It wasn't long before Thor's friends barged into the throne room where Loki was sitting. Throughout the whole conversation I could feel what they were about to do.

When alone and Loki threw his helmet off the side with a scrowl I leaned against his bedroom wall and calmly started to conversation, "You know they're going to go to Midgard and try and bring Thor back right?" I asked raising a eyebrow

Loki sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "I was hoping they would stay out of this for a bit longer." Loki sighed again.

"Thor isn't going to grow up if they keep treating how he acts is okay for a future king." I said also annoyed with Thor's friend.

I appreciate their loyalty to Thor but there is a boundary between loyalty and doing what is right. Loki looked at the watch once more.

"I have to go have a chat with our dear brother. I hope he forgives us for what is to come." Loki said with a sigh and I could tell that the pit I feel in my stomach Loki also feels.

"Go visit Allfather first." I said putting my hand on his shoulder. Loki looked a bit torn but I could tell that he was going to visit, maybe get some more answers that mother might have.

Just before I was about to leave Loki softly said, "Go prepare The Destroyer." his voice was silent but what he planned zoomed into my head making the pit in my stomach larger.

We weren't planning on killing Thor, far from it, but the idea to use The Destroyer. My title was pulling me two different ways but I knew what had to be done even if I didn't like it.

"I'll see to it." I said my voice soft but there was almost a stutter, I didn't like this plan but that didn't mean that Thor didn't need this.

Once out of Loki's room I put a hand against my forehead thoroughly hating this plan. But I knew what Loki was doing and I couldn't stop it because it needed to be done.

It's basically the only hope Asgard has if we want a future king who doesn't destroy the kingdom in his tirant of blood.

Taking a breath, I started toward Heimdall instead of The Destroyer. He needed to be informed of what is to come and I could really use his input.

Taking to Heimdall is always a mind boggle. He informed me how Thor was doing when I just stepped into the area.

"Do you know what Loki and I are planning to do?" I asked Heimdall steeling my nerves, it all basically came down to reither Heimdall was willing to do it for Asgard.

"I have seen Asgard for the future it may have become had Thor not become banished. There are things that even I cannot see but what I do see is a better kingdom with Thor at the throne. I know what is to come and if I want the future kingdom I want I will not stop you. Just know, I do not see where you and Loki play apart in this kingdom for it is blurred from my sight." Heimdall said

Swallowing the sudden lump in my throat I thanked Heimdall and bowed to him in respect and made my way toward The Destroyer afraid of what is to come. The thought of the better kingdom driving me to do this now.

Activating The Destroyer wasn't as hard as it might seem, only the royal family can do it, and just programming it wasn't that hard.

However, it's only the king that can program it directly so just making sure it was ready and had a way to Midgard was the best I could do.

Heading back to find Loki I found him looking like he was about to go off and talk to Thor, "What about his hammer?" I asked just before he was going to use magic and go to Midgard.

"What about it?" Loki asked confused.

"Midgardians are there trying to pick it up and then there's the government that's already there. You know what Odin said-"

"You're afraid that someone may actually be able to pick it up?" Loki finished my thought.

Nodding I watched Loki seeming to make a plan, "I shall see if I can pick it up, if I can't I will put an enchantment on it so that when the time is right only Thor will be able to pick it up."

"And the government officials? How will you get by them?" I asked. Loki raised his eyebrow and I momentarily remembered that we had magic, "Right..." I trailed off.

Looking amused Loki vanished and I took out my watch and waited. It didn't take long but when Loki returned I could tell he hated every second of it.

"The enchantment is in place. Is The Destroyer ready?" Loki asked frowning

"The king, you, need to actually give the orders but I know you have another plan going on revolving your Frost Giant heritage. Mind filling me in?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

Loki frowned and lead my back to my quarters and spilled. He told me his plan and while I didn't exactly like it and how close it was coming I could see that Loki needed this.

Needed revenge of sorts and his true father was going to pay. Nodding to signal that I was okay but not entirely happy with it Loki's shoulders relaxed.

"Thank you brother." Loki said softly and placed a hand on my shoulder, "I will program The Destroyer when I get back from Jotunheim. In the place I give you partial kingship. Now, I request you go and see about getting The Destroyer ready."

Just before Loki could leave I caught his arm, "Heimdall couldn't see where we are after this because it's hidden from him. Just know that no matter what happens I will always be by your side and if I'm not then I will find you and I will be." I said stubbornly.

Loki's smile was tight but I could see that it wasn't faked or anything, "Brothers till the end." Loki said and just to indulge my Midgardian side he held out his fist.

Laughing we fist bumped and I allowed Loki to go what he needs in order to get past his true heritage. Smiling a bit I took one last look around the room I grew up in and then made my way through the palace to The Destroyer once more.
