I woke up to see Finchpaw, he was cleaning his fur not far off. I padded up to him, I sat beside him.
"I am so happy we get to be warriors today," I said, he gave me a nod.
"Me too but what will happen in the future?" Finchpaw asked, before I had time to reply Lionstars voice rang out.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around to hear my words," Lionstar called, I sat down next to Finchpaw, Mousepaw and my brother Jaypaw.
"I wonder what my warrior name will be?" Mousepaw said.
"Hollypaw, Jaypaw, Mousepaw, Finchpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect this clan even at the cost of your own life?" Lionstar called.
"I do," we said in unison.
"Then by the power of starclan I give you your warrior names, Hollypaw from this moment on you shall be known as Hollyfang, Jaypaw from this moment on you shall be known as Jayclaw, Mousepaw from this moment on you shall be known as Mouseleaf, Finchpaw from this moment on you shall be known as Finchleap starclan honers your loyalty and we welcome you as full warriors of this clan," Lionstar said, we all nodded and went to Poppyclaw to see what we had to do first.
"You four will do a hunting patrol, now get to it before we all go hungry and the snow comes," Poppyclaw said her gaze calm but her voice as angry as an elder, we padded out into the forest.
"Hey Jayclaw, Mouseleaf you go hunt by sunning rocks me and Hollyfang will go hunt by snake rocks,"Finchleap said, I followed him to snake rocks while Jayclaw and Mouseleaf went towards sunning rocks. When we got to snake rocks we hid because what we saw would kill us if it got the chance, it's gaze drifted towards us. I knew that if we made a sound, we would be in big trouble.
