"Do you trust me?" Loki asked me when we were alone and away from everyone and action.

"You know the answer to that already bro." I said raising an eyebrow.

Loki rolled his eyes, "What I mean is that I have a plan." Loki said serious.

"No you just decided to drag me down this empty hallway to just chat about the weather." I said rolling my eyes.

Loki just sighed, "I have taught you too well." he said practically dramatically and I just smirked in response.

"So what's this big secret plan?" I asked leaning against the wall.

"We both know Thor is not ready to take the throne." Loki said serious getting back on topic.

"Well duh. The guy just wants to fight, fight, fight. He also doesn't take our advice to much and listens to his friends rather than his brothers, adopted or not. I'm just happy that Hogun and Sif keep him out of trouble, for the most part anyway." I puffed. Living with Thor for centuries is a lot harder than you may think.

Loki nodded knowing what I was saying was true, "I need to make sure that I have your back for what I'm about to do." Loki said and I looked into his eyes and say that he desperately needed to have someone have his back.

I smiled acting as if I hadn't caught the look and clapped my older brother's shoulder, "I have your back through the Void and back." I said smiling encouragingly.

Loki looked at a small watch that I gave him from Midgard from when we visited with Poseidon once. He saw the small golden pocket watch and we both saw Norse writing on it (How they had it I have no idea) and it came with a match which I have.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"If my calculations are correct, and they normally are, Thor just escaped from the hospital he was put in." Loki said and just as he hid the watch one of the people who work here went down the hallway.

"S-sorry my lords." The kid, because that was what he was (he probably also recently got the job if he was calling Loki a lord, most people just freeze and then run away).

"It's alright." I said with a sincere and kind smile to the kid, "What's up?" I asked

The kid looked momentarily confused at my speaking (Midgard speak is different than Asgard) but he seemed to have pushed it aside and turned to Loki.

Seeming to be more brave than a few seconds ago and calmer he said, "The Allfather wants to see Loki." he said and at our nods he went on his way to do whatever job he was assigned.

"Newbie?" I asked watching the kid walk away.

"If you don't know the answer to that then you still have a lot to learn brother." Loki said rolling his eye, "I must go however, I'll let you know the plan when I return." Loki said and walked swiftly away and like a snake.

"Show off." I shouted after him and just knew he was smiling in amusement. Rolling my eyes I went the opposite way to find the Warrior Three and Sif.

I met up with Loki after his little chat with Odin as I was also annoyed with the Warrior Three and Sif. They asked me to see about talking to the Alfather about bring Thor back but did they ever see how much he actually needed to be taught a lesson?

Sure it might've been a bit much to go as far as to banish him and Odin sure isn't the father of the year but that didn't mean what he said about Thor being  not ready for the throne was wrong.

I walked into Loki's room and he was pacing and looked worried and stressed. That wasn't what caught my attention however, it was the fact that he was blue.

I took a moment to digest this and closed the door quietly before leaning against them and calmly saying, "You know you pull off being blue very well." I said

I raised an eyebrow when he faced toward me and instead of his emerald green eye they were burgundy red.

Loki instantly looked away and I knew what the whole color scheme meant but it's not like I really cared. He was still Loki my brother.

"I am not Odin's son." Loki said sitting on his bed and looked devastated.

"Doesn't matter." I said waving my hand as a point.

Loki was silent and staring at the ground but I have known for a long time and sat next to him. A beat of silence then, "I am the monster that scare children." Loki said his voice becoming soft and I knew he wasn't exactly focused on the conversation.

Grabbing Loki's shoulder and making him look me in the eye I stubbornly said, "Just because you have Frost Giant blood doesn't make you a monster. You remember Tyson right?" I asked and at Loki's nod continued, "Is he a monster?"

That earned a scoff from Loki who remembered my half-brother Tyson on Midgard, "Then how are you a monster when he isn't?" I demanded slightly.

"But-" Loki started but I didn't let him finish.

"Just because you have Frost Giant blood doesn't mean you are part of their stupid family. Family isn't about blood it's about the bond you have. It's why we are brothers even when we share no blood." I said trying to make Loki see it.

Loki was staring at his hands and I noticed that he was making them blue once more. Calmly I took one of my hands and placed it over his arm that was starting to become blue as well, "It doesn't matter what blood you have, you're still my big brother." I said softly.

"The Allfather has gone into Odinsleep." Loki said softly. Well it accounted for the other part of stress that he still had.

"I'm sure that everything will be okay." I said calmly.

"They will not like that I am going to be the king until either Thor returns or Odin has awoken." Loki said his voice soft but I knew that he was sad that the people didn't see him as an equal and only think of him by his title.

"Until then I'm by your side through thick and thin." I said stubbornly crossing my arms for effect.

Loki's soft smile was worth it and I knew I eased his worries. For now anyway, "I believe we have a kingdom to run." I said softly.

Loki nodded and we both got up. I knew a bit about running a kingdom because of the visits I made to Midgard to spend with my real father and Triton always gave me pointers so I knew that if Loki had any trouble I would be right there beside to help him out.
