Red's P.O.V

I can't believe I agreed to helping this dimwit. She kept looking everywhere like she'd never seen a damn wolf before! That runt was going to get torn to pieces here if she didn't watch her step. My pack always had each other's back. We never helped outsiders.

"So where am I staying at?" Encre asked.

"You're going to bunk with one of the lower class female Omega's." I told her dimly.

The female I was talking about was a young girl named frisk. We usually don't tolerate omega's but somehow we've grown found of her and her brightness that we all couldn't resist....even if it wasn't like that before.

I shook the memory of what happened to frisk before I could show my emotions. 

She was only a pup when she was found and greatly neglected by her previous pack, and for that they tried throwing her off a cliff near one of the lakes, but instead of drowning she washed up on the shore of the lake where I found her and nursed her back to health.

She was an outsider and outsiders don't get treated to kindly here.

My pack only agreed to help because of what Asgore did with his men. His men came marching down to these parts of the woods as a drill of courage because there were stories of vulgar creatures at this part. Monsters they called us. And we showed them what monsters truly acted like...but with a price.

"Your crying." Encre suddenly said.

My fingers touched below my eye and sure enough I was crying. I wiped my eyes off and huffed, "Must be the weather."

Encre didn't buy it, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!" I snapped.

For once she was smart enough to keep her mouth shut.

Stupid runt.

She wouldn't understand it. Nobody would understand. Not even my pack would understand.     

Asgore's men killed my brother. He was the previous Alpha of this pack since he was the oldest but when they killed him that responsibility was thrown on me. I was being attacked by more than one men and greatly outnumbered. I couldn't keep up and when I felt that piercing sharp blade stab through my shoulder blade I thought I was done for. I thought I was going to die. Most of the pack members were wounded but continued to fight as they were trained. But the members weren't soldiers, they were family.

I could remember the smell of the sticky, hot blood from all over the place, shouts, cries, and screams. I saw the sword get raised to strike me again but as it was coming down my brother dove in the way of me. The sword slid through him to the hilt and I saw the silvery tip of the blade come out his back. I was in so much shock. The sight was just too unreal.

But the last thing my brother told me was, "Never stop fighting."

And then the sword slid out of him and my brother crumbled to the bloody ground. The sword was gleaming the blood of Papyrus' blood. 

Boss....

I kept my shoulders straight and stood tall as I walked through the pack. I lead Encre to the far end of the huts until we reached the smaller hut. Frisk's hut.

"It's so small." Encre observed but she didn't sound like she was complaining.

"It is." I stated a bit too bluntly.

"Who's is it?" She asked.

"A young female wolf named Frisk." I told her and turned away from her.

"Where is she?"

I didn't look back at Encre as I began to walk away, "She's being taught how to fight in the barracks."

"Thank you." Encre said quietly.

I froze a bit shocked at what she said, "Why are you thanking me you rat?" I asked sternly and probably sounded a bit harsh.

"You helped me when you didn't have to." 

I went to turn back around but I stopped myself and instead planned on meeting with my beta.

I can't get close to Encre.

I had no plan to let Encre get close enough to me to know the demons that still hide inside me. Nobody knew....except Frisk. And I'm going to keep it that way and hope that she doesn't give me away to this outsider.

And now, helping Encre, I hope in the end Asgore can be taken down so I can watch as he falls off his throne and taken off this Earth because a monster like him, a true monster, doesn't deserve to be living.

My brother didn't deserve to die.

By the way, sorry for the short chapters but I'm trying to do 2 Scholarships on top of test, homework, and other things that are just crammed. But I will use my spare time for you guys ^-^ I just want you all to understand why my updates have been slow.
