Gray Card

You didn't even know what made you like this gray haired male who practically irritated everyone around him

"Hey idiot!"

'Speak of the devil and he shall come huh...' You grit your teeth once you felt your body get slammed to the lockers

'Damn it, the bruises from the other day haven't healed yet.'

"Hah! What a piece of useless shit!" With a swift kick to your stomach, he laughed and left you there

'Maybe I can at least tell him my feelings and ask him to stop'

The next day you waited in front of your locker with a plain gray card in hand. As soon as he walked near you, someone of them decided to grab the card and ran off to the gym

"W-wait! Please give it back!" You chased after the male, followed by a Haizaki who looked like he didn't give two shits

"Oh!" The guy stopped in the middle of the gym and cleared his throat

"Dear Haizaki-" Your eyes widened and put your hands on your ears to block out the voice as he read it in a mocking feminine tone.

When he finished he was chuckling, Haizaki walked in front of you and stared down with a glare

"I don't like useless pieces of shit like you. You ain't even worth my time. You're just a stupid, crybaby, unwanted kid. Everyone hates you like how I do" He stood back up and laughed as he turned his back on you

Your hands dropped to your sides as tears gathered in your eyes

"I...see..." You lowered your head and walked out of the gym quietly

"Haizaki, wasn't that a little harsh?"

"Nah, she deserved it"

Shortly after that, classes started. Your friends exchanged worried glances as your eyes became dull and it was clear that you were unfocused about everything. So before the day ends, they decided that it would be best to talk to you

"(F/n)-san?" The brown haired girl frowned as you simply walked past her to get to your seat

"If Haizaki did this he's going to pay" Luxe popped his knuckles earning a slap from his twin

"Relax... don't go beating him up physically. We can start by destroying him emotionally and mentally" Lux suggested earning a blank look from the male

"That's worse"

"....what you suggested is worse"

"Alright you two, that's enough" You gave them a small smile

"I'm alright, thanks for your concern" You reassured them. Still doubting it they decided to come up with a plan

"Let's go to our favorite cafe" Luxe suggested

"You can't say no." Lux added making you shake your head, but in the end you agreed

-after classes at the cafe-

"...So happy" Lux quietly sipped her milkshake as you walked out of the cafe after ordering

"Hey (F/n)? Will you be alright going home alone?" Luxe asked, your blank eyes staring at pure nothingness as you nodded while sipping (f/d)

"...Please be careful" Lux and her twin stopped as you went the other way. The twins blankly looked at each other and immediately followed you from behind since they were worried

Your mind was blank, you couldn't feel, you can't don't even know where you're going.

The only thing still keeping you from crying was the taste of (f/d)

You slowly walked to nowhere, while being lost on the thought of nothing once again. On the other side of the road, the gray haired male and his friends were joking around when they noticed the (h/c) haired female.

"Hey Haizaki, isn't that the girl that likes you?"

"Oh yeah! Why don't you call out to her?" Then they all laughed, but Haizaki stopped laughing when he noticed something strange.

He and his friends had stopped walking as they reached the red light on the street. Meanwhile there you were, staring at thin air and the light was green for the traffic to move

'The traffic?'

"Hey you idiot! Can't you see that the signal is-"

"(F/N)-SAN!"

You managed to lift your head and stare at him, but as you turned your head to the side, you were gone.

His eyes widened. He didn't know what happened. All he saw was a flash of green and red. The sound of tires screeching, and the metallic smell of blood.

The twins cradling a body and tears streaming down their mismatched orbs

One Year Later

A man stood inside of a familiar gym. He glanced around the place in curiosity

"Hello? Is anyone here?" He walked a few steps before turning around once he heard laughter. His eyes widened as he watched the scene unfold in front of him

"Dear Haizaki-" Your eyes widened and put your hands on your ears to block out the voice as he read it in a mocking feminine tone.

'Stop!'

When he finished he was chuckling, Haizaki walked in front of you and stared down with a glare

Haizaki clenched his fist and turned to his friend

"You're right, that was a little too harsh. I'll go apologize" Haizaki immediately ran off earning a few confused looks from his friends

Soon after he got what he needed he immediately ran to you

"(F/n)! Wait!" He ran and grabbed your hand. Then he paused to catch his breath. He then took a deep breath and handed you two different flowers

"I... I know I was harsh and all... but.. please accept these" Haizaki mumbled, you smiled and took the flowers from his hand

" A purple hyacinth.... means 'I'm sorry'.... and a red rose... meaning 'I love you'" Haizaki looked away, embarrassed that you found out the meanings that fast

"I also... kept the card... I didn't throw it away" Haizaki mumbled making you chuckle

"Thank you Haizaki... This means a lot..." You trailed off as you gently looked at the flowers, they locked your (e/c) eyes on his grey ones. The background starts to fade as you walked closer to the male

"I'm really.. happy" You wrapped your arms around him as small parts of you started to fade

"W-What?" His eyes widened as tears ran down his face, he wrapped his arms around you tightly and cried his heart out

"No! This isn't real! No! No! Don't you dare leave me!" He cried, you pulled back and cupped his cheeks with a gentle smile on your face

"I'm sorry Haizaki..." Once you placed your lips on his forehead everything vanished

"NO!" His eyes snapped open and scanned his surroundings

"A meadow?..." he stood up and stared at the tombstone beside him
