Chapter 18- Girl With the Grey Eyes

"You can't be serious?" I asked my face blank of emotions as I stared down my father, "You can't be serious? You're sending me to Camp Half-Blood. Me? A guy who has lived with Norse gods for his entire life since he was 5 and you want me to go to Camp Half-Blood filled with Greeks who as far as I know, think all gods are moody assholes?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes." Poseidon said nodding serious, "it would be good for you to learn and hang out with some Greeks."

"You're just sending me there so when Odin comes asking where I am you'll say at a Greek camp and he'll leave both me and you alone?" I said not impressed crossing my arms.

"Basically. Oh, and Loki is going with you." Dad said and I threw my hands up.

"Of course a Norse God of Mischief at a Greek camp filled with children of Apollo and Hermes. What could go wrong?" I asked exasperated.

"You're not going to go unless Loki tags along?" Trition said off to the side as he leaned against the wall.

"Come on bro! You're suppose to be on my side not dads." I whined annoyed with my family.

Trition shrugged not caring but I knew that he didn't like this plan anymore than I do.

"This is the end of the discussion?" Dad said serious before he cracked a smile, "I have already handled the details with Chiron."

Instantly I perked up at the mention of the great centaur, "Chiron's going to be there?" I asked excited always wanting to meet the man...er horseman who trained all the great heros (those that weren't Hercules that is).

Dad nodded with a smile knowing that he won me over. I let out a defeated sigh and heavily got up from the seat, "i'll go pack, which cabin is Loki and I staying in?" I asked wanting to double check.

Dad just raised an unimpressed eyebrow, "Mine of course?" he said with a shrug, "now go say goodbye to Amphitrite, you know how she is when you don't say goodbye." all three of us shuddered remembering the last time one of us left without telling Amphitrite.

"You married a scary, scary women." I said serious and dad nodded and then shooed me out of the room.

As I entered my room in the underwater palace I found Loki upside down on my bed reading a book/ Snatching the book out of his hands I closed it and threw it onto his bed, "You know you have your own bed for a reason?" I asked with a raised eyebrow and drew out a duffle bag from under my bed.

"Where's the fun in that?" Loki asked resting his hands on his stomach not moving an inch. That was until I pushed him off the bed, "I need to room." was the only answer I gave him when he indignity yelled at me.

Loki huffed and got off the floor and rubbed the back of his head that hit the ground, "That hurt you know." Loki said huffing again.

"No it doesn't. Are you all packed?" I asked and zipped up the duffle bag.

"Please, I've been packed since yesterday. Are you all packed?" Loki asked with an unimpressed eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes at him and to show him that I was I hefted the duffle on my shoulder and with only raising an eyebrow I vapor traveled toward long Island New York.

It didn't take long before I was just outside the camp. Loki was leaning against one of the trees just outside of the border looking unimpressed.

Rolling my eyes I shouldered the bag more and started walking toward Thalia's Pine Tree (Why it was called that when the girl was saved I have no idea).

I saw a golden dragon wrapped around the tree with a golden fleece underneath it. I smiled as I remembered Loki and I watching their journey and when things might've seen down helped them out just the littlest of bit.

we walked in with little to no problem and was thankful when we saw Chiron near the tree with no campers around him.

We approached him soon enough and I extended my hand for him to shake, "It is an honor to meet you." I breathed smiling brightly.

Loki also smiled at the centaur excited to finally meet him also, "It is my pleasure as well Lord Perseus, Lord Loki." Chiron said bowing.

"Don't bow." I said almost pleading with a pout as Loki laughed. Chiron stood back up with a curious eyebrow and a small frown.

"He doesn't like people bowing to him and neither do I. We are all equals and you are the one inviting us into your camp." Loki filed Chiron in as my pout disappeared into a smile again.

"The campers are at the pavilion having lunch. I assume you want to be introduced to them?" Chiron asked

I frowned and thought about it. Loki and I turned toward each other and started to have a small mental talk that lasted only for a few seconds before I nodded in Chiron's direction.

He smiled and didn't seem to really notice the conversation as he turned and started to walk toward the area where the pavilion was. I made sure to stay on his side and not behind him (I don't trust the backside as much as the side).

Loki seemed to have the same idea because he walked next to me and soon enough we heard children talking and shouting over one another.

Before I even knew it or could back out Chiron was stomping his hoof into the ground getting everyone's attention.

"Lord Poseidon sent his child Perseus and his adoptive brother Loki here to learn about the lifestyle of Greeks. Welcome Perseus Odinson God of Rivers, Lakes, and Loyalty. Welcome Loki Odinson God of Mischief." Chiron said and everyone started to bow.

That's when my eyes locked on with the girl I met while fighting the aliens. The girl with the grey eyes.

My breath was taken away as we stared at one another.
