Girag's p.o.v.

The big and strong barian warrior Girag was of course watching this duel who was present at the school right now. He was the one who had ordered Fender to get Yuma's number after all, and right now, he was enjoying the show, as it progressed. He was currently standing at the top of the roof, while watching Fender beat Yuma rather easily. Girag smirked at that. Of course it was. After all, Astral hadn't shown for some weird reason. Not that Girag complained about that. The numbers were still on the line, but he wondered why the Astral prince didn't show. Along with that wolf protector he was having. That was at least what Girag's entail was telling him. He had never seen that protector with his own eyes. Maybe they were scared in facing him. Girag smirked at that. That actually sounded reasonable. He hoped those two cowards didn't show then. After all this was making his job so much easier.

Yuma: 3200 Lp's.

Fender: 2500 Lp's.

"This duel is almost finished" Girag could hear Fender say. His puppet smirked at Yuma now. "Just like you". Yuma Tsukumo sneered angrily at that.

"What?!" he yelled back. Apparently he believed he could still win.

"I have a little surprise" Fender replied and grinned "Some friends of mine are coming to meet me. They should be here pretty soon. But when they get here, it is not gonna be pretty for you".

Yuma sneered angrily at that. Girag on the other hand was smirking. Even if Yuma managed to beat Fender, he was having a whole herd of human puppets to do his bidding and get the numbers for him. You could never be too prepared after all. Fender chucked evilly again.

"And neither is this" He proclaimed and attacked with his chaos xyz monster.

"Without Ou's, Utopia won't be able to stop the attack, but even if I take damage, only a number can destroy my Utopia" Yuma replied in a firm tone. Girag just smirked at that. Yuma would soon realize how wrong he was.

"Think again Yuma!" Fender shouted back and showed Yuma just how wrong he was.

Fender's monster destroyed Utopia, and dealt Yuma 700 points of damage. Yuma was blown backwards, hitting the ground seconds later. Girag smirked at that. He knew that blow had also hit Astral wherever he was. Soon the numbers would be his. Yuma got slowly up from the ground. Utterly despair was shown in his eyes. He couldn't believe Utopia got destroyed so easily.

"My number.. Utopia was just destroyed. This can't be!" He muttered out.

"It can be, and it is my friend" Fender replied him and grinned evilly "Whenever I summon a chaos xyz monster using barians force, your numbers can be destroyed by non-numbers. So it looks like your number is up kid". Girag nodded in agreement.

"It is over" he proclaimed and smirked at that. He was very pleased with himself. Now he could soon return to barian world with great results. "Yuma Tsukumo. A Chaos Xyz monsters exist to destroyed numbers".

Girag smiled again. It wouldn't be long before all Yuma Tsukumo's numbers were finally his.

Normal P.o.v.

At the sidelines was Yuma's friends watching this duel with awe and horror. They saw how much Yuma was struggling against this new Xyz monster.

"What a monster" Bronk uttered in a worried tone.

"Yuma can't beat that" Flip added in a scared tone.

Cathy nodded slowly. She was very worried about Yuma. However she soon noticed something, even more terrible.

"Guys, look! Yuma is not wearing his key" she then said and pointed at Yuma.

"You are right Cathy, it is gone" Flip uttered even more scared.

"In the end, it looks like Yuma has to battle without Astral's help" Caswell then said slowly.

This made the whole situation more dire. Yuma's friends didn't think Yuma would lose. Not with Astral around at least. Now that he wasn't here, all his friends were very concerned about their friends wellbeing.

"I got even more bad news for you Yuma" The group could now hear Fender say "I am not finished, so here is another taste of Barian's power".

Fender activated his chaos xyz monsters eff. By using all his monsters Ou's, it had 4, he could deal 500 points of damage for each one. Yuma's friends eyes widened in horror at that. Yuma was gonna be hit by 2000 points of damage. Yuma got literally blasted away by the chaos monster's eff, leaving Yuma only with 500 life points left. Bronk and the others, really hoped Yuma could find a way out of this. Fender tossed down a facedown and ended his turn.

Zaira's p.o.v.

"Astral!" I shouted and groaned in pain as well.

Astral had just got hit by the lightning in here, and since he got weaker, so did Cy, and in the end I did as well. Some stupid drawbacks on being Astral's protector I guess. I really wondered what Eliphas was thinking in this moment. How were I supposed to protect Astral when I was sharing his pain right now? Or at least some of it. Astral looked a lot more hurt than I was. He had just got blasted off the ship, and was lying weakly in the sand below. He was injured pretty badly. Cy and I even stopped trying to get out of here. I actually think Cy didn't have that much power to toss me up in the air anyway, and it wasn't like my kick and punches could destroy the barrier in here anyway.

"Astral!" I shouted and jumped down form the ship as well.

Soon I landed beside him, and were trying to tend his wounds. I still had a little Astral power left. A hand grabbed mine, before I even could touch him however. Astral had grabbed my hand and were now shaking his head a little.

"No Zaira, don't use your last powers on me" The Astral prince whispered weakly "Use them to get out of here. You promised me you would get me back to Yuma".

"But Astral you are hurt" I replied in a worried tone. Astral just smiled at me.

"I know, but my few injuries doesn't matter" he replied slowly "What matters is that we arrive to that battle against Barian world".

I rolled my eyes at that. This was clearly not only a few injuries here, but I guess Astral had a point. If we didn't help Yuma out in this battle, Yuma could might well lose, and then Astral and I were gone forever. It would be a waste of time to heal him now. I kicked angrily the sand.

"Yuma" I could hear Astral whisper slowly "I do not understand this. I thought we were one, but you are battling without me". I sneered angrily at that too.

"Yeah, what were you thinking Yuma?!" I yelled up "Why did you take off the key? What happened?! Who is even holding it?!". It was like the key responded to me, because a picture appeared in the sky now. I could see a girl who was holding it.

"It is Tori" Astral mused out "Why is she in possession of it?".

I shrugged at that. I had no idea, but what I do know is that I needed to get out of here. I sneered angrily inside. Now I was actually a little annoyed that I didn't leave the key with Utopia. I know the number card would go to Yuma, and that Yuma was not holding the key, but I could properly run from wherever Yuma were, and get the key from Tori by now. I kicked angrily the sand. Cy where standing worriedly beside me now. He was flashing in and out. Just like Astral.

"Mistress" He said in a worried tone. My eyes turned surprisingly at him now.

"Wait a minute! Cy you are a number card" I uttered out loudly. Astral and Cy looked puzzled at me.

"Yes, I believe so Mistress" Cy replied me in a confused tone "What else should I be?". I was smiling a wide smile now, and hugged the wolf. Astral and Cy were a little confused about my actions, but Cy soon nuzzled my cheek a little.

"Utopia left and he was a number!" I replied slowly "That means you Cy can also leave the key. You could go to Tori and bring me with you".

"I hadn't thought about that" Astral said in a thoughtful tone "That might work".

"Mistress I am not sure I can.." Cy said worriedly "My powers are not..".

"But Cy you are the only one I can count on" I said in a pledging voice "I don't trust in any of the other numbers to take me out of here. They will surely possess me".

"No Number shall hurt my mistress!" Cy growled angrily and grabbed my collar in my shirt. He tossed me up on his back. "I will try my best to get you out of here. Hold on tight in my fur. If I should disappear, don't be scared, I will reappear very quickly". I nodded slightly at that and took a good hold in Cy's fur.

"Good luck Zaira!" Astral then said and sent me a smile "I have faith that you can do it". I looked firmly at him.

"I will keep my promise and bring you to Yuma" I reassured him "Just stay here and wait a little". Astral nodded at that.

Cy and I didn't wait much longer after that. Cy jumped up in the air, and let the wind carry us up in the air. I was not sure if we turned into that golden light Utopia had become when he left the key though. What I knew was Cy slammed his head soon at the barrier in here. He was flashing a lot now. I looked worriedly at him. Cy's claw got through though, but then I could hear him groan in pain.

"Grahh, I.. I am.. can't give up! I promised my Mistress.." I could hear him say in a weak voice.

He tried even harder, but I had a feeling he couldn't. Astral had drained him too much for him to leave here. He began flashing in and out too. Only the wind kept me up. I sneered. We needed more power.

"Cy let go!" I then yelled and made him look stunned at me.

"But Mistress, I promised.." He said and gasped a little. I smiled at him.

"You didn't let me down. We have always fought together, and right now I need you to trust me, and let go. I have an idea" I replied slowly.

Cy growled and did just that. If I should be honest, I was not sure he could hang on much longer. At that moment his power disappeared completely and I fell down towards the ground pretty fast. I really just hoped this would work.

"I believe in Cy and our bond" I yelled and magenta energy appeared in one of my hands. Light blue appeared in the other. "I build the overlay network with Nb 24 Cyclone beast wolf. Go chaos xyz evolution! Appear now, Chaos Nb 24, Cyclone beast chaos wolf!".

A giant sphere of wind was shown in the sky now. Seconds later it exploded with energies, and Cy had really evolved to its chaos form.

"Mistress!" Cy shouted and flew down and caught me before I hit the ground.

I was soon sitting on its black furred back now. With lightning fast speed Cy charged through the barrier and soon we left through it.

"That was very reckless of you Mistress." Cy mused slowly as we went through the gateway that lead out of the key"You could have gotten very hurt, if I didn't catch you. What were you thinking?!". I chuckled at that and caressed Cy's back.

"I believed you would catch me Cy" I replied slowly "That was all I thought about".

"Please don't do something like that again" Cy said worriedly "One day I might not be there to save you mistress".

I hummed at that, but nodded. I would try not to be so reckless in the future. Soon we could see the light..

Normal p.o.v.

Tori was right now still present inside Rio's hospital room. She was still holding on to the key for Yuma, but she was looking worriedly out of the window. She was worried about Yuma. She was having this feeling that something terrible was going on. Suddenly the key was glowing. Tori looked puzzled at it, when suddenly a light beam flew out of the key in a wild frenzy. It was bouncing around a few times in the room even, before the light hit the floor beside Tori. It was so sharp Tori had to cover her eyes a little. When she could see again, she was looking stunned at the girl who was sitting on the ground beside her. Zaira was groaning in pain.

"Geez, you would think there were a controller to that beam" she tsked annoyed.

"Zaira.. Zaira did you come from.. inside the key?" Tori uttered stunned and looked at her "I thought only Yuma could open it". Zaira snort at that and got up.

"You are right. He is the only one, beside me that is" She sneered and was holding a hand towards Tori "Give me the key Tori!". Tori looked stunned at her.

"No I promised Yuma to keep it safe" She replied and were holding the key close to her heart "To keep you two safe. That was why he gave me the key, because he knew you wouldn't stay put..". Zaira snort at that.

"That little numbskull, and locking me inside the key was the answer" she replied in a cold tone and looked outside the window. Tori looked rather guilty at her.

"I know I shouldn't tell you this Zaira.." Tori mused out slowly "But Yuma is afraid of losing you again. You know like he did at the WDC. Although he would never admit it of course. It is a rather touchy subject..". Zaira growled a little at that.

"Listen Tori, Yuma is dueling someone very powerful, and the numbers are at stake" she then said "Astral says it is barian world. Yuma needs Astral, but since he is not wearing the key, that is not possible. Tori I need the key..".

Tori looked worriedly at her. Then nodded and was holding the key towards her. Surprisingly Zaira didn't take it. She was glaring around in the hospital room.

"Tori we are at Rio's room in the central hospital right?" she then questioned. "Care to fill me in on what's happening? Where is Shark boy?".

Tori nodded and began telling how Rio had gotten it worse, and how this guy had challenged Yuma to a duel with the numbers at stake, and they were at the school right now. She also told her she had no clue where Shark had gone off too. Zaira's eyes narrowed at that.

"Wait did you say Yuma's opponent was named Fender?" she then questioned.

"Yeah he introduced himself as that" Tori replied slowly and looked confused at Zaira "Why? Do you know him?". Zaira hissed a little.

"A motorcycle gang here in the city, has a leader called Fender" she then mused out "I were a street rat after all, and stole from different gangs in the city. I have entail on almost every gang, before I became a legal citizens. If Barian world is involved..". She turned her attention back to Tori now.

"Tori, you hold onto the key, and bring it to Yuma!" she then said firmly "I have something important to do. Shark must have realized that too..".

Then she rushed out of the room as quick as she could. Tori looked after her. Then looked at the key. Soon after she ran out of the room as well. She needed to deliver the key to Yuma.

In the meantime the rest of Fender's gang was driving through the city. Their destination was Heartland academy, where their leader were waiting for them. They had split up in different groups, so they could surround the school. All in the name of the barian world. However on one of the roads, a lone rider was engaging them, and were soon to be revealed as Kite Tenjo riding Orbital 7 in motorcycle mode.

"Well, well if it isn't the famous Kite Tenjo" one of the members uttered. "I always wanted to take you down". At that Kite snort.

"You are welcome to take your best shot, but I will do whatever it takes to make you pay" He replied in a cold tone and activated his duel gazer "And if I do go down, I am taking Barian world with me. Nothing would make me happier".

Beside Kite in spirit form was a certain dragon ready to pounce at the competition.

At the pier was another group of the gang driving, but they were engaged by purple haired boy on a magenta motorcycle. Shark had like Kite stopped this group of gang members and were glaring coldly at them.

"Well if it isn't the Ex-gang member Shark" One of the members said and chuckled "Are you here to stop us? Well Sharky, guess what, there is all us, against lonely you". At that Shark snort. He activated his gazer too.

"It may look that way to you, but I am not alone. I got friends on my side" He replied slowly and smirked "And I would like you to meet some of my nasties ones". Behind Shark now was the spirit of Shark drake, and he was ready to fight.

"Geez two guys against our whole gang" One of the members said and chuckled "I got entail that a certain blond guy, stopped our other unit, but guess what Sharky, we have another unit who is roaming around town right now. Who is gonna stop that one? Hmm?!".

Shark sneered angrily. That until a popping message appeared on his screen. At that Shark smirked and were readying his duel disk.

"I am not concerned at all" He said and chuckled "But I feel sorry for that unit who is facing her. This is clearly not their lucky day".

Zaira's p.o.v.

I was hiding at an alley near the streets, where the river bed I normally used to school were close by. Cy had told me it was this road this motorcycle gang were using. I had already sent a message to Kite and Shark that I took care of this unit. I cracked my hands a little. It had been a long time since I did something interesting after all. Stopping a whole unit of a gang sounded interesting enough. Especially since they were brainwashed by barian world. Just like Dr. Faker was. Hadn't the barian learned by now that they couldn't win? Apparently not since they were now attacking the city. I groaned a little. I was maybe not on full power, but what I had right now, was enough to beat them. It didn't require a lot of effort beating them. When I was Mysty, this gang didn't even notice me stealing from them. All they cared about was raw power, which in some way meant they weren't too bright duelists. Me and my wolves could deal with them easily. If they wanted power, I would show them alright.

"Mistress, they are coming" I could hear Cy say inside and I nodded.

I walked out from the alley. Cy had for safety created a little windstorm, making all the gang members stop surprised up. I sighed deeply. That might be the last power Cy had at its disposal. Astral were pretty bad shape after all. I clenched my chest. So was I.

"Hey what's up losers?!" I yelled and got the gang members attention. I was blocking their way now. The gang members looked annoyed at me.

"What's this? A little girl" one of the members replied "A little girl thinks she can stop us. She must have a death wish or something".

"Funny I was about to say the same thing" I replied and activated my gazer "Ever heard about that thief girl Misty? Well I am her". The gang members looked stunned at me for a second. Then they began laughing.

"You are the famous Misty?!" they then asked and chuckled darkly. "If you really are her, you must be out of your mind, taking all of us on".

"Let me at them Mistress. I will tear them apart!" Cy growled angrily inside my head. I rolled my eyes at that.

"I am sorry Cy, but you are too drained to fight this time" I replied inside my head "But please by all means, enjoy the show. This monster should keep them busy". Cy growled in approved at that. I turned towards the gang members.

"Hope you can handle the heat" I said and smirked "Because I am sending you straight to hell, and this wolf will make sure of that".

Behind me was an image of 'Flame devil wolf', and he was roaring rather vicious now.

Yuma's p.o.v.

Yuma: 500 Lp's.

Fender: 2500 Lp's.

Yuma was in the meantime slowly getting up on his feet. He was not gonna quit. Not ever. Because he was fighting for his friends, and there were no way, this guy would get to Astral and Zaira. That's a promise.

"I can't let up!" he mused to himself "I might lose but I am gonna fight for those two no matter what. You are going down!". The last he had been shouting at Fender, where after he drew. It was Yuma's turn after all. Yes a monster card.

"I place a monster face down in def mode" Yuma then shouted "Then I toss down one face down and end my turn". That should stop him, for now!

"You think you are smart, don't you?!" Fender sneered at him and drew "Only you are not".

He started off his turn by activating the spell "Overlay zero buster". Since his monster had no Ou's, he could activate this card, and destroy Yuma's facedown monster. Yuma looked rather horrified when "Gogogo gigas", who was having 2200 def points, got destroyed that easily.

"Gogogo Gigas!" he shouted worriedly.

Fender smirked at that. He attacked Yuma directly with his chaos Xyz monster, but luckily Yuma was ready for him. He activated the trap "Pinpoint guard". He could use this, since he was attacked directly. With this he could summon a level 4 or below monster from his graveyard in def mode. Yuma of course choose his "Gogogo gigas" who had just been destroyed. Sadly it also lost all its special effect, but that really didn't matter. Fender of course still attacked. His Chaos xyz was stronger than Yuma's defense monster, so Gogogo gigas still got destroyed, but at least Yuma didn't take any damage.

"You dirty little.." Fender sneered and activated his trap "Xyz meteor". With this trap he dealt piercing damage in this battle. Yuma looked rather horrified when he once again got blasted with 400 points of damage. He got tossed through the air, hitting the ground pretty hard. Yuma was only having 100 life points left. Fender sneered at that.

"Too bad you survived" he said and smirked "Now my other eff of my traps kicks in. It allows me to draw a card".

Fender did just that, and ended his turn with two face downs. Yuma slowly lifted his head. He was beat all over now, and his clothes were rather torn, but he was still not giving up. He got up on his feet once again and were gasping for air. I have to face the truth. Without Astral or Zaira I.. I don't think I can win this! Yuma closed his eyes. He didn't know what to do now.

"Yuma!" a voice suddenly shouted, and Yuma turned surprised towards the voice. He could see Tori run down from the stairs now, while carrying the key.

"Here Yuma, Zaira told me to deliver the key to you!" she shouted and tossed him the key. Yuma tried of course to grab it, but instead he tripped and fell to the ground. The key landed on the ground a little away from him. Fender chuckled at that.

"It looks like your little friend, couldn't go the distance" he replied and smirked.

"Astral" Yuma said in a weak voice "I wish you and Zaira were here. But I got to protect you".

Yuma however couldn't keep himself from touching the key, and suddenly a bright light emitted from it. Astral materialized beside him now, but apparently Zaira didn't. Yuma wondered if she was mad at him for locking her inside. That until Tori told him, Zaira had broken out from it and had business elsewhere. Yuma was looking stunned at Astral now.

"Astral I was.." Yuma began, but then looked firmly at him "You shouldn't have come here. You both should have stayed in the key. I can handle this myself. Please just go away". Astral looked puzzled at him.

"Yuma, why are you doing this?" Astral then questioned. Yuma sighed and looked down at the ground now. He just couldn't face Astral now.

"I had a dream" Yuma then slowly replied "It was like a warning.. that I would lose what was most valuable to me. And that meant you, and Zaira. So I tried to protect both of you, but I failed. I know that the dream was right, I can see you fading.. and it is all because I couldn't..".

"Yuma, You have made me very happy" Astral suddenly said and interrupted him. Yuma looked stunned up at Astral, and saw that he was smiling at him.

"All that you have done, proves to me that I have made a true and powerful friend" Astral continued "Just like Zaira. Because only a true friend would try to help and put themselves in harm's way for me. And those who seek to destroy my friends, must first seek to destroy me!".

As Astral said that, he glowed even brighter. Light emitted all around Yuma, which surprised him deeply.

"Yuma stand up!" Astral said firmly. The light around him slowly began to fade.

"It's too late" Yuma mused out. He was rather beat. Astral shook his head.

"I do not agree" He then replied "You seem to be forgetting the fact that our life points has yet to run out". Yuma couldn't stop smiling at that.

"As usual, always mister know it all" Yuma proclaimed and grinned a little.

"Yuma get on your feet!" Tori now also shouted. Yuma turned towards her.

"Wow, now I guess I have two people deciding what I shall do" He replied with a smile. Astral looked firmly at him.

"We must battle. Stand up Yuma!" he then said in a firm voice. Yuma smirked at that and grabbed the key who was lying on the ground, and placed it around his neck.

"Astral I am feeling the flow!" he then yelled, and those encouraging words made everyone of Yuma's friends smile. If Yuma said those words, they had nothing to be afraid of. Yuma and Astral turned towards the competition now.

"Yuma what is that?" Astral questioned and looked at the chaos xyz monster.

"Oh yeah, that's a chaos xyz monster. Barian's new weapon" Yuma informed him "It destroys numbers". Astral began analyzing the situation.

"A chaos xyz, I see" the ghost replied slowly "I have good news Yuma. I envision our victory with perfect clarity". Yuma grinned at that.

"You know it!" He shouted and drew. At that Fender smirked evilly.

"You what?! You only have a 100 points left. You can't beat me!" he yelled back. Yuma and Astral however ignored Fender's outburst completely.

"Yuma, summon Gagaga Magician!" Astral told him rather firmly.

"Right!" Yuma yelled back and summoned the monster Astral requested.

His ghostly friend also asked him to use a spell, which Yuma complied instantly with. He played the spell "Numbers evocation". With it he could tribute his Gagaga magician, to summon a number from the graveyard. Yuma of course brought back Utopia.

"So what you still can't beat my chaos xyz" Fender shouted and activated his trap "Xyz imprisonment".

With this card, he imprisoned Utopia, so it couldn't attack. Furthermore Yuma and Astral took 500 points of damage, as soon as their turn ends. With their life points only at 100, and with Utopia who couldn't attack, Fender figured victory was as good as his. However at that Yuma was grinning.

"It is never over, until it is over" he proclaimed confidentially, and looked at Astral "And when Astral and I combine our powers, and work together, there is no way you can beat us". Astral nodded approved to that.

"Very well said Yuma" he replied with a smile.

Yuma grinned. He was so feeling the flow. They chaos evolved Utopia into C39 Utopia Ray. Yuma of course activated Utopia ray's special eff. By using one Ou, he increased Utopia's att with 500 and decreased his opponents monster with 1000 att points. Utopia soon attacked Fender's monster, but Fender didn't want any of that.

"This can't happen!" he shouted "My Chaos xyz won't be beaten by a number".

Then he activated another trap called "Wild charger". Since they attacked his monster while Fender's monster had no Ou's, he now gained the attacking monster's att. Since Utopia was having 3000, Fender's monsters att rose up to 4600 att points.

"This is where it all ends" Fender proclaimed "Your numbers are all mine!".

"I don't think so" Yuma replied and looked at Astral "Do you?".

"I most certainly do not" Astral replied firmly.

They both activated the quick spell "Numbers impact". Since Fender's monster had over 1000 or more att point's than Utopia, and a battle commences, Utopia now added his opponents att points to itself. It was now having an att at 7600. Fender looked shocked at that.

"No way, this can't be happening!" he shouted.

"Finish him with rising sun chaos slash!" Yuma yelled and made Utopia attack once again.

Utopia of course complied, and soon destroyed Fender's chaos monster, reducing his life points to 0. Yuma and Astral had won the duel.

"Yuma just won the duel!" Bronk uttered happily.

The other nodded. They were all happy and cheerful that Yuma had won. Tori smiled and were congratulating both of them, even though Yuma and Astral properly couldn't hear it. Yuma turned to Astral and could see his ghostly friend holding up a thump. They were victorious. Suddenly laughter could be heard in the background now. Yuma turned surprised around, and saw Fender, who was slowly getting up on his feet's, while laughing like hell.

"Ha-ha, ha-ha, You don't really think it is all over do you?" The gang member then questioned and smirked evilly. "You are forgetting something kid. My gang is coming for you. They are gonna be here any second now".

Then he laughed like hell again. Yuma sneered angrily. He had completely forgotten that Fender crew were gonna show up too. Yuma was not sure, he was able to duel right now. He was completely drained from the last one after all. Fender sent him an evil smirk now.

"There is not much time left, for you" he uttered and grinned again.

"Guess again!" a voice suddenly shouted.

It was coming from behind Fender, and the gang leader turned surprised around. Yuma eyes widened in surprise as well. On two of the stairs to the school was Kite and Shark standing, and at the middle entrance, leaning up at the wall, was Zaira standing with a confident smirk on her face.

"Oh it is Kite, Shark and Zaira" Yuma uttered happily. Kite smirked at Fender.

"Sorry to disappoint, but your friends aren't coming" he then said.

"Let's just say than when we left them, they were resting uncomfortably" Shark replied and smirked.

"With burn marks to match" Zaira added and chuckled "I believe they need medical attention, so you better hurry". Fender looked shocked at them.

"So you are saying.. so you are saying that the three of you stopped my entire gang" Fender questioned in a scared tone "Just you three..".

"Yeah just us three" Kite replied and Shark continued "We handled them. Want some of what they got?". Zaira nodded firmly at that.

"I could need one more duel" she replied and smirked. Fender twitched at that.

"Direct attack!" Yuma could then hear Orbital yell and attacked Fender with his wire from behind.

Shock ran through his body now. Soon the gang leader fell to the ground. He was rather beat. As he did, the barian symbol disappeared on his forehead.

"Yuma I believe it is safe to say, that this individual was controlled by a barian power similar to the one that controlled Dr. Faker". Yuma nodded determined by that.

"I believe Astral is right Yuma!" Zaira suddenly said and Yuma found her surprisingly in front of him.

He hadn't noticed she had moved at all. He flinched at that. She was sending him one of the wolf glares she was so known for. Tori and the usual gang was also around him, but Yuma had only worried eyes at Zaira.

"I.. I am sorry" Yuma uttered scared. It was better to apologize right away to Zaira or she might go all wolf like on him. Yuma had seen Zaira furious after all. However it had never been directed towards him before.

"I am sorry I locked you in the key.. I just wanted to protect you and Astral" He got out pretty quickly "I knew you disliked it, but I wanted you two safe. It is not like you know how I feel. Tough guys just don't understand...".

Arms wrapped around Yuma and he was pulled into a hug, which surprised him deeply. Zaira was actually hugging him. She pulled away pretty quickly though.

"I Do understand. You were worried about us" Zaira said slowly and smiled. Then she were holding a cold wolf like façade at him "BUT if you ever do that to me again, I will beat you and tie you up, every time I don't want You leaving. Got that!".

"Ahr yes!" Yuma replied quickly. He didn't want any trouble with her. He also tried making a mental list, never to do that ever again. He didn't want to get tied up.

"Yuma I don't think we have heard the last from Barian world" Kite now said and approached the group along with Shark. He nodded as well.

"My guts says this is only the beginning" he then said. Yuma smiled at that.

"Guys that doesn't scare me one bit. As long as we combine our powers, and work as a team, there is no way anybody can beat us, because I am..".

"Gonna high five the sky" Zaira interrupted him and stopped Yuma midsentence. That made him rather perplex though.

"Zaira, you can't just steal my line!" Yuma uttered rather offended. Zaira chuckled.

"Oh I am sorry" she mused, but didn't look sorry at all. She was holding up her hand, and encouraged a puzzled Yuma to do the same. Soon Yuma realized what she wanted and they both jumped up in the air, and slammed their hands together.

"We are so gonna high five the sky!" they then yelled in unison.

Normal p.o.v.

In the shadows at the roof, was Girag now standing. He had retrieved barian's force which he had leant out to Fender and his gang. He had been a little surprised that those three of Yuma's friends had been beating an entire gang of barian puppet, but at least they were keeping things interesting. He soon disappeared through a portal.

However Girag was not the only one present at the school right now. Inside one of the classrooms there was a person standing, dressed in a school uniform and had orange hair to match. He was watching the event taking place too, and an evil smirk was plastered on the face.

A,N: Well that was that chapter. Felt a little shorter in my eyes, but maybe that is good, consider all the weird plans I have for this story.. so might have a short chapter now and really long chapters in the future lol. The next chapter is with Ray's debut, so properly gonna update that soon, since half done anyway. Hope you like that chapter, and would like some feedback so I can improve myself.
