Overview

Lilian Andromeda Black (b. 1st August, 1980) "Andy" was a Pureblood witch, the only child and daughter of Sirius and Jasmine Black (née Lupin), and was the godchild of James and Lily Potter (née Evans). Lilian was named after Lily Potter, her mother's best friend. She was born one day after the infamous Harry Potter and her mother died giving birth to her while, her father Sirius Black, was taken to Azkaban when she was a year and practically 3 months. Lilian middle name is Andromeda, the reason for her middle name being that is her father's favorite cousin is Andromeda Tonks (née Black). Jasmine Lupin chose Severus Snape as her godfather and Sirius Black chose Lily Potter as her godmother. Her mother chose Severus Snape because they were best friends.

Due to her father being in Azkaban, she was given to the Mrs. Figg with Harry and was raised by her. She was unable to go to her uncle, Remus Lupin, because he was a werewolf. She likes being called Lilian and her nickname is Lily, a nickname she dislikes. Given to her by a 2 year old Harry Potter. Lilian was not there when Lily Potter and James Potter were killed but was found by Hagrid shortly after Harry Potter was found.

Physical appearance

Lilian is a good mixture of her father and her mother. Her brown skin was given to her by her mother. Lilian is a beautiful girl who is 11 years old and she has long, lustrous black hair and dark brown eyes. Her mother was born with straight, long brown hair but the curls came from her father and mother. Her aristocratic beauty was passed down from the Black Family. She has bright, white teeth but is smaller and thinner than Harry. She has a round face and knobby knees.

Though both of her parents are tall she very short while growing up, and is shorter than all of the kids in her year. She grows taller than Hermione by her fourth year. Lilian has amazing vision and hearing. She doesn't have any scars and her hair is mostly down in curls when she's out and about. Her grey eyes were given to her by her father and due to her mother having dark brown eyes, they seem to be a dark brown when seen far away but up close they are dark grey.

Personality and traits

Lilian is very brave, loyal and intelligent. She will do anything to help others and will risk her life for her friends and family. She is very strong-willed and has a personality similar to Harry's due to being each other's only friend for over 9 years. She has a strong sense of morals and herself and doesn't enjoy complaining due to finding it useless and unnecessary. She tries to look for the good the people and always has her nose in books. Her interest for books and knowledge is what sets her apart from being a Gryffindor.

She isn't very outspoken unless angered and has fiery temper. She has a large amount of trust for her friends and enjoys going to school, unlike everyone else. She doesn't enjoy fighting but is good at charms and hexes. She questions her parents love for her and can be very distant. She is more of the 'suffer silently' than 'openly emotional with her problems' once she gets older. She dislikes being teased and doesn't enjoy yelling. Her quiet nature is due to the constant bullying from Dudley and all of the kids in school besides Harry.

Her first friend is Hermione and enjoys speaking to her since she was her first friend. She sees Harry more as a brother than a friend. She stands up for Muggle borns, Squibs and Half bloods when being harassed by Purebloods, something that most of her family doesn't do. Lilian is able to control what she dreams and has nightmares about once a year until she immediately snaps out of it and changes what she was dreaming about.

She will not believe that others have done something wrong unless evidence against them, only if she has a gut feeling she will trust it and follow it. Due to her bad relationship with other Ravenclaws because of her family name, she is disliked by many of them, though not all. Though most of the people in the school think of certain Houses in a rude manner she doesn't have a strong dislike for certain groups.

Magical ability and skills

Lilian is a very talented and skillful witch, but she is awful at controlling a broomstick in the beginning but by her 5th year at Hogwarts she is very good at it, but not as good as her father or Harry. She was able to conjure a Patronus at the same age as Harry. She is very good with animals and potions. Good and bad are underneath
