I woke to a sunny day, I yawned. Beside me Finchfeather was asleep, I prodded him on the side and he woke up.
"Come on lazy Tom we have stuff to do," I said, we padded out to find the camp almost empty. Lionstar padded over to us, his gaze happy.
"Morning you two, you missed the patrols I sent out today, anyway the camp is mostly empty because I ordered more patrols even since what happened," Lionstar said, my pelt rose.
"What if we were attacked," I said, lion stars gaze was thoughtful.
"True you do have a point so you two can guard camp," Lionstar said, in the distance a yowl and barking was heard. We pelted towards it, when we got there we saw Deathblaze on the ground almost non moving. Foxberry had managed to drag him away and was working on him while we all fought the massive dog, we managed to back it up all the way to the gorge. I slammed into it, it grabbed me as it fell. As I felt my paws leave solid ground I looked a Finchfeather who's eyes were filled with horror, I fell and landed in the water. I tried to swim but shock overwhelmed me, I opened my eyes and saw two starclan cats. I thought my life was over until they pulled me out, they faded before I could say thank you. I lay there until everyone came down to see if I was ok, i didn't reply I only looked at them but said nothing. When my pelt dried I got up and padded back to camp, I lay in my nest to think but soon fell asleep.
