looked horrified at it.

"That gives him three Xyz monsters on his field" he uttered scarily.

"Oh and it is gonna get worse Yuma" Shark told him and activated the equip spell "Sharkify" and equipped it onto his black ray lancer.

Black ray lancer was now a shark monster and it's att rose with 400 points. (2100-2500) Then Shark used an Ou on black shark lancer and it once again negated Yuma's golem's eff.

"Coward!" Shark now shouted and pointed fingers as Yuma "You deserve everything that's about to happen to you".

Then he made his Aero shark attack Yuma's giant. However it survived the attack because of Yuma's stupid talisman. Shark attacked with his Black shark lancer, and this turn he destroyed Yuma's giant. Shark was not done yet. His shark fortress also attacked. Its target was Gogogo golem. Once again Yuma's talisman protected Yuma's golem from being destroyed.

"I survived all three attacks" Yuma uttered happily, but Shark corrected him.

"I am not done!" He told Yuma "Didn't I say I wouldn't hold back. I set all this up as part of my strategy. By using one Ou, my shark fortress can use it's special eff, and give one of my other shark monsters an extra attack, so I am coming for you Yuma".

Shark could see the horror on Yuma's face as shark fortress used up an Ou and made Aero shark attack again. It attacked and destroyed Yuma's golem, and since Yuma didn't have anymore Gogogo monsters, he could also say goodbye to his talisman.

"You are defenseless now" Shark proclaimed and made his fortress use up a second Ou. It made Black shark lancer attack again "Black shark lancer attack Yuma directly! Fire on my command!".

Yuma's p.o.v.

Yuma looked rather shocked as Shark's monster was about to attack him directly and thereby erase his remaining life points. If this keeps up, he would lose! This is like having the same bad dream, over and over. I am gonna lose the duel, and there is nothing I can do! It is just like my battle with Mizar, and there I couldn't protect Astral and Zaira then, and now I cannot even protect myself. No matter how hard I try, I can't keep from losing. Yuma fell devastated to the ground now. He was lying on his knees, looking at the ground. He couldn't believe he was about to lose. Maybe Shark is right! I have been playing it too safe. All this time I have been so scared of losing, that I stopped really trying to win!

"I have to stop hiding behind my cards! I wanna try to high five the sky again together with Astral and my friends!" Yuma then shouted and looked determined at Shark. He had just given the order to make Black shark lancer attack.

"That is exactly what I have been waiting to hear you say Yuma" a voice now said behind him, and Astral now appeared in front of him. Yuma looked stunned at him.

"I.. I thought I never see you again" Yuma uttered and sniffed.

"We are a team, but we cannot be effective unless we duel without fear. If we battle boldly, we truly can high five the sky" Astral now told him "Now summon Gagaga gardna!".

Yuma looked at his hand, and noticed instantly the monster in his hand. Since he was attacked directly, he could summon this monster to the field in att mode from his hand. Furthermore if he discarded a card from his hand, this monster could not be destroyed by battle, which was something Yuma of course did.

"Your gardna won't be destroyed, but you will still take major damage Yuma" Shark told him as his monster collided with Gagaga gardna.

Yuma let out a scream as he once again was sent flying to the ground. He was only having 100 life points left.

"With that I end my turn" Shark said and did just that.

"You can still win" Astral told Yuma. Yuma nodded. He got up on his feet's once again and were ready to face Shark in the duel.

"I know my chances doesn't look too good, but when we are working as a team, nothing can ever stop us" Yuma said and smiling happily.

"Exactly" Astral replied.

Both of them didn't notice Shark smiling at that too. Yuma drew and started of his move. Astral had told him, they now had what they needed to win, and Yuma of course believed him. He summoned "Ganbara knight" to his field. He overlaid his Gagaga gardna and Ganbara knight to xyz summon "Heroic champion Excalibur" who was rank 4 with 2000 att points.

"That's more like it" Shark mused and smirked.

Yuma continued his move by equipping the spell he just drew. The equip spell "Magnum shield" which he of course placed on his xyz monster. With it Excalibur's def points were added to its att points. He was now having 4000 att points.

"Only 4000 points. Please. That's clearly not enough to win this duel" Shark proclaimed and chuckled darkly.

Yuma was of course not done. By using all of Excalibur's Ou, his att doubled this turn. (4000-8000) Yuma attacked Shark's fortress. It of course got destroyed and sent Shark flying through the air now. His life points hit zero, but Yuma was sure he saw a happy grin on his face as he hit the wet ground. Yuma had won the duel.

"Shark!".

Zaira's voice rang through the air as she, at least in Yuma's eyes, popped out from nowhere, and were now standing beside Shark. Yuma had a hunch however that she had been here, watching the duel from afar. His sister was like that. However that didn't mean Yuma wasn't worried about Shark.

"Shark, are you okay?" Yuma questioned and rushed over to the purple haired male as well. Shark groaned annoyed and refused to take anybody's help in getting up.

"I am fine" he sneered and took of his gazer. He turned his back to everyone.

"Thank you. Your challenge was exactly what Yuma needed. You helped him to regain his fighting spirit. Just like Zaira said you would. I am grateful" Astral said.

"Hey don't thank me. I only challenged Yuma, because he annoyed me" Shark replied and snort. "If you need to thank someone, Zaira was the one coming up with this plan. Send your gratitude's to her". Zaira growled annoyed.

"What? I only did this, because if I didn't Yuma would be all depressed, and I have to hear on his complains. Do you know how annoying they are?" she then uttered.

"Tell me about it" Shark sneered and both their hands intervened.

"And yet, You two clearly tried to help Yuma overcome his fear" Astral pointed out.

"No, that is ridiculous" Zaira replied firmly and sent them a glare. Yuma was looking at them with tear filled eyes now.

"Shark, Zaira thank you. You two are true friends" he then uttered.

"Look don't get all emotional or else!" Shark threatened "You annoyed me and Zaira enough for one day. Take a hike".

"But I.." Yuma tried saying but was interrupted as Shark pushed him away. "You two are sure stubborn Shark and Zaira. Come here..". He tried to hug them.

"No, leave us alone!" Zaira and Shark yelled in unison.

"Not until you leave me alone first" Yuma proclaimed and tried to get a friendly hug.

"Observation Nb 22. People express their friendship in many different ways. Some do it quite loudly" Astral then said with a smile as he watched those three have their way of friendship right in front of him. Then he turned his gaze to the other hospital roof where Kite and Orbital was "While others speak volume with their silence. I think I prefer that one". Yuma sneered annoyed as Shark and Zaira dodged him.

"Ahr you two, don't be like that. Come here, let's hug it out!" he then uttered and managed to get a hang on Shark. He was not pleased.

"Get away from me Yuma. I mean it! You are ruining my treats" Shark sneered.

"Ruining your treats, you can't ruin polyester" Yuma said in confused tone.

"Did you say polyester?!" Shark growled angrily.

A,N: Well that was that chapter. I found it funny. Especially at the ending lol. Hope you did notice that this chapter was a little different than usual. Lol. Don't worry the next chapter will be like the usually. It is the part with Alito and Yuma's barian duel. Can't actually decide if I should add the whole duel in one chapter or split it, but you'll see. Zaira is having some interesting company and saving. In some way lol. Hope that sounds interesting.
