It had been a few moons and leaf bare had ended, it was green leaf and I enjoyed the warm breeze. HollyWhisp was expecting my kits and Thislestar had died, I was now Shatteredstar. I looked over my clan with interest, I had long forgotten the prophecy. I had started hurting innocent cats and I had killed Scarletclaw 5 moons after she had her kits, I said she had died from rouges and I had been lucky no cat noticed my scratches. HollyWhisp had grown weary of me and I knew she was learning, I could never kill my mate no matter what even if she tried to kill me. I sighed as she padded in, she sat next to me purring.
"Deathkit and Badgerkit are old enough to become apprentices my love," she purred, I nodded and jumped onto high rock.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around to hear my words, we have two new apprentices with us today, Deathkit from this moment on until you have earned your warrior name you shall be known as Deathpaw, Hollywing will be your mentor, Badgerkit from this moment on until you have earned your warrior name you shall be known as Badgerpaw, your mentor shall be Petalvenom," I said, the clan cheered and I jumped down.
"I can't wait until our kits are born," HollyWhisp said purring.
"Me either, Swiftflight, Oakpelt come now!" I yowled, they followed me out of camp. We arrived at the training hollow, they gave me confused glanses.
"Why are we here?" Oakpelt asked.
"Who ever wins the battle will be deputy, the first cat to kill the other will be named deputy," I said, the broke into a fight and soon Oakpelt had taken Swiftflights life, I smirked and killed him.
"Y-you said I c-could be deputy," he choked.
"Never trust me didn't you learn anything," I smirked as his soul faded.
