[1] Karma X Blind! Reader

Karma decided that he had enough.

His plans weren't working, he wasn't able to get her attention, he didn't progress in their relationship, and he also didn't manage to learn anything he wanted from her.

What was the point? Why was he even still doing this?

It was all his fault.

He stared at the screen loading in front of him again, showing the circling in the center of the screen yet again for the last 15 minutes. He grew increasingly frustrated as his classmates' snickering started up yet again. With an obvious edge to his voice, he turned around in his chair and glared at his classmates. They stopped for a moment, before erupting in laughter at his demise.

"Oh really?~ You guys are going to laugh while I'm obviously angered about the fact that Korosensei hacked into my laptop and deleted all my plans?"

There was the awkward silence yet again as everybody who was laughing shut their mouths immediately and sweatdropped.

"Well, do you remember your plans? It may help, as I usually try to remember things in my head as I usually can't write it down or type it up."

The entire class looked towards the voice as [Name] smiled back at Karma's general direction in sympathy.

"I kind of understand as I tried voice recording my plans but Korosensei ended up hacking into it and recorded himself singing a doraemon song. I was quite confused but he did compliment me on my plans and pointed out my flaws so I was quite happy afterwards too be honest."

Karma looked back at his now glitching laptop and sighed in frustration, grabbing onto his hair and messing it up angrily. He turned back to [Name] and murmured,

"Yeah... I still remember the gist of it, but all the details and calculations I put into it are all ruined! I'm so angry!"

Before [Name] could answer back, the bell rung and Korosensei came through the door to teach the next class, with green lines across his yellow face, obviously belittling and smirking at Karma with his signature 'Nufufufufu~'. Everyone in the class went back to their seats, [Name] with the help of Karma did as well, she could guess what Korosensei's face was like according to Nagisa's description of him in his diary.

As the class went on, Karma couldn't help but glance at the blind girl a few times. He had always wondered why she was in the Class E. Although she was blind, she wasn't a troublemaker and she had above average grades. He had seen her a few times before and she seemed to be friends with a few people in her previous classes as well, so it didn't seem as though she was isolated.

He wasn't particularly close with her, not that she was particularly close with anyone in the class anyway. She talked to a few people at times, and sometimes hung out with them, but she never initiated it. He pondered about her for some time before deciding to get closer to her to know more about her compared to other people in the class, as she was quite mysterious among the class.

After perhaps the 7th or 8th time of glancing at her, he looked up at Korosensei and saw him with his entire face pink, blushing. Grinning quite widely, looking at between him and [Name] consecutively numerous times, causing quite a lot of people in the class to look at them. He leaned onto his arm giving a faint 'devil' smile back giving a 'what?' signal to the entire class. The class quickly turned back as Korosensei quickly reverted to his pokerface as he continued on with the class.

Karma sighed as he started dozing off, not looking at [Name] for the rest of the period. Well... maybe just once more.

-------------------------------------

At The End of School~

He stared the figure getting up from her chair as several students started going towards her to help her out of the classroom. Before properly thinking out what he had just done, he leapt of his chair and latched onto [Name]'s arm, in which she reacted by jolting a bit at the sudden contact.

"So~ I have something planned with [Name] today after school today, do you want to join us?~"

Seemingly knowing that Karma had decided once again to do something impromptu that for some reason involved her, [Name] nodded her head in agreement.

"Yeah... we had something planned for today after school, just doing 'Karma things' you know."

Karma looked at [Name] a bit shocked as he was expecting a slight refusal or some confusion, but instead she just went along with him. He turned his head and gave his signature grin at the shocked classmates in front of him before they muttered a no, and went ahead, saying their few farewells to [Name]. Telling her to be careful and to protect herself from the 'devil', in which she pleasantly nodded back and gave her thanks.

When the class had become empty, [Name] tilted her head towards Karma in confusion. Karma immediately blushed at the embarrassment as he didn't plan what he was going to do next after grabbing [Name] from his classmates.

"So... do you wanna go down?~ I have lots of things planned~"

"...Sure."

She adjusted the bandage across her eyes and grabbed her walking stick next to her desk and started to guide herself towards the door, Karma slowly walked behind, being sure that she wouldn't hit into anything, although he didn't need to, since the girl was pretty competent at walking around by herself.

As they walked down the mountain, Karma supported her down the steep steps by holding her arm, which was quite instinctive, as she was usually helped up and down the mountain by others in the class. Karma initiated some small talk about how he had replaced Korosensei's stash of chocolate with chocolate scented mint, in which Korosensei ended up fuming at him about. She listened to his story as she laughed alongside him, he hoped that she was enjoying going along with his whims.

When they arrived down at the campus, several students were glancing at them, noticeably at [Name] in pity while sniggering to themselves. Although Karma was used to it and usually retaliated, he noticed the sudden silence from [Name] as she quietly continued walking, ignoring all the snickers.

They were suddenly interrupted by a group of girls who came towards and started a conversation.

"[Name]! It's been a long time since we've seen you, well ever since you went to the End Class. How have you been? What's it like with the students there? They're all students at the bottom of the school, although you're grades have been fine, why are you there? You fit in though?"

Karma gritted his teeth at the obvious rude remarks and emphasis on his class. He looked around and there were several students crowding around looking at the spectacle, looking down on them. He looked back to [Name]. She had completely froze, facing down.

Another one of the girls spoke up.

"Well... I mean you are blind. It doesn't really make sense for you to be at the top with us, you need a lot of help just walking around and stuff. Kinda like special treatment. Well, if you weren't blind then maybe-"

She was interrupted by the sound of a bag thrown onto the floor. She gulped as she glanced up at the source of the noise, the red haired boy was smirking. He twirled around, looking at everyone in the crowd before sneering,

"What are you guys doing here? What's so funny? Did you forget that I'm here too? If you're looking for trouble, I'm right here~ Come on, come~"

The crowd immediately dispersed after that. The group of girls stammered their farewells before scrambling off.

With a 'hmph' he leaned down to pick up he bag, before hearing a 'thank you' from the girl next to him.

He gave her a smile before speaking again to her in his usual tone.

"No worries~ They were looking for a fight anyway."

She gave a slight nod before continually walking again, this time, initiating the small talk, about how there's a gelato store near the school that had recently opened.

For the next hour or so, both of them walked around the streets, going to the gelato store [Name] had suggested and going to different stores to buy snacks. In between, they were busily talking about Karma's plans that were hacked as they tried to think of ways to hide assassination plans from Korosensei.

They came to a park and sat down on the bench, continuing their conversation. Karma came up with the idea that they could both talk to each other about each other's plans so the other person could be a backup for memory. After the conversation, an awkward silence settled on them as they didn't know what else to talk about.

Suddenly, [Name] had brought up the question she had wanted to ask before they had left.

"Karma, why did you decide to take me along today? Didn't you say you had something planned for me? We've only been walking around the streets eating the entire time."

By this time, Karma had already thought of the perfect response for the question he was expecting to hear the entire time.

"Well... you're kinda mysterious, so I wanna find your weakness to mess with you~

...and kinda to get to know you better since I don't know you well"

She didn't answer for a bit before chuckling a little.

"Oh sure~ go ahead, I don't think I'm mysterious but if you say so haha~ so are you going to be doing this everyday, just hanging out with me?"

He didn't expect the question so he pondered a bit before replying a 'sure'.

[Name] grabbed her walking stick and stood up, turning her head towards Karma.

"Well then! Since you need to find my weakness and want to get closer to me, I guess we're frenemies? This may be good for learning weaknesses about people to use against Korosensei, so I'll try to find your weakness too?"

With a sneer, he stood up and in an arrogant tone, he answered cheerfully,

"Well, if you want to. Not that you'll be able to anyway~"

The girl chuckled again as she muttered a 'you'll see haha'.

The next few days were quite normal again, however, after school, Karma for some reason always swooped [Name] away for some 'business' with [Name] steadily agreeing, confusing several of their classmates.

"They weren't really close before right?"

Kayano whispered to the blue haired boy next to her.

"Yeah, I've never really seen them talk to each other before..."

Walking across the campus again, the students became more wary of [Name], mostly because of the red head next to her glancing at them every once and then. They did their daily routine of going to several stores buying snacks and just having small conversations. in cafés, they discussed their plans to assassination Korosensei.

At the end of each day, just before they said their farewells, they would always go to the park and sit down on the bench in silence. Just enjoying each other's company, having their never-ending small talk.

Over time, they became quite close 'frenemies', they would always head off together without a word after school, which invoked ever more curiosity and confusion from the rest of the class. When the class asked Korosensei whether he knew what they were doing, he merely gave them him classic white pokerface as he whistled away.

After some time, this soon became a routine as no one really questioned why they would leave together as when they did, he either got a non-serious answer from Karma or a chuckle from [Name], providing no answers.

One day however, unexpectedly, [Name] immediately went out the classroom by herself as soon as class had ended, although it was not the end of school yet. When someone, including Karma, went to her to ask if she wanted help down the mountain, she refused immediately, telling them to leave her alone, not letting the other party squeeze in another word. She slammed the door open and guided herself down the mountain. Karma and a few students followed her down at first, however, when [Name] heard their footsteps behind her, she immediately turned back and snapped.

"Don't fucking follow me! I told you already! I'm fucking fine!"

The students who followed behind her, especially Karma flinched at the sudden outburst. Karma noticed her slightly huffing in anger and decided to leave her alone to give her some space.

"Let's go, Korosensei's waiting for us~ She'll be fine~"

Reluctantly, they went up, not without turning back a few times at [Name]'s retreating back down the mountain.

As soon as school ended, Karma immediately went to Korosensei in the staffroom and asked if anything had happened it [Name].

Korosensei merely told him that she went down to the campus because of something urgent, and she might still be there.

At this, he sprinted down the mountain, past all the confused stares from his classmates. When he arrived at the campus, there wasn't really anything out of the ordinary, until he heard echoing unusual laughter from the hall. It was faint, but he could tell something was wrong. After pondering for a minute, he decided that [Name] probably did have something urgent and had went home by then.

Sighing at his brash actions, he decided to check out what the noise was all about. Might've been something interesting too~

When he arrived at the source of the noise, the hall, he heard a name. A name he didn't expect to hear.

He opened the doors, and was horrified.

[Name]'s bandages were off. They were never off. They always on, no matter where she was. Why was it off?

When he registered the fact, he looked around her, there were numerous students from the Main Course, laughing, giggling, sneering at the figure in front of them, with a phone in hand, seemingly recording the scene. [Name] was kneeling down, head drooped down, above a bucket of water. He saw hands on her neck, head, ears, everywhere. Pushing her entire head into the bucket of water, ignoring her obvious choking. He was still relatively calm, he was in a daze for a few seconds.

But when he saw the girl who had recently belittled her in front of him stab her fingers in [Name]'s eye unopened eye sockets while [Name]'s desperate pleas turned to screams.

He lost it.

He didn't know what was happening afterwards, he was infuriated. Seething. Enraged.

He sprinted towards the group of students, them suddenly noticing his presence. He bashed heir heads in. He punched them, kicked them, threw them. He did everything he could from what he had learnt from Karasuma's PE classes. He was in blind rage.

By this time, all the students outside heard the commotion, including those from Class E. They didn't know what was happening and several guys restrained Karma with great effort, trying to access the situation. However, a blood-curdling scream was prominent as they all immediately stopped and looked at the girl who was screaming. It was Kayano. She was visibly shaken and trembling at what was in front of her.

In front of her was a girl, whose eyes had never been seen. There was blood dripping down from her empty sockets, with tears mixed in. The girl herself was whimpering, crying, rocking herself on the floor.

With this, the students from Class E went into an uproar. The guys who were holding Karma down let go and immediately went into blind rage. Thankfully, in a second, a yellow figure was seen all the students from the Main Course were knocked out. However, just before they passed out, they saw a petrifying face, black and wrinkled in the middle. His entire jaw of teeth were seen, seething with anger, with bloodshot eyes.

Class E stopped, and stared at their teacher. In an instant, their teacher was by [Name]'s side.

Eerily calm, he picked her up and stared down at the figure he was carrying. He quietly took the wet, bloodied bandages on the floor and gently wrapped it around [Name]'s eyes.

"I'll take her to the hospital and be beside her the whole time. I will make sure that this incident is to be made known to the principal. I will also take care of the unconscious students. All of you. Go home. Now."

There were no comments from any of the students, as they quietly went out the hall. Karasuma-sensei and Bitch-sensei were outside panting, as they calmly told the students to follow them to treat their wounds.

All the students followed them without a word.

--------------------------------------------

The next few days were quiet. [Name] didn't come to class. Korosensei also didn't, Karasuma and Bitch-sensei  replaced him for several subjects as no one in the class dared talk about the elephant in the room.

At the end of each day, Karma went off by himself without a word. No one in the class talked to him, they knew that he felt guilty. They knew that he felt like that he was responsible since he was the one that let [Name] go down by herself.

After all the awkward days in the classroom, Korosensei came back.

Immediately, all the students bombarded him questions about [Name] and her condition. He answered each one saying that 'she's fine' and 'she's resting at the moment'.

He explained to every one of the students that he had told the incident to Principal Asano and he had expelled all the students involved. He also issued an apology and gave his sympathy towards [Name]. The class was outraged at the disrespect and obvious insincere reaction.

Karma just sat at the back of his classroom in his seat by himself, not looking up at the teacher. Korosensei noticed him and went towards him, giving him a pat on the shoulder, with the students giving sympathetic looks towards him.

At the end of class, just as Karma was about to leave by himself yet again, Korosensei called him to the staffroom.

When they arrived, with a smirk, Karma sneered,

"What do you want Korosensei~ You're letting me to be alone with you even I can kill you right now~?"

"Karma, I know you're not fine and you feel guilty for what has happened to [Name],  but it's not your fault."

With a sudden change of attitude, Karma objected,

"I was the one who let her go down by herself and told everyone to go back to the classroom. If I didn't do so, she would've been fine."

Sighing, knowing that he wouldn't be able to send his point across to the child, he gave him a small slip of paper.

Karma took it and opened it, giving the teacher a confused look.

"That's the permission slip for [Name]'s ward in hospital. I think you should go and see her. I haven't given this to anyone else, so don't tell anyone."

The red-haired boy immediately sprinted out the door and down the mountain.

"You kids can come in now~"

A group of students came in, with a sheepish look on their face.

"Now, what did you come here for nufufufufufu~"

Isogai answered,

"Well, we wanted to see what you wanted to talk to Karma about, and were hoping to convince him along with you that he wasn't the one responsible for what happened to [Name}..."

"Nufufufufufufufu~ oh well~ and what did you hear?"

They sweatdropped as Nagisa spoke up.

"Absolutely nothing. What did you do? For some reason we couldn't hear anything..."

Their teacher laughed as he gave them a wink.

"It's a secret."

------------------------------------------

Karma Currently...

He sprinted down the mountain, sprinted past all the fearful stares from the students from the main course. Past the gelato shop he and [Name] ate at, past the park where they said their farewells.

He finally arrived at the hospital.

He gave his slip to the nurse at the front desk who guided him to a door. She then left and he stood outside pondering what he was going to do once he saw her.

"Come in."

He tensed at the voice and sighed.

He pushed the door and closed it behind him. He saw the figure in front of him on the bed. She was wearing the hospital gown with several clean bandages around her eyes. He stared at the sight.

"Sit down Karma."

He quietly took a chair and sat down beside her bed.

"...how did you know it was me?"

The girl put her hand onto her chin, seemingly as though she was wondering about how to answer.

"Psychic powers?"

There was a silence.

"Just joking~ Korosensei told me that you were would probably come after school, I didn't know why but I believed him. And here you are."

Karma gently grabbed her hand under her chin and grasped it in both his hands as he laid his head on them. Silently, his hands started trembling.

"Why... why didn't you tell me? I thought I was finally closer to you, I... I thought we were friends..."

She turned her body to face him as she took her other hand to grasp his hands. She then also laid her head on them as she gripped him tighter.

"Technically, we were frenemies no? And well, it was a game to find each other's weaknesses, I didn't want to lose the game that quickly you know?"

The boy started tearing up.

"But... but you should've told me! I was so worried! I believed that you wouldn't do anything stupid! I- I believed in you..."

"Well, I'm sorry that this happened. I'm happy you believed in me though. I'm sorry that I worried you..."

"This- this is all my fault, if- if I didn't let you go by yourself! This is all my fault!"

At this point, the boy was full on crying. The girl wasn't so sure on what to do. She always had the vision that he was a strong person who wouldn't cry. And although they've been pretty close, she never thought that he would worry about her that much.

She tilted her head so that it was on his.

"It's not your fault. Honestly, if you had all followed me, this would've happened anyway, when I started attending Class E, I expected this. So don't worry..."

She then gave a slight chuckle.

"Well~ I've never seen you cry before huh? Does this mean that I've found your weakness? Seems like I won the game right?"

He immediately tensed.

"It's over? Ha, that's right. I lost. I didn't even manage to find your weakness. It's all over... this entire thing is over huh?"

He relaxed his hands to let go and lifted his head, and just as he was standing up, she gripped him harder, pulling him down. She tilted her head against his yet again.

"Now, wait a moment. Don't get ahead of yourself. Sure you didn't find my weakness, but you did get closer to me right? That was one of your goals, so technically, you also won right?"

"What... what are you talking about~? I lost, I didn't find your weakness, you won~..."

"Nah, you also won, you wanted to be closer to me as well, you don't remember, I'm offended. You forgot your declaration of friendship~"

He once again gripped her hands and looked up at her.

"So... if I won, what does that mean?"

She gave a sigh as though she was disappointed with his answer.

"And that means, since we both won, the game is over, and we're not frenemies anymore!"

He gave a chuckle, it was quite a depressing chuckle. [Name] wasn't expecting such a sound from the boy in front of her.

"Ha, so the game's over. Guess we have no need to even hang out with each other anymore, since we're not frenemies anymore, we weren't even friends in the first place."

Once again, the girl gave a disappointed sigh. He banged her head against the boy and straightforwardly said,

"Are you stupid? Weren't you supposed to be smart? Okay, I'll explain it to you, oh my god. Remember you won cause you're closer to me now right? And I won since I found out your weakness, which is that you blame yourself a lot for little things. So since we're not frenemies, and you're close to me, while I know you're weakness which concerns me, aren't we friends now?!"

After her gallant speech, [Name] gave herself a 'hmph' as though she was proud of herself.

Flabberghasted, Karma lifted up his head and gave an 'oh'.

After an awkward silence, Karma spoke up.

"What are you talking about~? That's not my weakness~ That means I won and you lost right~?"

The silent girl made a confused sound as she tilted her head sideways in confusion.

"Wh- what are you talking about? That's not right. I'm pretty sure I got your weakness, you were even crying in front of me?!"

Karma gripped her hands as he sneered.

"Well, you got it wrong. My weakness isn't that I blame myself a lot for minor things...

It's you.

He leaned forwards towards her as he placed his lips on top of hers.

And that's the end of that story. Sorry that it took me so long to write it up. I had lost my previous two oneshots and just decided to write a new one off the top of my head.

So I wrote this in 4 hours (I procrastinated and went off track quite a few times), just on the go, there wasn't any plan or anything and I had no idea where it was going and ended up being longer than expected, but I really enjoyed writing again after so long.

Of course since this was an impromptu one-shot, it isn't as good, so I do apologise. I also apologise for any grammatical errors and spelling mistakes as this was written as it progressed.

Please comment down below for requests and scenarios. You can also dm me, and if you want very specific scenarios in the oneshot, I would recommend you to dm me so when I do write it up, others aren't spoiled.

And since these are a lot longer than Book 1, the updates will be slower, also due to my health. I hope you still enjoy these one shots though.

Thank you for the support.

If you have any criticism or complaints, you are welcome to do so.

HiraethTempo over.
