IMPORTANT!

Stumbling when we finally reached New York I glared at Loki for the unexpected teleport. He was just smirking at me and I rolled my eyes at him.

I would've started a verbal fight if not for the alien that tried to take my head off with a blue plasma blast, "Dude! Uncool." I said using an exploded fire hydrant to push the alien away with water.

He just sort of yelled at me in response and suddenly I had a group of aliens surrounding Loki and I, "For old times sake?" I asked summoning Anaklusmos.

"I don't see the problem." Loki said shrugging getting out his weapon.

"Are we keeping track?" I asked as we went back to back.

Without even looking I knew Loki was smirking, "You know it." he said and at the moment we broke off and fought our way through the aliens.

They really didn't last long, the ones who weren't knocked out ran away toward the whale (which Thor was destroying with the Hulk who showed up to the party on time).

Having a small break I looked up toward the contraption that summoned the portal, "we should probably close that." I said

Loki took a moment and kicked away an alien also looking up at Stark Towers, more Destroyed Tower really with all the damage the aliens have done.

"Probably." he agreed.

"Should we?" I asked looking at Loki and without even bothering to look waved my hand in the general direction of an alien who was soon gone because of the water I flicked at him.

"Probably." Loki said and without looking made a spell to knock out the alien coming from behind him.

"Race you?" I asked

"You know it." Loki agreed and then disappeared.

"That's cheating!" I said to thin air and grumbled as I gathered water particles and was soon standing on the top of stark Tower feeling the wind in my air.

Instantly I backed away from the edge and tried my best not to look down and told Zeus that I wouldn't be this high for too long.

I couldn't tell whether the lightning was from Thor or Zeus. I didn't take a chance as we examined the machine.

With the help of Doctor Selvig we found that Loki's scepter that he was previously mind controlled with would work to stop the contraption from working and therefore close the portal.

"Only problem, no idea where the staff is." Loki said with a shrug.

Rolling my eyes at my brother for the first time since we started battling aliens I held up my hand to my ear where I managed to grab an earpiece, "This is Percy to team, yeah we could use Loki's scepter right about now. According to Selvig, it'll close the portal." I said feeling just a bit stupid talking to midair.

"Roger that." Rogers said.

Letting that joke to talk for itself, and pushing it aside for later joking manners, "They're working on it." I said to Loki this time with a shrug.

"What do we do now?" Loki asked tilting his head looking very similar to a pouting child.

"What number are you at?" I asked completely ignoring Selvig.

"354." Loki said smugly.

"We're going back down to fight aliens because I'm at 350, and I plan on winning this brother so don't get any ideas." I said with a smirk and without saying we teleported back down in time to watch the Black Widow hop of one of the alien flying machines with the scepter.

"They found it." I said absently as I covered Rogers with my sword and powers.

"Nah, I just somehow missed the way The Black Widow jumped onto an alien vehicle with a pointed spear. Oh silly me, that's what we call scepter." Loki said rolling his eyes.

"Take the sarcasm down a level there Spock." I said smirking.

Captain America branched off toward a train station where aliens started to break in and scare the people that were still in there, "I swear, aliens have no respect for transportation." I huffed.

we were still fighting the wave of aliens that were surrounding us and an alien got the drop on me when a girl with blonde hair that was pulled back, took her own knife and slashed at the alien making him back off.

"Thanks kid." I said even though she was probably 15 possible 15 at best.

She scowled at me, her grey eyes (which I knew were Athena's) seemed to flair in annoyance, "I'm not a kid." she said annoyed with me as we went back to back.

"To me you are." I said cheekily as I covered her back.

Changing the ages just a bit, Luke is 2 years older than Annabeth and Thalia is 1 year older but a huntress

"Annabeth you good?" A male voice rang out with blond hair and the grin I knew from Hermes, "Fine Luke." Annabeth shouted to him.

"We should get going." A girl with punk clothing that was silver (Artemis seemed to be recruiting again) and static black hair (Zeus's daughter possibly?)

"Thanks Thalia!" Annabeth shouted, "See you later." Annabeth said

"Possible." I said earnestly as I remembered the names to the faces.

"Meet new friends?" Loki asked when he saw the three kids branch off.

"Something that I'm rather good at, and you aren't." I said smirking

Before Loki could retort Iron Man came over the line, "We got a nuke inbound that the lovely government sent us, keep the portal open a bit longer. Got to get rid of this bad baby and I know the perfect way." 

"Affirmative." Black Widow's voice came back.

We both watched as Iron Man came into view with a rocket like (let's be honest it really was a nuke) and started his way up.

"At his angle and descent, if he goes into the portal. there's a chance he might not make it back." Loki said serious, our game long forgotten.

"Spell time?" I asked serious and pushed aliens back.

Loki nodded and we clasped hands that were tattooed with the loyalty symbol and started to enchant. A globe surrounded us to keep the aliens out as we focused on the situation above us.

We felt Iron Man disappear into the portal and reached out toward his slowly descending body. Using the spells we knew, we made Iron Man's body fall faster and just make it back into this world.

Once we knew he was safe we let out a loose breath because it takes a lot of energy when you go from one part of the galaxy to another (stupid spells don't work through portals).

I closed my eyes as a wave of dizziness threatened to make me fall. I felt Loki's hands supporting me, "Should we go?" I asked opening my eyes and narrowed them at how suddeningly the light blasted at my eyes.

"You don't want to say goodbye to the Avengers?" Loki asked curiously.

"Do we really want to take the chance that they might arrest you?" I asked

Loki's face softened, "Where do you want to go?" Loki asked as we both took in the scene of the Avengers around an awakening Tony.

"Let's go to dad and his underwater palace." I said missing my home just a bit and figuring Loki would like somewhere before we head back to Asgard.

Loki seemed to know this and smiled at me. Without telling the Avengers and only leaving a note that we knew Thor would find, we disappeared but this time, we only left a trail of sea-water to alert Thor where we were going.
