Normal p.o.v.

At the other side of Sargasso was Dumon and Shark watching Yuma's struggle against Vector. Dumon couldn't understand why this Yuma were so important to everyone here. He even questioned if his princess believed in him as well. Dumon's eyes wandered to the sphere field behind him. Zaira was still unconscious inside and it worried the grey barian a lot. After all Astral and Yuma had broken down their Dark Zexal, and Astral seemed to be free from Vector's influence, so why wasn't Zaira conscious as well? Dumon wondered if it had something to with Astral being severally weakened. His gaze turned towards Reginald Kastle. The purple haired boy were filled with as much hope as Yuma and it puzzled Dumon deeply.

"Your friend managed to survive, but he will not be next turn" the grey barian then said as he looked at the screen with Yuma and Vector's duel. Then he turned his gaze to Shark once again "Still, for some reason, you believe he would win".

"Yes I do" Shark replied in a firm voice "And so does Zaira".

"Hmm why do you believe that? Tell me why?" Dumon questioned rather puzzled.

"Because we have both seen Yuma duel and he never gives up!" Shark then shouted fiercely "Your friend is in for a rude awakening!".

Dumon's eyes widened at that. An almost longing feeling entered his chest. Those words. This fierceness and determination regarding his friends. Dumon had only felt this way around one certain person, and he were almost tempted to believe that Reginald Kastle was... Nash?! No it can't be! He disappeared years ago. Maybe it is the same trick as when I saw Zaira in the crystal. Yeah that must be it. Reginald Kastle can't be Nash!

At Kite and Mizar's end, they were also following Yuma's duel intensely. But it was more Mizar than Kite surprisingly. Mizer was honorable and fierce. He was a prideful man and therefore he felt Vector's tactics despicable. To him winning a duel was when you gave it your all and, if it comes down to it, lose with honor. Kinda like Girag and Alito had done to the bitter end, although he was had much more skill and strategies than those two brutes, and he was clearly not gonna lose to Kite Tenjo here. He was the best Galaxy user!

"You seem a little distracted" Kite then said and got Mizar out of his daydream.

"Aren't you worried about your friend?" Mizar questioned slowly. He had after all been staring at the screen for a while now and it puzzled him that Kite was so calm.

"Why should I worry? I am not the one who is going up against Yuma!" Kite then almost shouted back at him. "The one who should be worried, is Vector!". Mizar looked stunned at him. How could he have such faith and hope in friend?!

Zaira's p.o.v.

I was not sure how I felt here as I watched the duels unfold. On one hand I was happy. Astral was no longer influenced by Vector, Yuma had managed to hold on this long on his own against Vector, and they were no longer in dark zexal form. On the other hand, dread was also filling me. After all, Astral was unable to move or duel at the moment, Yuma was down to 25 life points and he had only one card in his deck left. He had no cards in his hands either. It was really a dire situation for him. But even so Yuma was not giving up, meaning that the others weren't giving up either and that included me. Yuma had that stubbornness and hopeful exterior around him. Something that made people believe in him. I should be the one to tell. Yuma had literally been there for me through thick and thin. He tried to reunite me and my brother. (That Vector supposedly turned out to be him, was not Yuma's fault) He made me try to see the positive in life, like he had done with so many others. A smile appeared on my lips as I heard both Kite and Shark's speeches about Yuma. I was even thrilled Shark believed that I was also on Yuma's side. He was the best boyfriend ever! They both believed in hope and had faith in Yuma. Speaking of hope it reminded me about this stranger and that I shouldn't forget. Something with that hope could create a miracle or something. I wondered what that was about, but I knew one thing. If someone could create a miracle it would be Yuma.

Right now Cy and I was actually at Shark's dueling field, not that Shark couldn't handle himself at Dumon, but I wanted to get back to my body who was still locked inside the sphere field. I was getting drained to say the least. No wonder people state that Astral projection was dangerous. I heard rumors about people losing contact with their soul and this must be it. When people souls doesn't return to their body. It made me shiver a little. I didn't want to stay a ghost and worst of all, my body become one of these zombies I saw once, when Kite took ones soul as number hunter. I pushed angrily at the barrier and nothing happened of course. That made me curse annoyed. Damn Dumon and his stupid barrier! Sure this was apparently there to keep me safe and make everyone believe I was asleep. I even believe it was cancelling out Astral powers, which surely was meant against Astral, but since I was in Astral form and using that form of power, I also couldn't enter my own body. Even worse, nobody could see me, besides Astral and Yuma, since the barians was of the opposite powers. Or so did I believe. It is not like a manual follows with these kind of powers. That could be handy. I hissed angrily again and tossed myself at the sphere.

"Mistress, please stop. It doesn't do any good. Our power can't enter the sphere and you will only hurt yourself" Cy said in a worried but knowingly voice. I hissed angrily and turned towards the blue wolf.

"Oh yeah? Like you are an expert all of the sudden" I yelled "I don't see you try and destroy it and...". Cy's wolfy head was rubbing against my head now in a kind gesture. I couldn't keep myself from letting out a little cry.

"I know it is frustrating mistress, but don't let your anger out on me. I am on your side" The wolf advised, and I sighed deeply.

"I am sorry Cy. You are of course right. I just wish there were something I could do to help. I feel so useless" I admitted and sighed again.

After all, all I had done here was getting myself kidnapped and got myself in this predicament. The others were fighting to free me and beat the heck out of the barians, while I was here as a ghost, doing nothing at all. It wasn't fair!

"Mistress. Just believe" Cy then suggested and nuzzled my cheek "There is great power in believing in hope".

My eyes widened surprised at that. Cy's words reminded me of that stranger in the darkness. Who was he? I was about to say something about that when I heard it. A voice. A cry out for... I was not sure what actually. Maybe it was a cry for help or a cry for hope. Maybe it wasn't even a cry. All I knew was that my soul, mind and body suddenly was filled with this knowledge, and for some reason I knew what to do. I also didn't think twice about it, even though nothing of it made any rational sense. Cy was looking at me with a weird expression. He wasn't surprised or afraid or anything. He was just standing there dutifully, but I could have sworn I saw a glimpse of proudness in his eyes. Then I shook my head. It really didn't matter right now. All that mattered was helping Yuma and Astral.

"Let's go Cy" I said and flew over towards their dueling field.

Astral's p.o.v.

In the meantime.

Astral had never in his life felt so weak. It had been close, a couple of times, doing all the duels Yuma and he have had in the past, but none so agonizing as this one. Now he understood his father's words with that the barian's power were the opposite of theirs. The darkness Vector had used on him, had literally drained him in ways he never thought could be possible. Astral was actually surprised he was able to move at all, considering his current condition, and it didn't help that he was flashing in and out, as the duel was reaching his peek. He was still surprised that Yuma had been able to hold out this long against Vector. Yuma was truly an amazing person. Even with all the odds stacked against him, Yuma still didn't give up. That was something he really admired in the boy. Astral was nothing like that. He was a logical being filled with knowledge, even though his lack of past memories, but Yuma, and in some way Zaira, had shown him the good things about life. The simple things like eating, having fun and enjoying life, which made Astral realize that there was more to life than gathering the numbers and remember the purpose that he was here for. He had found an everlasting friendship with those two and Astral just didn't want to lose that. However, now that they were in this dire situation, Astral truly didn't know what to do. After all Yuma had only 25 life points remaining and one card in his deck. Astral knew that it couldn't be any other card than 'limited barian's force', and what good could that card do in a duel like this?

"Don't give up hope so quickly Astral" a voice suddenly said and made Astral turn surprised towards it, finding Zaira in Astral form beside him.

"Zaira?!" Astral manage to say "No you shouldn't be here and especially not in Astral projection. I have told you time and time again how dangerous that is. Return to your body immediately".

He could hear how Zaira actually chuckled and kneeled down beside him to help him up.

"Well no can't do Astral. Don't ask me how I even got out of the barian sphere" She then said and sighed "All I know is that I can't get inside again because of the barrier, so I decided if this is gonna be my final hours, I need to do something".

"Well your effort is admirable, but there is nothing we can do" Astral said and sighed.

"Don't give up hope so quickly. Look at Yuma does he give up?" Zaira questioned fiercely and made Astral turn his attention towards Yuma again.

The lobster haired boy were once again on his feet. After the treatment Vector had given him, Astral was a little surprised that he still could get up. He looked beat up.

"Well it is your move, but is it really worth taking?" Vector then questioned and chuckled like the evil maniac he truly was. "After all you lost this duel and your good friend Astral".

Astral noticed the sadness in Yuma's eyes as the boy looked down at the ground. It almost looked like he was about to cry.

"Maybe you are right" He then admitted slowly "I lost Astral because I bought into your lies, but you are wrong about me losing this duel. No matter what dirty trick you have planned for me, I still believe in hope. Nothing you do can chance that and that is what's gonna defeat you!".

Astral's eyes widened at that. Yuma truly did still believe in hope. His eyes wandered to Zaira and she send him a thump up. In some way saying, 'See I told you so'. Astral clenched weakly his fist. If Yuma still believed in hope, then he was gonna believe in him. He needed to do something.

"Astral do Zexal morph one more time" Zaira then said firmly.

"But why?" Astral questioned rather stunned "It doesn't change a thing".

"Trust me Astral".

That was her final words before she disappeared. Astral hoped that it didn't mean forever and that she was just resting some place.

"You should listen to yourself Yuma" he could then suddenly hear Vector say and made his attention turn towards the duel once again "Your believe is based on a lie. The only hope you have left is that card from a friend who didn't exist".

Yuma sighed deeply and Astral could see a pained expression on his face. Clearly the events with Ray being Vector still stung in his heart.

"Yeah I guess that's true" Yuma then said slowly and looked up at Vector "But right now I am dueling for some real friends. I have to believe in hope and draw. This is for Zaira and Astral!".

And Yuma drew with fierce determination. That however apparently had been his limit, since shortly after Yuma collapsed to the ground, dropping the barian card in the process. Astral didn't question any of that. After all he was still amazed Yuma had been able to hold out this long. Astral couldn't think of anything else than helping Yuma, as he crawled weakly towards him. Yuma of course noticed him as he approached him, and he send Astral a weakly smile.

"I am so sorry Astral" he then said in a weakly tone. Astral knew he was apologizing for everything that had happened today and for all these things he had kept a secret from him. Astral couldn't keep himself from smiling back.

"I can no longer trust as I did before" Astral then commented and were holding his ghostly hand towards Yuma. "And yet despite all that has happened, I still have not lost my faith in your spirit of hope".

The lobster haired boy looked a little disappointed for a second, but then he noticed Astral's outstretched hand and sent his friend a weak smile back. His hand got outstretched towards Astral's now and they both touched each other. As they did yellow light sparked around them and both of them noticed another hand placed above theirs. Zaira was present beside them and she was the one the golden/yellow light was radiating from. Knowledge Astral never had known before entered his mind now, and by the stunned expression on Yuma's face, so did Yuma. Both of them knew what to do now.

"Let's High five the sky!" Yuma then shouted as the golden light enveloped them.

"Yes, the time is now" Astral commented as all three of them were helping each other up on their feet's. Zaira nodded encouraging and looked at Cy who apparently also had been present. Astral had first now noticed the blue wolf's presence.

"Cy please take care of my body for me" she then said, and they could all three see how Cy nodded determined to that plea. Then Zaira turned towards both of them. "Let's do this".

Yuma and Astral both nodded. They all three turned into three different color beams. Yuma was red and Astral blue. Just like usual. However, Zaira... Astral had never seen such a bright golden color. It was like she was the purest energy, and as that pure energy, nothing could truly contain it. The sphere field holding Zaira literally exploded. Not as much as it hurt any of the others who was present at the field, but it still created so much light. Since Zaira was free her body and soul were connected once again, and the energy literally hit Zaira in midair.

"When two hearts join together along with the spirit of hope, nothing is impossible!" she then shouted and merged together with them.

Both boys had been shouting 'go Zexal morph' just before it happened, and as the light disappeared around them, Yuma was standing at the dueling field, dressed completely different. Their armor was much more impressive. Black pants with long white boots who went over his knee cap could be seen, along with lines of green shown at both sides of the pants. His armor was still white but was like a long trench coat down his waist and back, and the armor's color changed to red, when it passed his hips. A black and green colored blouse was underneath the armor and some of it could be seen at his stomach since that was the only place the armor hasn't covered him, along with his arms. Black fingerless gloves were on both his hands, and impressive shoulder pads was at his shoulder being part of the white armor who was also over his chest. Yuma was still having his red bangs at his forehead, but the rest of his hair had become the color of orange. Just like Zaira's hair color although it was longer. It went down to the mid of Yuma's back. Yellow colored eyes finished the look and Astral couldn't believe it. This was apparently their new bond, which meant Vector was going to get it now.

"It is over Vector" Yuma said firmly and were the confirmation to Astral's thoughts.

Zaira's p.o.v.

To say things were weird, that was an understatement. I mean when would you ever have believed that you would share a body? Or is soul more like it? Well whatever! It had happened now, and I must say that it was something I needed to get used to. Sure Astral and me were not really in charge of anything. It was still Yuma's body and he was in charge of it, more or less. I mean if it came down to it, we might be able to do something like what happened in their dark Zexal form, but it was not something Astral and I was thinking of doing. I guess you could say we were his voice of wisdom and power. What who was who, I leave up to Yuma and Astral to decide. However there were at least some good perks about it. I was able to help! That and we were still separate beings. We were having our own privacy which meant that we couldn't read each other's thought. Something which I was grateful for. After the revelation with Vector, I didn't want anyone to know that I was supposedly a barian and his sister. Not that I believed it or anything, but if Yuma and Astral knew, who knew what they were gonna think about me?

"That is quite the get up, but it changes nothing. You can dress up anyway you like, but you still won't win" Vector shouted angrily.

However, in my ears it sounded like he was hesitant, and it only got confirmed when Vector even took some scared steps back before he got his compose back and were glaring coldly at us once again. That made me smirk a little. Vector deserved a little fear for all the things he had done.

"Zaira you do the honors" Astral commented with a little smile. Both him and Yuma could see the eagerness in my eyes. Apparently the understood my feelings of being left out of the action for so long, and I couldn't be more grateful.

"We will see about that Vector" I then said through Yuma's lips. Sure it was his voice mostly but some of mine was surely mixed in between, because of the surprised widened eyes that was shown on Vector's face.

"Wait what? Zaira is that you?" he uttered just as stunned.

"You will not hurt Yuma and Astral any longer Vector" I sneered back and were holding up the barian card in our hand. Power ran easily through me as I said the next words "It is time for me to unleash the true power of this card and shine the light of victory! Shining evolution!".

As I said that the card changed shape and became the spell card known as "Rank up magic Numeron force", but at the same time the knowledge on how to ever change the card in the first place, disappeared from my mind, and surely Yuma and Astral's as well. Wherever that power and knowledge to do so came from, they apparently didn't want this to happen again, but I really didn't care here. All that mattered was us winning this duel.

"What?! You changed the card?!" Vector uttered just as stunned.

"Yes the light of hope shatters the darkness and calls forth limited barian's forces true form" Astral explained to Vector but it didn't seem to calm him down that much. To be honest I liked that shocked expression in his eyes.

"We activate 'rank up magic numeron force" Yuma then uttered and activated the card.

With it we could rank up Utopia into a new chaos xyz monster. We used the overlay network to xyz summon "Chaos Nb 39 Utopia Ray victory". As Utopia appeared once again, he had become a rank 5 monster with 2800 att and 2500 def points. That and Utopia new white armor looked pretty good on him.

"Utopia Ray Victory?" Vector then questioned rather annoyed "I think not. Sargasso effect will finish you!". At that I snort and were once again in control.

"The only one who is finished here is you Vector. Because when Numeron force is activated it negates Sargasso's effect" I then told him which was all true.

All other face up card on the field after all lost their effects when numeron force was activated. That was one more thing Vector didn't like, since he was screaming up "No" rather loudly. Both Astral and I looked at Yuma. We had decided that he should do the honor and he did it gladly. He attacked with our new Utopia and as he did Utopia new effect activated. By using one Ou Utopia would now gain Masquerade's att. It rose all up to 5800 att points which were enough to wipe out all Vector's life points. Something we all did eagerly and soon Yuma, Astral and I had won the duel. Something everyone was happy about.

'

Then a lot of things happened. Apparently, the power we had unleashed in this duel had caused Sargasso to collapse. The others were rushing over the ship as Tori and the others came to pick them up. I also noticed Bronk carrying my body along with Shark towards the ship, while an invisible Cy followed them, making sure I was taken good care off. I couldn't help but smile at that. Cy was always there to protect me, and I really couldn't imagine a life without my trusted number anyway. We however, were still in Zexal two and were staring down Vector as the others were about get inside the ship. We were just making sure he didn't pull any last stunts or something like that. Knowing Vector he might have. However, as time went on and nothing happened, Yuma, Astral and I decided that it was time to split. To be honest I couldn't wait to be back in my own body once again. It was after all mine and well I didn't have to share it with anyone if you catch my drift.

"You think you have won, but you are so wrong" Vector then suddenly said as he was trying to get up.

He didn't look that good to be honest. He was having several injuries on his body and I noticed that a part of his black wings were missing. Not that I regretted any of our attacks. He had so deserved it in my opinion.

"Mark my words, the line that has stained Astral's heart will never go away" Vector then continued fiercely as he opened up a portal to who knows where "It will last forever. It will nudge your bond and destroy it, and not even Zaira Chan's power can fix that. Mark my words, I will come back, and when I do, I will defeat you. I will destroy you and take what is rightfully mine!".

As he said that, I was sure our eyes meet, even though that was a little impossible with me being inside Yuma's body at this moment, but I swear our eyes locked together in that moment, and I knew what it meant. His words I understood them, and it made me shiver a little. He was gonna come back for me. Vector was gonna try kidnapping me again someday and when he did, he would destroy Astral and Yuma in the process. All because he still believed I was his dear sister. I clenched my fists a little. He could try! I was not his sister and I was not a barian!

Time skip.

"Look! Look! I this she is waking up!".

The first thing I heard was this loud cheering voice who made me groan rather annoyed. That voice couldn't be anyone's else's voice but Yuma. That was not the first words I wanted to hear when I woke up in my own body that was for sure.

"And you are too close Yuma" another voice said. It sounded female so I figured it was Tori. "You are so gonna get it".

"Am not. Zaira is not gonna do me a thing. I am her brother and I am just making sure she is okay. Maybe Vector hurt her or something" Yuma defended fiercely.

That actually made me open my eyes pretty quick and I was soon staring in two red orbs who clearly was filled with worry. He was so close that I literally to smell his bad breath. He was way to close. Just as Tori had said, and fist soon was planted in Yuma's chest and he got send flying over to the other end of the room.

"Too close!" I sneered angrily and actually blushed a little. If it had been any other boy than Yuma, you would think he was a pervert here.

"I told you girls don't like this" Tori sneered angrily and walked over to Yuma "When are you ever gonna listen to me?".

She had grabbed Yuma in the ear flip and were looking demanding at him. I just chuckled a little. Apparently, I have had some influence on her there. Luckily Yuma was of course rather hard core or I wouldn't have hit that hard. He did seem okay.

"But... but I thought... Zaira is not like a real girl so I thought..." Yuma uttered out to his defense, which made me tense a little. "She is more like a...".

"I dare you to finish that sentence Yuma or you are gonna get it!" I hissed angrily which made the lobster haired boy look at me with bewildered at me, but he didn't finish it. Apparently, he didn't want another hit.

"Angry wolf" another voice then suddenly stated, and I turned quickly around towards it. There to my right was Shark standing with his confident smirk and I couldn't be happier to say the least.

"Shark!" I uttered and surprisingly hugged him like my life depended on it, which was clearly out of character for me. At least in front of everyone here. I had a image to live up to. An image I didn't care at all about right now.

"Wow easy, easy there miss stubborn" Shark then replied slowly and placed his hands on my back "What's gotten into you? Aren't you a...".

"If you say Wolf you are gonna get the same treatment as Yuma!" I sneered and pulled away a little from him "Can't a girl as your girlfriend get a hug here just because she missed her boyfriend?".

"Sure, sure" Shark mumbled and pulled me into another hug "You just surprised me, that's all".

I didn't say anything to that as I placed my head at his chest. I had missed him so much and to feel my boyfriends body warm right now did wonders. After all that had happened in barian world, I just needed something I was familiar with. We stood there for some minutes. I had no idea what the others here were doing but silence had uttered all around the whole ship. Soon I pulled away and began taking in my surroundings. Right now I was apparently inside the ship cockpit. I still were a little surprised that the ship could move. Sure I had seen it at that time at Sargasso, but my attention had been all over the place there. Now as everything was settling down, every other not so important things back then, was slowly coming to focus. Like this ship and how much I missed Shark when I was captive in barian world. Not that I believed I was considering the good treatment I had actually gotten from Dumon. From Dumon and Vector, which was the reason I preferred to see myself at captive instead. It was a little easier to deal with than everything else. The usual gang of Yuma's friends were just chilling around, eating some snacks like this was a picnic, while Tori finally let go of Yuma and soon joined them. Kite was leaning up the wall, not caring about much, but he did lift his gaze as I was looking at him. I quickly turned away. Kite looking like he had questions and I didn't truly want to face it now. His robot Orbital was the one steering the ship at the moment along with Rio having check on the different screens. Everything looked rather peaceful, but I knew it wasn't. Even though they didn't want to show it, Shark, Yuma and Astral was worried. I caught Yuma several times staring at me to be honest. Shark was more careful and Astral, well he was the one first breaking the ice.

"Zaira are you okay? Are you hurt? Did the barians do anything to you?" was one of the few questions he asked me. There were others, but I decided to block them out. Inside I was sighing deeply. Now Astral was parenting once again.

"Stop being such a mother hen Astral. I am fine. The Astral's didn't do anything to me" I replied rather annoyed. "They just didn't want me to meddle".

"Oh was that the reason they placed you in that sphere field?" Yuma questioned with a smile "So you couldn't meddle in our battle at Sargasso? Man those powers you used was awesome. We all were part of this new zexal".

"I think there were other factors in play than just that Yuma" Astral said and looked at me with fearful eyes "I came to this conclusion that they placed you there for several reasons. To keep you from meddling and helping me not getting influenced by Vector's evil powers. I also believe that grey barian used you as blackmail against Shark". Shark nodded firmly at that.

"Yeah Dumon. But I have a feeling it was more than blackmail" Shark then mused out "I was sure he was testing me to see what I was cable off". I froze slightly at that as I remembered the grey barian and the talk we had in the hallways at the barian palace. He had been the only one of the barians there I could tolerate, but then again, he had been nice to me. At least before he locked me in that stupid sphere field.

"Earth to Zaira! I was asking you a question here" I could then suddenly hear Yuma say and made me return to reality. Yuma, Shark and Astral glared at me intensely. I had apparently been lost in thoughts. Something I of course apologized for.

"Are you sure you are okay?" Astral asked once again worriedly.

"Yeah I am fine. What was the question Yuma?" I quickly said in an attempt to change the subject. Yuma eyed me a little for a sec but then he nodded eagerly.

"I said, I was wondering if you knew Vector had been Ray all along? Or did you get the information when we all were dueling at Sargasso?" he then asked.

"Well I always knew there was something off about him, but I was kinda in the dark. Just like you" I admitted and sighed "He told me after he had kidnapped me. I guess it was his way of tormenting me. Mentally I mean". At that Astral nodded confirming. All of us around knew how manipulative Vector could truly be.

"So, you weren't locked in some creepy dungeon?" Yuma then suddenly questioned in a worriedly tone "Or taken to some strange lab and be underdone horrible experiment on?". At that I rolled my eyes rather annoyed.

"Yuma you have seen too many horror movies" I then snort out "I don't even think they have stuff like that in barian world. They are all about their damned crystals to be honest. I was locked in Vector's quarters for star...". As soon as I had said that last line, I regretted it right away. I had spoken over me. I had revealed too much. They were gonna find out the truth. They were gonna be judgmental of me!

"That is interesting" Kite then mused, smirked and walked towards us all now. He had apparently been ears dropping. "So in other words, you were not tortured in any way, but kept in the insane barian's quarters, where he surely told you his secret identity and provided for you. That is interesting facts indeed". Shock was clearly shown on my face now. I was even sure I went pale. What if they connected the dots and realized that I was supposedly Vector's sister?! (I wasn't! I wasn't!) What would they do if they knew? Would they throw me overboard of the ship? I must admit I was shivering slightly now.

"What are you assuming Kite?" Shark then yelled angrily "That Zaira was in on it like Ray was? She helped Yuma and Astral in that duel, and you know it! She was just unlucky to be that sick bastards target. That is all!".

"I am not assuming anything. I just find things interesting" Kite then said and shrugged "There is just too many facts and things happening to all be coincidences. Or don't you think it is weird Vector kidnapped Zaira. If he wanted to destroy Yuma and Astral's bond, why didn't he kidnap Yuma instead?".

"What? Vector clearly kidnapped Zaira because he knew of her amazing powers!" Yuma defended "He saw it in action when we dueled him as Dr. Faker".

"But still, it doesn't make sense. There is no way he could have known of Zaira being able to create your Zexal morph two, and even if he did, how did he then know... Zaira has just used this power for the first time after all" Kite then answered rather analytically "Something is clearly amiss here".

"Yeah and that is my fist planted in your face!" Shark sneered and walked over and grabbed Kite in the collar of his clothes "How dare you try to make my Girlfriend seem guilty of whatever made up crime you have in your stupid head of yours!".

"Hmm is that a threat?" Kite mused with a smirk on his face "Violence? A simple idea from a very simple mind". I could hear how Shark hissed angrily and I was sure he would have hurt Kite in some way, if I hadn't come in between.

"That's enough. Stop fighting! Especially over such stupid things" I sneered and ripped Shark's hands off Kite. The bond snort rather annoyed and I first now noticed how close Orbital had been in saving his Master. I send Kite a glare.

"For your information I am not on their side and this is not some kind of trap" I then sneered angrily "But if you don't believe me, well that is your problem". Then I turned around on the heel and began walking away.

"Zaira where are you going?" Yuma questioned worriedly.

"Out! And don't you dare follow me" I yelled back as I entered the ship deck. I just wanted to be alone right now, and for every step a certain crystal was hitting my chest over and over.

Dumon's p.o.v.

More or less same time.

Dumon sighed deeply as he was lying on Sargasso's ground and watched the field begin to crumple. He was currently in his human form and were staring up at the weird colored sky. After all what could be a more fitting end for him, than lying here pretending he could watch the stars in his human form while Sargasso was collapsing all around him? It almost felt like he was stargazing with a certain princess once again, even though it was because of her, he was even stuck here to begin with. She was still having his Lapiz and he needed that to be able to use his powers, open a portal and get the hell out of here. Not that Dumon blamed her in any way. He wasn't even mad at her. After everything that happened here, it didn't surprise him that Zaira had forgotten she still had the crystal around her neck. All he was feeling right now was happiness. He had helped his princess and she was now safe in the human world. That had after all been his plan from the get-go. A plan he clearly couldn't have shared with either Mizar or Vector. They wouldn't understand. Especially Vector since he finally had his beloved sister by his side once again. However, Dumon had realized it right away when he had been treating Zaira. It was something he got confirmed at Sargasso as well and just knew he had to do in order to save her life. Barian world's atmosphere was killing her! Clearly a safety method from Astral world in case Zaira ever returned home, and Dumon knew his Lapiz was only a temporary solution. The Lapiz was keeping her more or less alive for now, but if she had stayed there, she would still have died. Maybe not today or tomorrow but soon and that he couldn't handle. That was the reason Dumon had let them take Zaira when Sargasso was breaking down. He had let them do it anyway, in some way maybe faking a defeat, if the duel hadn't been interrupted. All so Zaira could return back to Earth who was a world inhabiting both powers. Both Astral and Barian powers. Which lead him to here, sacrificing himself for his princess. He couldn't be happier. Something he would gladly have done if it had been Nash as well. He would have done everything he could to prevent Nash from missing after all.

"Nash we could really use your help right now" He then mused out and sighed "After all without you, and without me, I am sure Vector ends up as leader and that can't just happen. He has lack of sympathy for our people". Dumon sighed deeply once again.

"I wish I actually told Mizar the truth" he then said and sighed "I hope you one day can forgive me for my selfish actions". He had just said that, when light could be seen and Dumon was sure that had been a portal. Then arms touched around his shoulders and he was soon sitting on the ground instead. Blue eyes were looking worriedly at him and it made Dumon sigh deeply inside.

"Mizar you shouldn't be here" he then said and could hear the yellow barian snort.

"And neither should you" Mizar replied and pulled Dumon up so he in the end was having a supporting arm around his neck and shoulder. Dumon groaned slightly at that. he had never in his life felt this weak and he knew that even if he tried, he wouldn't be able to transform into his barian form.

"Mizar let me be. You need to return back to Barian world and be there for our people" Dumon then mused weakly, which only made the yellow barian snort.

"And leave you behind? Sorry my friend but that is not the way I roll" Mizar said firmly "Just few steps and we are soon in barian world".

"It doesn't make any difference my friend" Dumon replied and smiled weakly "Even if you somehow manages to drag both of us back to barian world using your own Lapiz, I doubt I will survive for very much longer anyway. My princess is still in procession of my barian Lapiz".

"What?! You didn't take it back?!" Mizar shouted in disbelief "I only thought you were weakened after your duel, but this... Dumon are you out of your mind?! We have lost enough comrades as it is. I am not gonna lose you too".

"Mizar..." Dumon said slowly. He didn't know how to reply his friend. His determination to save him was admirable to say the least but...

"Don't be a fool Mizar. Our people need you" he then said slowly, and he could hear his friend growl angrily. He was surely about to say something when wind were suddenly blown all around them. They both knew instantly that it wasn't caused by Sargasso. No this wind was warm and somewhat familiar to Dumon. Then a loud growl could be heard beside them and the wind began materializing itself. In front of them now was a blue colored wolf wearing a mask and chains on its legs. Both Dumon and Mizar was actually staring in disbelief at is, but at the same time Dumon felt some sort of recognition. He had seen this creature before. It growled angrily at them, which clearly showed the dislike for both of them.

"Grr. If my mistress hadn't asked me to do this, I would have ripped you to pieces" the wolf then stated in a cold tone and growled angrily again "Be grateful my mistress believes in fairness and wants to take you down in a duel, rather that you are dying here. Unlike me!". Dumon looked bewildered at the creature, while Mizar was almost having a glaring contest with it.

"Who or what are you?" He then sneered and were holding up his galaxy eyes with one hand, while supporting Dumon with the other "If that is a threat, my Galaxy eyes will personally send you to...".

"Stop it Mizar. It is not our enemy" Dumon then interrupted and actually managed to get out of Mizar's grip and were soon standing without any support, which was pretty amazing considered he was this beat. However Dumon had a feeling why. He could after all feel a force radiating from the beast somewhere, and it was a very familiar feeling. Something he needed rather badly.

"You... you are Cy, right?" Dumon then said and took a step towards the wolf "You serve Zaira. You...".

"You dare speak my mistress name! Especially after what you did to her!" Cy sneered fiercely and were glaring angrily at him.

"Dumon watch out!" Mizar yelled as the wolf rushed forward. Dumon could understand Mizar's concern. The wolf looked like it was about to attack, but...

"My apologies. It was never my intention, and your... mistress is safe now right? She is on her way to earth as we speak" Dumon then said. All which made the wolf stop up rather confused. Dumon sighed again.

"Your Mistress had a job for you right? Care to fill me in?" he then asked.

"Grr my mistress wanted you to survive. She wants to take you barians down with her own hands. Therefore she asked me to deliver this to its rightful owner" Cy then replied and surprisingly spit something out of its mouth. Dumon instantly caught it and were soon holding the gray crystal that was his Lapiz. Or the crystal at least and he placed it the missing spot on his bracelet at his wrist. As soon as he placed it there, the bracelet disappeared inside his own body. Just where it belonged.

"You have my deepest gratitude" Dumon said and bowed slightly "Tell you Mistress that". Cy growled angrily once again.

"You have no right to even speak to her" Cy growled firmly "And I don't answer to you. Head my words, if I ever sense you endangering my mistress, I will kill you!". Then the wind was blowing fiercely once again, and the wolf soon disappeared. Dumon sighed deeply at that. He didn't like getting threatened, even though the wolf's words had been rather empty. After all it could never attack him. Not as long as his own number was protecting him.

"That wolf was not Cy" Mizar then sneered and looked at his friend "Zaira's Cy looks way different".

"But it still was Mizar and I know you could sense that too" Dumon replied slowly and began walking towards the portal. "Like Zaira, her cards must have undergone some kind of memory loss as well. It makes me fret for the future".

"What? Dumon stop taking like that. You still have a chance with her. Even though I don't believe that girl is truly the wolf princess Zaira" Mizar hissed angrily.

"You sure? That would be too good to be true Mizar" Dumon replied back.

"Yeah I am sure. She did after all give the Lapiz back. Now let's go back to barian world, before this place collapses completely" Mizar then said and entered the portal seconds later. Dumon sighed deeply inside as he transformed into his barian form. He wished Mizar was speaking the truth. After all how could he have a chance with Zaira when she only remembers him as the evil leader of the barians. He sighed again and entered the portal as well. Only the future could truly tell.

A,N: And done. That was the ending of the Sargasso event. Never thought it would be this good and long, but oh well. You got a lot of goodies to read I hope, so I don't regret a single thing. The next event is the mytherian numbers, but sadly I have some bad news. I will have a zexal break for an unknown time, since I want to work on my other stories. I don't know when I will continue, but I hope you can forgive me, and still wait patiently for me to return. You can read my other stories while you wait if you like. Thanks for your consideration though.
