All that surrounded me was light, as I walked forward, more light engulfed me. I was alone in a place surrounded with pure white. It felt peaceful, like nothing could ever affect me no more. This place felt ten times bigger than the size of earth. Even so, I was alone.

The first thought that came to my mind was..

Where was I?

Then it hit me. The final battle royale. I had to go against a duel with Jeon Jungkook. My one and only love. Then comes the following question.

Where is he?

I was drawn to a shining bright light so I decided to follow the trail it lead to. From afar, I could see a tall, well built looking guy. Is that Jungkook? I was unsure since he was facing away from me. I went closer to the figure to get a clearer view.

I was only a couple of steps away, when the figure turned around to reveal the most beautiful face of the love of my life who gleamed with hope the moment he saw me.

"Taehyungie!" He gave me a tight squeeze, "I thought I lost you" he let go to leave a peck on my cheeks.

All I did was stare at him in admiration. My eyes full of love and tenderness. I stroke his right cheek with my thumb which made him purr like a cute little kitten with his eyes shut close, leaning against my touch.

"I'm glad I didn't lose you too, babe" I trailed my finger to his kissable lips and moved forward for a short sweet kiss. As we pull apart, he asked, "Tae? Do you think we are in heaven right now?"

"I think we are, Jungkook"

"Which means we died during the final battle?"

I chuckled and pinch his cheeks, "Come on, silly. We are supernaturals. We can't die. We are probably in the state of unconsciousness"

"Aww then that's too bad" he pouted. "And whys that?" I questioned back.

"Because if we really are in heaven, it means I can spend eternity with you with nothing to worry about. But sadly.. Well nevermind" he looked down to the ground, shuffling his feet.

"Jungkook?" He looked at me. "Yes, baby?"

"Do you want to be normal?"

"Normal as in?"

"To be mortal so we can die"

"If I say yes, would you be willing to sacrifice being a vampire to become human and lead a normal life?"

I stared deep into his eyes and answered, "Anything for you, my love"

Okay so let me explain. Since supernaturals are immortal, the only way for us to die is to become human. As in fully human, with zero vampire blood in our system. The only way to achieve that is to drink a rare elixir which is hidden somewhere in the ancient ruins. There is only one bottle, enough for only two people. Once that is consumed, we will lead normal lives as humans. We can finally a happy family with all the drama cast aside.

With our hands intertwined, Jungkook and I decided to walk around this huge empty space till eventually we saw another figure, this time of an old lady.

She had such a gentle smile on her face. Her brownish hair was long, and she had a sharp chin. For an old lady, she takes care of herself well cause she doesn't have this haggard look at all. I wonder who she is?

"Oh my lovely son, you've grown so big and healthy now" I exchanged confused looks with Jungkook. The old lady made clear eye contact with me. "Oh you're referring to me?" I pointed to myself.

She nodded with her smile never leaving her face. "But... I thought you're dead?"

"No, my son. In fact, right now I'm going to cast a spell to wake you up from this deep slumber together with your umm?"

"Soulmate" I simply replied.

"Yes right, soulmate. Once you awaken, Taehyung. We have a lot to catch up on" she mumbled some witch language which made our head dizzy. "Now wake up, son. Wake up"

We had no idea what process we went through but as soon as our eyes shot open, we saw two figures staring at us. It was pretty blurry since we only got back to life.

"Oh look, Sungoh. Looks like your baby brother finally awaken" was the words that came out from the lady, similar to what we saw previously. So this lady is my mum, huh?

"What about dad?" Sungoh asks the lady or should I call her mum, "Oh don't worry, he'll awaken soon after" and yes her words were right. Dad jolted awake, with a look of shock on his face as he turned to face the older lady.

"Y-you... You're still alive, T? But how.."

The older lady, so far known as T for now stepped closer to dad. She tried to cup his cheeks but dad shoved her hand away, clearly he has so many mixed feelings inside him. I mean who wouldn't? All these while he thinks his wife is dead and suddenly poof, she's staring deep into your eyes as we speak.

"B, I'm sorry. I-I should have find you but I don't know where you are. The only person I can find is our son, Sungoh, since I did attach a protection amulet around his wrist so I can sense where he is. But as for you and-" dad placed his index finger on her lips, "That's enough for now. I'm not ready to talk to you"

Dad slowly stood up and regained his balance, walking away to one corner of the woods to have some alone time. As for me and Jungkook, we still stay rooted to the ground, looking at all the others who was still unconscious.

"Hey umm.. Lady?" I tapped her back. "Please call me mum" she retorted. "No. Not until I listened to everything you had to say to us"

She sighed but nodded in agreement. Sungoh then told me that the lady has helped to undo the binding spell so we are no longer linked no more. That's one damn good news alright.

"So umm lady, do you think you can help resurrect my two other friends?" I pointed to Jimin and Hoseok. She seemed puzzled as to why I never mention the rest. "Then how about the other three?"

I looked at her with a smirk on my face, "Don't you worry about them, we know what to do with their bodies. Don't we, Jungkook?"

Jungkook nodded as approval. Soon Jimin and Hoseok awaken as well.

"Tae! Jungkook! Glad you guys are okay!" Both the hyungs sprinted to us the moment they regained their composure. "Jiminie!" I stood up to give him a tight bro hug.

"So guys, what are we going to do with the original vampires?" I looked to the others, each having a despicable smile on their faces. Nobody spoke a word but clearly, the four of us had the same idea.

"Hey Tae, whose that lady over there?" Jimin asks, observing her since well she does look good for someone way older.

"Would you believe it if I said she's my mother?"

Jimin eyes widen, "Omo, for real?! You've got to be kidding me man" I rolled my eyes to how ridiculous my best friend can be at times but can't blame him either since he's attracted to older ladies.

"Yes for real" I looked at her, still not believing she's my mum. I walked towards dad to check up on him. "Hey dad, feeling better now?"

He had his eyes planted to the ground, "How could she.. How could she lie to me.." He muttered under his breath, totally ignoring my question. Sungoh and my 'mum' approached us.

"B, please forgive me. Please" she went on her knees, begging profusely for forgiveness. "Stop it, don't do that. I never said I didn't believe you. I just need more time to process this thought okay?" With that said, dad zoomed out from this place. But I managed to shout quickly before he went off, "Dad! Make sure you're heading back to my place!" I hope he heard that because I can't bear to lose him again.

As much as I hate to call the old lady my mum just yet, i placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and spoke, "If you're truly who you say you are, then you should be able to sing the lullaby to me"

And she did.

Hush now my baby, be still love don't cry
Sleep as you're rocked by the stream
Sleep and remember my last lullaby
So I'll be with you when you dream

She looked up at me, the same look dad gave me, with tears streaming down her big pearly eyes. I was lost for words. Once again, I had to process the thought that my parents are still alive after so long of being apart.

Jungkook noticed the blank look on my face, "Tae? You okay, baby?" He rubbed my back, trying to soothe me down.

The older lady got up and cupped my cheeks which I surprisingly didn't hesitate to budge. "M-mum?" I managed to mumbled out, a tear almost escaping my eye.

"Yes, I am your mother and you are my precious son, Kim Taehyung" her touch felt so warm and loving, just like a mother's touch to her child. She then looked over at Jungkook and eyed on his necklace.

"Umm mum.. Let me introduce you to Jeon Jungkook, love of my life" she paused for a little before giving Jungkook a short pep talk. "Listen here, little one. Taehyung really loves you since he gave you that necklace. When he was younger, he used to tell me 'Mum, I'm going to give this necklace to the person I want to spend the rest of my life with' so in short, I want to give you both my blessings and please take care of little Tae Tae here"

What could be better than knowing both my parents giving their blessings to us. Jungkook felt shy, a blush becoming obvious on his face as he replied, "Thank you and don't you worry, Tae's mum, I'll gladly take care of him cause I love him too so much" he bowed down as a form of respect and mum answered, "Aww how sweet. Just call me mum from today forward okay?"

"Yes m-mum" he bowed once again. This kid really knows how to respect the elderly. One of the many reasons why I love him.

"Always a happy ending for you two huh?" We turned around to see that Seokjin has regained consciousness but how?

"J-Jin.. How did you?" Jungkook stutter, clearly shocked to see his stepbrother all better when the other two is still lying flat on the ground. "I have my ways. Relax, little brother. I'm not here to harm you. In fact, whatcha think of my acting skills?"

"Huh? Wait a minute.. You mean you were acting it all out?"

"Like duh" he rolled his eyes, "If I hadn't, those two idiots over there can kill all of you in a blink"

"But why, brother?" Jin looked at his younger brother straight in the eye, placing his hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "It's because I switch my humanity back on"

"Meaning you're no longer meanie Jinnie?"

"Hey! Don't call me that! It sounds so girlish"

"Yeah okay, Jinnie" Jungkook teased his older stepbrother again, the rest soon chimed in mimicking the words Jinnie.

Jin groaned, "Whatever. So do you want to burn their bodies or what?"

He looked over at all of us, waiting for an answer.

"No. In fact, we have an even better idea"

Oh yes, our new life chapter begins now.

A/N: Hey guys so this is the start of season 2! I put it together since it's much easier rather than doing another cover. Anyway, It got out earlier than expected right (: but well since I wasn't feeling well to celebrate hari raya, I stayed home to do this!
