"Sakura..." i whisper nervously, as we all stand in the wide open feild after defeating that psycho Deidera. She just looked away from me sorrowfully, slowly lifting her hands off of Gaara's chest. It's obvious what this means.

I stare at his body. It kind of looks like he's sleeping. Like he'll suddenly open his eyes, complaining that we woke him up.

But that will never happen. He will never wake up again. I grit my teeth and my eyes shut. Warm tears fall and my fist clenches, my nails digging into my palms.

"Why... was it Gaara?" I mutter, sobbing softly. "To die.. like this... He's supposed to be the Kazekage, to protect the sand village. He can't die like this.."

"And.. he didn't just become kazekage. He became..." Somebody i could rlate to, who i could talk to without being constantly put down and beat up.

And now he's... he's...

"Relax, Uzumaki Naruko-" Granny Chiyo begins,m but i cut her off with fury. "SHUT UP!" That's all i want her to do.

She looks shocked, and she deserves it. I hope she rots in hell, the insensitive prune.

"I-IF YOU SHINOBI OF THE SAND HAD NOT DECIDED TO PUT THE MONSTER INSIDE GAARA, THEN THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!" i scream at her insensitiveness, all i want to do is just kill the elders of the sand. It's all their fault..

"DID ANY OF YOU EVEN TRY TO ASK HIM ABOUT HOW HE ACTUALLY FELT????!!!! BESIDES, WHAT THE HELL IS A 'JINCHURIKI?!' THAT'S JUST A NAME YOU JUST ARROGENTLY CAME UP WITH, SO THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO CALL US HUMANS!" i stop my rant and cry again, trying to wipe of the tears with my sleeve, but they just keep coming.

"Naruko.." Sakura whispers.

"I-i could not save sasuke.. and now i've failed g-gaara..." i murmer, recalling the fight with Sasuke.

"For three entire years, i trained relentlessly... But nothing has changed, has it? Since three years ago..." I keep crying.

And then, suddenly granny chiyo does something weird.
