After confronting Lin, Su showed us around. After introducing us to some of her children we found Opal.

"And this is my daughter, Opal." Su said with a smile.

"Wow, Avatar Korra. I can't believe you're here. You are so amazing." Opal said as she shook her hand.

"It's great to meet you, Opal." Korra said softly.

"Opal. That's a beautiful name." Bolin said with a smile.

I watched as a blush appeared on her face and she pushed some hair behind her ear.

"Thanks." She said softly.

"I'm Bolin." He said as he shook her hand.

"Opal. But, uh, you already knew that." She said as she shook his hand.

I glared at her and crossed my arms over my chest. Lin stepped forward and I silently thanked her for getting between them.

"Great. We've found the airbender. Let's take her back to the airship and get out of here." Lin said sternly.

"And the woman apparently trying to abduct you is your aunt Lin." Su said with a frown.

"Really? I've always wanted to meet you. My mom has told so many stories about you." Opal said happily.

"I'm sure she has." Lin said with a frown.

"So I've set all of you up in the guesthouses while Korra trains Opal." Su said as she smacked her hands together.

"Oh, I'm sorry. But I was hoping she could train with the rest of the airbenders at the Northern Temple." Korra said softly.

"That sounds amazing."

"Nonsense. This is where Opal's home and family are. You can train her here." Su said as she shook her head.

"I guess I could help her get started." Korra said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Absolutely not! We're leaving." Lin ordered.

"She's just a little worried because there's a bunch of crazy criminals after me." Korra explained.

"If you're concerned about security, don't be. This is the safest city in the world. Now I'll see you all at dinner. And come hungry. My chef will blow the taste buds right out of your mouth." Su said as she turned and walked away.

"Why do you have such a problem with your sister? She seems nice. Come on, we can stay a little while." Korra said as she turned and left with Opal.

I sent Bolin a glare and he looked at me with a frown.

"What?" He asked softly.

I turned and quickly walked away from him. I heard him follow me and I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Kari! Come back!" Bolin yelled.

Bolin's arms wrapped around me and I turned and sent him a glare.

"What!?" I snapped.

"What's wrong?" He asked softly.

"Nothing, why would anything be wrong?" I asked angrily.

"You look and sound mad."

"I'm not mad."

"Kari-"

"Opal seems nice.. you should totally go talk to her and hang out." I said cutting him off.

I saw a smile spread onto Bolin's face and he let out a laugh.

"Are you jealous?" He asked playfully.

"No."

"You are." He said happily.

"I am not jealous." I grumbled out.

"You totally are, I mean yea Opal is cute, but I don't like her. I like you."

I glared up at him and he sent me a smile. He moved to hug me but I pushed past him and walked away. I let out a sigh as I rubbed my face.

"You look like you aren't having a good day." A voice said.

I turned and frowned when I saw Aiwei.

"I'm having a great day." I growled out.

"Truth seer." He said calmly.

I let out a sigh and crossed my arms over my chest.

"What's wrong?" He asked softly.

"I have a evil spirit inside of me! My boyfriend is flirting with other people! My parents! Well they aren't my parents! I have no idea who my real parents are and I keep having dreams about them!" I yelled.

"You know we have a acupuncture who is good with memories we wish to forget." He said softly.

I bit my lip and looked down at the card. He turned and walked away, leaving me alone. It was soon time for dinner and I set beside Korra.

"Tonight, for your dining pleasure, I present a seared wild Kyoshi elephant koi, paired with a ginger-infused pea tendril and hibiscus root salad." The chief said calmly.

"Stunning." Su said with a smile.

He bowed and walked away. I watched as two men walked past and stopped to talk to Su and tell them that they wouldn't be eating with us.

"That was my brilliant architect of a husband, Baatar, and our oldest son. He engineers all my husband's projects." Su explained.

"Five kids. What a nightmare." Lin said with a frown.

"No, no. My children are a blessing." Su said with a frown.

"Yeah, mom used to say that too, but she never meant it."

"Lin would know all bout that." I whispered under my breath.

"I see you and Lin don't get a long. Guess Lin isn't that good a mother." Su said calmly.

Lin looked away and I took a sip of my drink.

"I didn't know Lin was a mother." I said angrily.

"Mmmm. I have to admit, I was pretty skeptical when he said "pea tendrils", but this is delicious." Bolin said with a laugh.

"I know, right. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal in my life." Opal said softly.

"Oh. I had plenty when Mako and I were living in the streets. I mean, you'd be surprised how bad food from a dumpster can be." Bolin said with a frown.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know."

"No, no, it's okay, that's all in the past. Things are great now. I got to be a pro-bender, fought against a dangerous revolution, became a mover star, and now, I'm helping the Avatar rebuild a whole nation." Bolin said softly.

"Wow. Your life sounds so exciting."

"How's your search for the new airbenders going?" Su asked as she looked at Korra.

"Honestly, not great. We had to rescue a whole group of them from the Earth Queen." Korra said with a frown.

"Oh, she's horrible. She thinks she can just do whatever she wants." Su said softly.

"Sounds familiar." Lin said angrily.

"What?"

"Nothing."

Su sent her a look and then looked back at Korra.

"I mean, the idea of even having a queen is so outdated. Don't you agree, Korra?"

"I... I haven't really thought about it too much." Korra said softly.

"Well, you should start. The world is evolving and the Earth Queen can evolve with it or step aside."

"Hey, everyone. My little sister is an expert on world affairs now." Lin said as she leaned back in her chair.

"You want to talk about what's really bugging you? Because I'm right here!" Su snapped.

The door slammed open and my eyes went wide as I saw Varrick walk in.
