Y/N's POV
"Say wha now?" Sky asked with wide eyes. I giggled quietly at the way he said it.
"Uhh...who?" S/N asked confusedly.
I pondered over the name, but Entity 303 didn't really ring a bell. I shook my head. "No clue."
Seto sighed. "There's only one way to be a light sorcerer, and that is to have turned from the dark sorcerer's ways. I despised my father from a young age and ran away, vowing to never be like him. Eventually, I became the light sorcerer you see now."
Sky stood up from the bed with a frown, deep in thought. He looked at Seto without saying anything. Seto gave a small frown, and I realized they were doing that telepathy thing. I wish I could hear what they were saying....
---w, Sky. I'm the only child as far as I know, so I have no reference to know if that's possible....
Holy Notch, was that Seto?! He definitely wasn't talking out loud....
Why hadn't you told us before?
Was I hearing their telepathic conversation?
Seto huffed and crossed his arms, earning a confused glance from Samuel and S/N. For the same reason you never told us your father was Herobrine. You wouldn't have trusted me even though I have no connection with him anymore.
"I did that with my N/F...." I muttered. "I didn't tell them because Father was evil and they wouldn't have trusted me, either...."
Seto and Sky looked at me in shock. "Hold up, can you hear our conversation?!" Sky asked with wide eyes.
I frowned. "I...I think? I'm...really confused.... First, my weapon appears out of nowhere when I'm in stress...." I gesture at the diamond swordbow on the ground before picking it up and holstering it to my side again. "...and now I'm...hearing telepathic conversations?"
"Not only that, this was a private telepathic conversation." Seto added. "Private telepathic conversations cannot be breached by someone who wasn't originally part of it...."
"But...don't you still have that bracelet on, too?" Sky added.
I pulled up the arm of my cloak to reveal the bracelet, still glowing that purple color.
Seto frowned. "Something strange is going on here. Sky, you never showed any signs of your father until you turned 20, correct?"
Sky shook his head. "Besides my eyes, no. I had no powers of any kind. It...kinda came all at once."
"Then...how is Y/N slowly gaining some of those powers? I mean, weapon summoning and breaching of telepathy, as well as these powers showing whilst the bracelet is on? That's...." He trailed off.
I pulled my sleeve back down. "I'm...really confused right now."
"I think we all are, Y/N." Samuel sighed.
Seto looked to me with slightly concerned eyes. "Y/N, could you...stick around for a while? You too, S/N. I...I need to go to the library. There might be something of use that could tell us about what is happening."
Samuel held up his hands. "Woah, woah, woah. Hold up. Not even half a day ago you were prepared to kill her if necessary, and now you want her to stick around? Candid and B/F/N are already bothered by you being here in general, Y/N. Staying here longer is not going to help, especially if they don't know why you've been gone so long."
I shrugged. "Ok then. Samuel, go ahead and take Flicka and Genny back to the base and let them know what's going on up here."
Samuel facepalmed. "Y/N! That's not...!" He sighed. "There's no arguing this, is there...?"
Sky gave a small smirk. "Yeah, there's one way we're related. Stubborn as all get out. Would it help that I give my word that no harm will come to her?"
"...unless I start becoming a threat because of my panic attacks." I added quietly.
Sky frowned. "I think we can handle those, Y/N. Your powers may be starting to show, but that doesn't me we can't protect you and ourselves from them."
Samuel looked around at us with a sorta-frustrated face. "Can you at least take the bracelet thing off her? It's...unsettling to me to know that is even there when she's hardly a threat as it is...."
I looked at Sky and Seto as they glanced at each other. "I mean...I...don't particularly see a problem with that...." Sky answered hesitantly.
Seto came up to me and pulled up my sleeve, revealing the bracelet once more. He muttered under his breath as he messed with the bracelet. It popped off easily and he backed away with the bracelet in hand.
I instinctively rubbed the skin that had been under the bracelet. I half-expected something to happen, but nothing did, thankfully(?).
Seto closed his eyes and mumbled under his breath for a minute. He opened them again with a sigh. "The rest of the team knows to not attack you should they see you, though they should continue to be cautious in case...something should happen with you. AKA those panic attack things. Don't worry, though, as Sky will be with you the whole time so no one gets confused."
"I will?" Sky asked, confused. Seto shot him a look, and Sky restated quickly, "I-I mean, yeah, I will!"
I scoffed lightly with a small grin on my face. "Whatever makes you guys comfortable."
I looked at Samuel, who seemed to be emotionless. But, despite his best efforts, I could sense his anxiety. "Samuel, don't worry. I have a bit of combat knowledge thanks to Candid, so I can protect myself if need be."
He gave me a look. "I'm not worried at all...?"
I scoffed. "Samuel, I can read people pretty well. Plus, I'm the leader of the N/A army. However minuscule, I can still feel what my N/F feel to an extent, and I'm getting an anxious vibe from you."
He sighed. "Well, you're not wrong.... I mean, can you blame me? We literally JUST got our leader back only for her to go out several times within the span of a half-day----"
"Wait a sec." Sky interrupted. "Speaking of day, has anyone else noticed that it hasn't been nighttime for a while? I mean, it's been, like, 13 or so hours since Y/N got around here, right? Shouldn't it be nighttime or something?"
Seto frowned. "Yeah...? I dunno, maybe Notch wants us to have daylight when we need it?"
"That's extremely confusing, but ok. Anyways, worry. Yeah, you're our leader, and then you're gonna go psycho. I'd rather you not be in the belly of the beast when that happens...."
"Samuel, I've been in the belly of the beast since I was born. I just hadn't realized until things started going wrong."
Seto bit his lip. "Well, if you're ready, Samuel, I can teleport you to the Sky army stables to get your horses."
Samuel looked at me once more. "Try to not get yourself into trouble, ok?"
I scoffed. "I can try, but that doesn't exactly mean it'll work."
Samuel walked next to Seto and Seto touched his shoulder. "Be careful, Y/N."
And then they were gone.
