chapter thirty-five, episode five
the emergency meeting

               BONNIE was tired. she was laying on the practice mat, she was using her arms as a pillow and she curled herself up to feel less cold.

"get up, bonnie!" she heard her mother shouting at her slamming then door behind her. "eden and you are going to practice again."

eden crouched down to Bonnie's level and softly shook her awake and smiled softly at Bonnie when she opened her eyes and sat up from the floor.

"positions!" bonnie's mom shouted, her voice laced with irritation. eden quickly stood up holding a hand out to Bonnie who smiled at her and took it standing up as well.

"hey, when we're going let's go get ice cream." eden whispered to bonnie who nodded her head and jogged over to the blue "x" that was on the far end of the room, eden going to the other red "x" that was located on the other side of the room.

"shield!" shouted helen.

bonnie obeyed putting up her shield and getting into her fighting position.

"ready!" helen looked over at eden who sighed deeply but nodded her head twirling the daggers around her fingers, "go!"

eden threw a dagger at bonnie who blocked it with her shield but it went straight through her shield. that's what they were working on, projecting the actual protecting of the shield and not just putting it up, something that bonnie had to learn.

helen started shouting nothing but mean words to Bonnie and eden since for her those were words of encouragement but for eden and bonnie it was just more added pressure.

it went up to the point where bonnie started feeling overwhelmed and stressed whenever her mother would shout to her to actually do better and it made eden feel anxious knowing that all the pressure was on them. despite them being only 14 years old.

"do better! don't be pathetic, bonnie! put effort! do it!"

Bonnie's breath quicken as she starting to shake her head and tears whelming up inside of her eyes. she couldn't do it, she just couldn't. when eden threw her last dagger bonnie dropped herself to the floor and curling herself up.

all she heard was a excited gasp and then something falling to the ground. bonnie frowned her eyebrows and lifting her head up the floor, her eyes landed on eden who was on the floor.

"eden!" bonnie cried out, dropping her shield and quickly going over to eden who was hissing in pain and bringing her shaky hand up to the dagger that was right between her chest. "No, no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry eden, eden please!"

eden smiled up at the fourteen year old bonnie who cried out for help but no one was coming. not even her mother who was only a few feet away from them. "bonnie."

"eden please stay with me, I-I can't — please, eden!" bonnie shouted putting her hands on Eden's shoulders and then down to her head putting her head on her lap. "dad can fix you, he can-he can, he's a doctor. eden, no."

"im so proud of you, bonnie." eden whispering shakily and weakly bringing her hand up to Bonnie's cheek, rubbing it. bonnie chocked out a sob shaking her head as she leaned against the palm of her hand.

"eden, please." bonnie sobbed dropping her head down to Eden's stomach. they were only fourteen years old, they had a whole life ahead of them, she could die just yet. not now, not ever.

bonnie felt eden bring her hand up to her red hair and stoke it, taking in a deep breath which she struggled to do. all the blood was running out and she struggling to breath.

then there was silence. nothing more.

"you did it, bonnie."

TO say that everyone felt the way that bonnie was feeling the next day, was a little bit dramatic.

everyone in the room could sense that bonnie wasn't doing good. her along with Penelope were anxious and stressing out over sebastian who was in the room resting. he was losing a lot of blood and they just hope that lila cured him correctly.

but bonnie was let down for other things as well. the memory she had last night was more intense. she hated that she couldn't remember any other memories of eden, she seemed like an important part of her life but why can't she remember her even outside of the practice.

"no, no, no, I don't understand. they keep following me." Diego said to luther.

Bonnie was confused when they arrived back to the store and saw luther with elliott high off their minds but this meant that she was able to annoy him again and maybe even develop their friendship.

"wait, who?" asked luther.

"those dutch sociopaths."

"they're swedish, you idiot." five snapped walking over to Bonnie who was sitting on the table her head dropped to her hands, "hired guns paid to eradicate us before we do any more damage to this timeline."

"yeah, but why now?" Diego asked looking between him and bonnie, feeling worried about Bonnie, "I mean, im — fine for three months until you showed up. like im glad you found Bonnie for me but you just ruined it."

"hey, don't be mean." bonnie said softly lifting her head up and looking over at Diego who was now glaring five.

"yeah, I was here for a year and no one messed with me." luther said cooking scrambled eggs.

"you guys are being mean, you have no idea what he has seen, he's the reason we're still alive. assholes." bonnie snapped standing up from the chair and then walking out of the kitchen ignoring the calls and looks from the three men.

she walked inside of the room where Sebastian was resting. penelope had her hands on top of his and her head was dropped down to the bed. the room was filled with soft cries coming from the mother who hasn't gotten away from her son, not even for one second.

"how is he doing?" bonnie asked pulling your a chair and sitting down next to penelope who lifted her head up and sniffed up her tears shrugging her shoulder weakly.

"he's the same. he sometimes looses his breath and struggles breathing, the wound isn't healing and every minute we have to change the bandage because it fills with blood." penelope whispered and dropped her head down to Bonnie's shoulder sobbing softly. "we're loosing him, bonnie."

"hey, hey, hey, no we're not." bonnie quickly said putting the older womens head away from her shoulder making her face her. "This is sebastian we're talking about. the one and only who forced us to watch all the star wars movie for days and never gave up. the one who got a F on a test and then studied until he gave out and then studied again until he got the A. we're talking about sebastian who never gives us and about the boy who will never leave his mother behind."

at the end of the speech penelope was sobbing back into Bonnie's shoulder, squeezing the hand of his son. her sebastian, her son, her first child was in his death bed and there wasn't anything bonnie could do or penelope.

"guys," five and Diego burst through the door catching the attention of penelope and Bonnie who turned their heads over to their other boys. "uh, family meeting soon."

bonnie frowned her eyebrows and looked at five who sighed deeply. "we're going to get allison, luther is going to get vanya and diego is staying here."

bonnie noticed five glaring at diego who grumbled something underneath his breath and stepped forward. bonnie turned over to penelope who wiped her eyes and nodded her head to Bonnie, "go, I'll be fine."

bonnie stood up and then patted Diego's shoulder, "be here for her." bonnie whispering to diego and then stuck her hand out to five who then teleported them away.

THEY found Allison and Klaus. drunk.

"hello? is anyone here?"

"le petit mort, le petit mort. bon bon oh I missed you!" Klaus said which was the millionth time and wrapped his arm around bonnie who coughed loudly.

"what? you don't speak French." giggled Allison.

"it's "the little death."

Klaus and Allison continued to talk nonsense with each other and giggling like high schools girls looking at everything inside of the store. Bonnie moved away from Klaus and then over to five who was looking up at the balcony.

"oh wow," Klaus breathed out as he also looked up at the balcony, "I know this is impossible, but did we all get sexier?"

bonnie grinned as everyone was ow taking each other in. they were back together after years for some, months for others and days for five the umbrella academy including Bonnie were back together. in the same room.

"Vanya." Allison said her eyes landed on vanya who was smiling widely down at Allison.

"I can't believe I hav a sister." vanya said excitedly running down the stairs and then landed in front of Allison who smiled softly.

"I missed you."

"thank god some did." vanya chuckled softly and bonnie scoffed crossing her arms over her chest. "besides Bonnie." 

bonnie nodded her head and then smiled softly as Allison and vanya brought each other into a hug, the brothers doing the same thing. they chatted with each other for a little longer talking with vanya who was just happy that she had family.

"Klaus, Is Ben here?" five asked klaus who sighed deeply shaking hi head.

"No, unfortunately, ghost can't fine travel." Klaus said and a part of Bonnie knew that Klaus was lying. Klaus then looked between Bonnie and five and then down at their intertwined hands. "hey, when did this happen?"

bonnie shrugged her shoulders and said, "a few chapters ago."

"huh." Klaus said before grinning widely and then looking up at the balcony. "hey, who's that hot babes up there?"

everyone looked up at penelope who was looking down at them wanting to know who else was inside with them. bonnie noticed when diego smiled up at penelope who didn't look so good and quickly headed up to penelope.

"penelope, she's the one who has been taking care of me and she got stuck in our mess." bonnie said smiling up at penelope who was brought into the arms of Diego. "and is maybe showing diego what true love is."

"all right, let's get down to business."
