After the shower, Marinette headed toward the dining room. But, unfortunately for her, she passed the basement door. Memories of the deaths that happened in there come rushing back as a flood. She felt as though heavy chains had been put on her heart and pulled to the point it shattered. Tears welding up in her eyes, she went to the dining room and ate. As she ate, she remembered what her parents asked of her.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng!! You listen to me young lady. I don't care if I die. I really don't. But you do me a favor. As soon as you have the chance, you run! You run away from this place. You leave Paris and you go to China.

You know all our account passwords and pins. You'll be able to buy a plane ticket, and leave.

She was so caught up in her thoughts, she didn't hear Chat come into the room.

"Princess?" Marinette jolted and looked at Chat.

"Oh, hey Chat."

"Are you okay? You seemed a bit... out there."

"I was just thinking, Kitty."

"Oh? About what?"

"You~" Marinette lied. If she told him she was thinking about something her parents said, he would want to know.

"Oh really?" Chat smirked and leaned towards her face. "What about me?"

"I was thinking about this." Before Chat could ask what Marinette closed the space between them. She put her hands on his cheeks and kissed him passionately. Chat kissed back and laid her on the table. Chat moved his kiss to Mari's neck and looked for her sweet spot. When he found it, he abused it to no compare. Marinette moaned.

Mari's POV

He found my sweet spot and now he won't stop.

I moan. "Chat~"

This works perfectly with my plan. Maman and Papa taught me things I can use greatly.

Chat stopped. "Sorry, Princess, but I have to search for Ladybug." He made quotation signs when he said, "search". It's cause he already knows I'm Ladybug, but Hawkmoth doesn't. (wink, wink) Chat left and I finished eating. I went in the fridge and got an apple. Then I went to the basement and saw my parents and Alya, covered in dried up blood. I wet a cloth with water and wipe up the blood. My parents and best friend may be dead, but the deserve to at least be clean. I went into Chat's room, which he forgot to lock, and looked around to see if I could find any clue as to how I can purify Chat.

"Tikki? Tikki, are you here??"

"Marinette? Marinette!!" My kwami flew over to me and hugged my cheek. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to see if I could find a way to get the akuma out of Chat."

"Oh. Well, Chat detransforms after an hour of sleep, so I'm able to talk to his kwami, Plagg."

"You've seen him detransformed?? Who is he???"

"I can't tell you. Sorry, but Plagg says the akuma landed in his heart after you rejected him."

"Oh..." I can't believe it! I've never had to purify a heart. And neither has it been someone as close as Chat!! "How do I purify his heart, then?"

Tikki became so sad, so fast. "You have to either kill him..."

"WHAT?!?! I CAN'T KILL HIM!!" There was no way in hell I'd ever kill Chat.

"You didn't let me finish. You can either kill him, or help him fight the akuma."

My god!! This was too much to handle. "Mari, you need to go! Chat will be here soon!! Plagg just told me he was on his way back!!"

"Huh? How did he tell you?"

"We're telepathically connected. Now go!!"

I left Tikki and went to my room. I had a gut feeling Chat would come in here, hoping for sex, so I just laid on my bed looking at the ceiling. Outside the door, I heard a thud. I thought it was something Chat was doing. But, I was worried, because something didn't feel right. Suddenly, my door slammed open, and lo and behold, Hawkmoth was in the doorway.

"H-HawkM-moth" I stuttered

"Hello, Ladybug. I see Chat Blanc has been hiding you here this whole time."

"I-I won't give you my miraculous."

"Come now. Don't make this harder for yourself. Just give me your miraculous and I won't bother you and Chat anymore."

HawkMoth's POV

This foolish girl. I bet she thinks once I have the miraculous, I'll take away the akuma I gave Chat Blanc. HA!! Never!!

"Do we have a deal??" I can see her hesitation.

Mari's POV

 I have to decide!!!

"NEVER!! I won't trust you, Hawkmoth. Even if it means my life!!" Hey, what can I say? I was born to hate evil.

Hawkmoth growled and glared at me, "You'll regret that, you little bitch."

I gasped, "HEY!! I AM NO BITCH, YOU JACKASS!!"

"Grr!!" Hawkmoth took his cane and hit me upside my head, then lights out.

No one's POV

3 hours later

Marinette woke up and found herself chained to a wall, and Chat chained on the opposite wall of her, unconscious. Marinette recognized the room instantly. It was the basement Mari's parents and Alya died.

"So, you're finally awake??" a sinister voice proclaimed. Marinette saw Hawkmoth come out of the shadows. He took his cane and, like with me, hit Chat in the head, waking him up.

"Ugh. Huh? MARI?!" Chat said, "What the hell???"

"Oh quiet, Chat Blanc. I'm just finishing what I trusted you to do." Hawkmoth said abruptly.

Chat's POV

I looked and saw Hawkmoth, with a whip, walk over to Marinette. She was wearing the black shorts and black, sequin cover crop top.

Hawkmoth looked at her delicate skin. "Hmm. It's a shame I have to ruin such perfect skin." he said. Before I could register what he said, he took a few steps back and whipped Marinette.

"AHHHH!!" Her scream echoed through the basement. All he did, was smirk. He raised the whip and brought it down on her again. And she screamed again.

"NOO!! STOP!!" I shouted, but he ignored me and continued whipping her. My Princess.

"I'LL GIVE YOU HER MIRACULOUS!! JUST STOP HURTING HER!!" I shouted.

"C-Chat... don't....please..." Marinette was hurt. I couldn't stand it.

"She had the chance to give it to me when I asked. She refused, so now she must be punished."

"NO!!"

He raised the whip again and the cycle began again. He whips, she screams, repeat. All the while, I was pulling on my chains. Trying, trying to break them. Then I had an idea.

"CATACLYSM!!" I called on my power and the chains turned to ash. "CATACLYSM!" Being akumatized, I had unlimited power. I grabbed the whip and it decayed.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR HURTING MY PRINCESS!!" I punched so hard, it knocked him unconscious. I went over to Marinette, who was covered in lashes and was crying.

"Cataclysm." I destroyed the chains holding her and caught her as her body went to the floor. I hugged her. I hugged her and didn't want to let her go.

"I l-love you, K-Kitty." I heard her say in a whisper. "I'll always love you."

"I love you too, Princess."

No one's POV

The akuma in Chat's heart flew out and Chat's suit and eyes returned to normal.

"Princess. You need to transform."

"Why?" Mari asked. Her eyes were closed.

"So you can purify me akuma."

Mari's eyes opened. She looked at Chat and saw his suit.

"Kitty!!" She threw her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.

"Spots on!" She transformed and purified the akuma.

"Lucky Charm!!" A tube of lipstick landed in her hand. She smirked, put it on and kissed Chat on the forehead, both cheeks, and the lips, leaving Chat a blushing mess. "Miraculous Ladybug!!" There were millions of ladybugs flying around. They went in Paris and fixed whatever Chat destroyed. They went into the basement and healed Mari's parents and Alya, and they surrounded Ladybug and healed the lashes. Marinette detransformed and ran to her parents and friend.

"Mom! Dad! Alya!" Marinette hugged them and cried tears of joy.

"Marinette!!" All three of them cried and hugged her, all 4 of them crying.

While they hugged and cried, Chat took some chains and chained Hawkmoth.

"Marinette, I'm going to take Hawkmoth to the police. Do you wanna take his Miraculous?" Chat asked. All four of them looked at Chat.

"Okay." She took the Miraculous, and it turned out to be some random guy. Chat took him to the police and Marinette led Alya and her parents back to Paris.
