Marissa's POV

"The plan is—" Michai started to say.

"Oh I know! We stay here for ages until they give up and let us go!" Brinna said happily, but since her cutiemark disappeared she didn't stay happy for long so her smile disappeared.

"No! We say that we will join them!" Michai said.

"But it's been only one night they won't believe us!" Rainbow said.

"Not all of us but one." Michai said looking at me.

"WHAT!!!!" I said.

"You are super convincing! Look at you! You don't even look like a person that betrays people!" Sierra said.

"But—" I wanted to say but changed my mind. "Fine as long as we get our cutiemarks back." I said.

"What will I do once I'm out?" I asked.

"Simple, just go to that cave and get our cutiemarks." Michai said.

"That's seems simple." I said. A few seconds later the door opened. Showing Starlight's disgusting face.

"Hello girls!" Starlight said. She brought us all outside but since we had no energy to fight we couldn't attack.

"Anyone who would want to join us?" Starlight asked us.

"LIKE ANY OF US WOULD JOIN YOU!!!!" Dakota said responded angrily.

"Well isn't that a disappointment. Sorry villagers! I guess there will be no new friends today!" Starlight said to the village. They were bringing us back to the house that we were just trapped in a few minutes ago. Michai hit my foot which gave the signal.

"I would like to join!" I said out of nowhere.

"Really?" Starlight said.

"Marissa? How could you!?" Michai said with a sad face.

"Well, they did everything they could to make us happy and they did that by making us all equal." I said without thinking.

"Well we have a new friend! We would have a celebration!" Starlight said joyfully. The rest of the team went back to the house and I saw Michai smirk a little when she went in.

"Well, I heard that there are people who is dying to get back their cutiemarks! They want to get it back to be talented! But if they're talented they would be superior which makes us not equal!" Starlight said. I heard gasps and whispers all around me. I knew where this was going, I swallowed a little because I needed to come up with some thing fast to protect Sugar Tiana and the others.

"But Marissa over here knows who they are. So will you kindly point at who these people are, If you truly are one of us." Starlight said with a smirk.

"Um, sorry but I don't know what they look like, I simply forgot." I said without thinking.

"Surely you would be reminded if you look at the crowd. Just simply point at the ones that look familiar to you." Starlight said. I didn't know what to say, if I didn't point at someone the whole plan would be messed up.

"It was me!" Someone shouted. The people parted away to see who said it. It was the guy he was beside the girl and Sugar Tiana.

"It was me! It was only me." He said sadly. Starlight later on locked him up in the house that my friends were in.

"Well we have a new friend! We should celebrate!" Starlight said delightedly. Everyone was happy.

"It's our tradition that we would all build your house together for the whole day." Starlight said.

"So, are we going to start building it?" I asked Starlight.

"Of course! Everyone gather the materials!" Starlight shouted. We all built my "temporary house" and we finished it by sunset.

At midnight...

"Ok Charlize, just go to that cave and get the cutiemarks back, just what Michai said it's simple." I told myself.

I walked but I totally for got which direction was the cave, the town looks the same so I can't tell the difference if I already went there. I ended up at Starlight's house.

"Starlight, I brought the cutiemarks here but why do you need it?" Snow Diamond said holding jars containing the cutiemarks of me and my friends.

"I just need it to be secure." Starlight said.

"But Marissa is one if us now surely she won't be betraying us." Snow Diamond said, I also wondered if I really looked that innocent.

"I just want to be... Sure, you can leave now Snow Diamond" Starlight said. Snow Diamond left and went to his house.

"Oh gosh, what am I going to do!" I whispered to myself. If the cutiemarks are there I can't get them! I heard Starlight being dumped by water upstairs so I flew up and checked the window. A bucket of water spilled on her, I giggled a little cause I really wanted to see her embarrassed. She placed the cutiemarks on the bedside table and got her towel to wipe herself, when she finished I noticed something. SHE HAD HER OWN UNIQUE CUTIEMARK.

Starlight's cutiemark

She covers it by placing purple eyeshadow to match her clothes and uses a piece of paper that has the equal sign and uses a grey eyeshadow to make it look like her cutiemark. I gasped loudly and hid since she heard it, a few seconds later she left and I went back to my "temporary house".
