So after the whole, I know your spies and what not, Clint and Natasha really warmed up to us. You know after telling SHIELD we weren't a threat that is.

SHIELD still didn't exactly believe that we weren't a threat but after a person who had high authority, his name was Phil, talked to me and how we do things he signed off that, no. No we weren't a threat to SHIELD, the government, or to the two spies that actually sometimes hang out with us after a secret mission.

So it was three months later and that's when it happened. The sky opened up and actual aliens started to invade earth.

But instead of evacuating we picked up guns and, because let's be honest these weren't human and were obviously a threat, and we started to help other people out of New York.

I wasn't far behind the group of superheroes that seemed to be taking care of the ones and trying to shut down the portal. I saw Iron Man or Tony Stark.

Funny story there. You see, when I first was a runaway I did some digging.

Tony Stark was my motherfing uncle.

I never told him or even bothered to meet him because at the time he was going from woman to woman, and selling weapons.

When he was kidnapped and taken in Afghanistan I was worried. I cared for my family even if I never met the man.

Thankful for when he returned I acted like nothing was wrong. The only person who knew that Tony Stark was my uncle was Hector who understood why I didn't bother with the man.

There was also that thing where Tony Stark had no clue how to take care of a kid, had a crappy childhood himself, and was busy saving the world and taking care of his weapons to even really bother me.

I was fine with living on my own anyway. I didn't want to paparazzi bothering me either, didn't want rumors about me, I wanted to stay in the shadows away from that life.

Plus, I was busy running this place and after expanding to a few in Mexico, don't ask we have few far out of the country that some of the money go to, to help the villages and people there, and even some in Europe and England.

We were expanding our expertise and helping people. Giving them an area to eat, sleep, and just have to not worry about things.

Anyway, back to the aliens invading earth.

I covered Natasha who was with Captain America and sometimes Clint when an alien got to close. It's been a bit since I used a gun so I was a little rusty but not enough to not hit the target.

When Natasha spotted me she gave me a thumbs up before quickly killing another alien dude. Natasha then jumped on one of the alien flying machines and was gone as Captain America went to help other people.

It continued like this however it was coming toward an end when I saw that Iron Man had a nuke in his arms and was heading toward the portal.

My heart practically stopped when he went through the portal. Then it started closing and my breathing was very shallow.

Hector was beside me and placed a hand on my shoulder. We both waited until the portal closed but when it did there was a shiny metal man falling through it.

I didn't realize that my heart sped up a bit and a let loose a breath because the next moment I noticed that the figure wasn't stopping.

I finally relaxed as the giant green fellow, news calls him Hulk, jumped from one building to another catching Tony and then set him on the ground.

Running toward them but staying hidden I watched as Tony Stark started to breath again. I finally felt relaxed after the battle and allowed myself to be taken back to the compound to have people get ready to help clean-up.

Looking around at the smashed buildings I decided that this project. Project Clean-Up, was going to take a bit of time.

It was when it was dark and everyone got a bit of sleep that everyone, including little kids, picked up a broom and started to sweep smashed glass, pick up rubble and start to clean up the streets of New York City.

Today was the day that New York City would forever remember the attack from aliens and the day the Avengers were formed.

Especially me. I would definitely remember it.

Along the rubble was a crash ride that one of the aliens were riding and narrowing my eyes I got help from the others and placed it on the truck that we brought. I was going to go through it to see if there was anything that could help humanity.

With that, when it was starting to be day. We packed up and drove back to the compound. After setting that alien ride down in the garage we took the trash to the dump area to be processed and destroyed.

Tomorrow we'll start on rebuilding some stores that were really smashed.
