I woke up to yowling, I poked my head out to see that shadowclan had attacked us. I went in and woke my kits, their heads shot up.
"Quickly my kits shadowclan have invaded we must go," I said, they were confused.
"But mama we don't want to go," Lillykit cried, I nuzzled her. The fighting was growing stronger, my eyes were wide with fear.
"Quickly now," I said, I grabbed both kits in my jaws. I snuck through the shadows and the snow filled forest, I headed towards four trees. I yowled as I felt something heavy land on my back, my kits ended up in the freezing snow. I shoved my attacker off me, I spun around to see a large grey Tom.
"Leave me and my kits alone," I spat.
"It's my job to kill all the kits," he said, I lunged at him. He dodged and I spun in the air to face him, he was taken by surprise as I scratched his side. My kits hid in the warmth of a bush, I lunged at the Tom again but this time he pinned me. I struggled under his weight, he unsheathed his claws. I tried to get him off as he bit down on my throat, I looked at my kits horrified faces. He bit down harder, my vision was fading and I knew my time was coming. I watched as Finchfeather came and attacked the Tom, he came to my side.
"I-I love y-you Finchfeather and I-I always w-w-will," I managed to say.
"Hey hey it's ok your going to be fine," he choked out from his sadness.
"M-make sure our k-kits grow up to be s-stronge warriors," I choked out my life leaving me.
"I promise," Finchfeather cried, I smiled and my eyes started closing. I opened my eyes to see my body , my kits and my mate wailing. I padded up to their side, I knew they could not see me.
"We will be together again one day my love," I whispered, I knew he couldn't hear me. I saw some starclan cats waiting for me, I padded over to them.
"They will be fine I promise," a tabby one said, I followed them into starclan.
