(The next day...)

*February 14th*

I woke up the next day and looked at my phone to see that it was February 14th. Also known as Valentine's Day! I looked down at my slumbering mermaid princess and lean towards her face, kissing her lips ever so softly.

"Mmm..." she hummed softly and slowly started kissing my lips back.

"Hmm~" I hummed as I wiggled my ears in the kiss. After a few seconds, I pulled back and smiled down at her. "Hey baby girl, do you know what day is it today?"

"It's Friday..?"

"Well yes. It's Friday, but it's also the day of love." I kissed her nose. "Happy Valentine's Day my love."

"Aww, happy Valentine's Day Wakko." she said as she sat up a bit and kissed my nose in return.

"I would like to take you out today." I smiled.

"Really? Where to?"

"You'll see after we eat breakfast." I smelled the air. "Ooh, French toast. My favorite." I licked my lips in satisfaction.

"Smells good. Let's go." she said as she was about to get up and out of bed.

"Hold on." I said as I jumped out of bed and slowly but gently picking her up in my arms.

"Oh my, baby?" she looked at me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"You shouldn't walk too much, your feet could get swollen." I said as I remembered yesterday's training from Scratchensniff.

"Oh. Okay." she smiled and laid her head on my shoulder. "Such a gentleman."

"Just for you my love." I smiled and carried my mermaid princess out of the room and down the stairs carefully. Then after we made it to the kitchen, I could see everyone eating breakfast. "Good morning everybody."

"Morning guys." Aqua waved at them. "Happy Valentine's Day."

"Good morning." the girls said at the same time. "Happy Valentine's Day."

Yakko looked at me and chuckled. "Well, good morning to you too Wakko. Sounds like you've had a great night sleep." he said as he served us our breakfast.

"Yes I did." I said as I took our plates. "For you my lady." I said as I served her plate and kissed her cheek.

She giggled. "Thank you. And thank you too Yakko for making breakfast. I'm sorry if it's a bother since, you know." she looked down at her slightly noticeable bump in where my future child is growing.

"It's alright. It's not a problem at all. It's for the sake of you and my future niece or nephew." he smiled and looked at me. "Permission to touch the baby belly bro?"

I smiled and nodded. "Go ahead dada Yakko."

He rubbed my girlfriend's belly. "This is an amazing feeling for my little brother to be starting a family right after me. You must be proud little brother."

"I am." I smiled and sat down next to Aqua. Then I started eating my breakfast. I ate it within a second, but I didn't eat the plate like I usually do.

"Huh, I thought you were going to eat my plate as usual darling."

"Nah, then my kid would copy me." I chuckled.

"That's another good thing about being a father. Always making sure that your child is safe from unsafe things. Like eating plates."

"Or cursing sis." Rachel said as she was breastfeeding Rakko.

"Oh yeah. I have to stop doing that. For the sake of my nephew there feeding on you."

"And your kid too." Dot said as she was reading a book.

"Okay. I should be even more careful with what I say there too." Aqua nodded her head.

"I agree." I nodded my head too. "So, what's everyone going to do today?"

"Well, I'm taking Rachel and Rakko out to the baby park so he could play with some other babies." Yakko said. "And then we're going to eat lunch."

"How about you Dot?"

"I'm gonna stay at home here and read some romance novels while eating chocolate. What about you guys?" she responded.

"I'm taking my girl out to the movies." I said as I held out 2 tickets. "And then spending the rest of the day doing other things too."

"Oh my gosh darling. I don't know what to say." Aqua smiled and clapped her paws lightly.

"You don't have to." I smiled at her. "Now let's get you ready so we can start our date."

"But I don't have anything nice to wear." she told me as she finished eating her breakfast.

"Not a problem. Do me a favor first."

"What is it?"

I held her into my arms like a princess. "Hold on tight."

"Umm okay." she said as she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me tight.

"Here we go." I said as I slowly started spinning around with her in my arms. After we spun around for a few seconds, I put her down to see her in a sparkly red dress. "Wow." my heart thumped.

"Oh my goodness. I like it." Aqua said as she twirled a bit to see the dress flow around her.

"You look stunning." I smiled and kissed her hand in a princely way.

She giggled. "You're so romantic."

"Oh boy. Dot, look what you did to me." I chuckled.

"Well, all women deserved to be felt special." Dot giggled slightly.

"Okay. You're right. Now then, shall we?"

"Yes we shall." Aqua smiled as she started going out.

"Let's go." I smiled as I went out after her. So from there on, we went out to go to the movies. We had a great time seeing the romance movie that was showing. After the movies I treated her to lunch. After we came back home, we gave each other a spa day and exchanged gifts.

(Hours later...)

As I we were done for today, we both snuggled up in bed together. "Mmm~" I hummed as soft as rose petals.

"That was a really great Valentine's Day baby. You've really outdone yourself." Aqua took off my hat and started petting my head.

I yawned. "I'll say." I said as I wagged my tail while she was petting me. "Aqua?"

"What is it my love?"

"Was I worth it to you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I'm asking if I was worth meeting?"

"Of course you are worth meeting Wakko. You've brought me back to so many things I've missed back in the past. Friendship, love, laughter, and family."

"Aww, really?" I looked up at her and rubbed her belly.

"Yes really."

I sat up and leaned in to kiss her lips. After I pulled back, I smiled at her. "I'm really glad that I was able to help in any way possible. Even the impossible."

She giggled. "Yeah." she yawned.

I smiled and laid the blanket on top of her. "Looks like it's that time to go to bed."

"Y-Yeah." she rubbed her eyes.

I helped her get more comfortable by laying down myself and then placing her head on my chest so we can be closer together. "How's this?"

"Perfect." she nuzzled me.

I nuzzled back and held her hand. "Goodnight my mermaid princess. And goodnight to you too my child." I rubbed her belly to give her belly some love.

"Goodnight my drummer boy." she yawned and closed her eyes. Falling into a deep sleep while grinning.

I smiled at my loves and closed my eyes drifting to sleep. Today was the best Valentine's Day I could ever ask for in my life.
