chapter twenty-five, episode zero
the store

IT has been one year since the end of the world happen and when they escaped and all went separated ways. bonnie was lucky, she found the santiago family and they took her in as one of them.

for the past year Bonnie had been living with them. she got along with Sebastian and Penelope just good, it was almost as if she was the missing person in their family. bonnie was okay, she was fine, she was happy. even though there have been times where Bonnie cries herself to sleep due to the lack of the familiar faces that would go through her head.

Sebastian and Bonnie are only months apart, him being the oldest. it took the two a few months to get along since everytime they were together they would either not talk to bicker with each other non stop. sometimes sebastian took the advantage to insult her in Spanish knowing damn well that Bonnie didn't have a single clue what he was talking. but payback is a bitch since Bonnie learned Spanish just to mess with him.

penelope and bonnie have grown closer with each, it was like bonnie and diego all over again. Penelope talked to her about girl things, bought her her own stuff, bought her more clothes that suits her more and that she feels more comfortable with and at some point bonnie spilled everything about five to Penelope. go say the least Penelope wanted it met him and threaten him before she got to know him.

penelope and sebastian know everything. starting from her being an experiment to the academy to her powers and her family's powers and to why she there instead of 2019. she obviously didn't tell her the events of everything, like the world ending, who's the president and such things like that.

sebastian didn't want her near him for about a week. that week bonnie was having a panic attack in the bathroom and sebastian was begging or her to get out since he really needed to us it. and he burst into the door and he helped her go through the panic attack. that was the first panic attack that bonnie has ever gotten which confused her since she has never gotten one, nor anxiety.

Penelope was taken back by everything but nothing changed between them. in fact penelope said how she knew a few tricks for herself. like martial arts being one of the things she grew up with learning and she owns a few guns for herself, practicing whenever she could.

to say the least everything was going good, nothing was out of place expect her. but she learned to live with the fact that she might ever see her family again and a part of her was okay with it but the other part was isolating away hoping that one day she would see someone again.

"im going out!" bonnie shouted from the doorway swinging side to the side.

"take Sebastian with you!" penelope shouted from the kitchen making both teenagers groan loudly and Penelope smacked her lips. "si no va, tampoco tu vas a ir!"

Bonnie rolled her eyes glancing down at her outfit as she waited for sebastian to get ready. she wore a black/grey/white plaid skirt and a white long sleeve half high collar shirt, paired with white chunky hood heels boots. her hair stayed red but two pieces from the front were hooked onto the side of her head with Bobby pins.

never in a million years did Bonnie think she would be in 60's dressing up like this and at first Bonnie hated the idea of wearing skirts but then she remembered how much she adores the old fashion and she here now, why not live up to it at her fullest?

besides one thing she wasn't going to do was wear makeup. she tried it once, penelope put on some light makeup on her and automatically she hated it. it felt so heavy on her face like as if it was weighing her down.

"sebas hurry!" bonnie shouted going out of the house slamming the door on her way out and she winced knowing that penelope was most likely glaring at the door.

Bonnie walked down the stairs from the front of the house humming to her favorite song. she then felt a arm wrapped around her shoulders making Bonnie swing it away. "get your hands off me!"

"where are we going anyway?" sebastian asked ignoring the way that Bonnie glared at him and pushed it away from her, letting out a laugh.

"we're going into town to buy something." bonnie simply said but sebastian wanted to know what exactly.

"like what?"

"not telling you."

"come on, bonnie!" sebastian groaned before going to stand in front of Bonnie as they were about to enter town. he crossed his arms over his chest and stood there not leaving until bonnie told him. "if you don't tell me im going to tell mom about your late night walks."

"oh I'm so scared." Bonnie sarcastically said pushing past him now entering town. Sebastian groaned loudly from behind her and jogged up to her side. "listen, i want something that i need."

"and do you have the money?"

"can you shut the fuck up for once?" bonnie asked smiling innocently at him. Sebastian scoffed loudly crossing his arms over his chest pushing her out of the sidewalk. bonnie gasped offensively and pushed him back making him bump with a car.

the two bickered back and forth with each other all the way until they reached the shop that was almost at the far end of the town in Dallas, Texas. bonnie grinned entering the shop and Sebastian stayed close to Bonnie glaring at everyone who turned their heads over at them.

"are you planning on killing someone?" sebastian whispered to bonnie reaching over to the back of his waist band. bonnie didn't answer him as she smiled sweetly at the cashier.

"im here to pick up a order for bonnie moore." the man, that was much more taller and stronger than bonnie, grunted loudly standing up from the chair he was sitting on making himself more taller than when he was sitting down. bonnie kept on smiling up at him tilting her head up as he head to tilt his head down.

Sebastian had his back pressed onto Bonnie ready to take his own weapon out to protect them at any moment. the man reached to the top shelf, his eyes staying in Bonnie who started jumping in her spot excitedly smiling as if it was Christmas for her.

the man slid down the receipt for her showing her the amount of money she had to pay. bonnie took out her wallet and immediately the people around her got alerted and took out their weapons. Sebastian was quick to pull out his own gun pointing at everyone that was around them.

bonnie didn't have a single clue on what was going on as her mind was strictly to the package in front of her. the man grunted again taking her money and giving her the change before giving her the brown package. "thank you!" bonnie shrieks grabbing the book and waving at the man.

she didn't see that when her back was turned the man grinned a little never receiving that kind of affection before, he's never even gotten a thank you before. Sebastian frowned his eyebrows at the weird actions of the man who's face quickly fell at the sight of Sebastian.

"come on, Sebastian!" bonnie laughed grabbing his arm and dragging him out of the store, hooking their arms together and starting to skip with the package in her hand. Sebastian wasn't going to skip but he was running for his life trying to follow bonnie.

the entire way home bonnie was in a giddy mood while Sebastian was confused, more than he usually is, looking at the box in her hand and then back at her face. when they arrived home, bonnie told Sebastian to stay at the door as she rounded the corner of the house and placed the box on the bottom of her window before running back over to Sebastian.

Sebastian had already put his gun away since they weren't threaten anymore and took out his keys unlocking the door. "now if Penelope says where we were, say that we were bonding." bonnie whispered to sebastian who started to whisper back to her and bonnie argued back.

"bonnie!" penelope shouted excitedly from the living room as the two entered the living room, their eyes landing right on penelope. "you never told me you had a boyfriend!"

Bonnie's mouth dropped, her face turned confused, her entire body froze automatically thinking of only one person that eligible for that title and he wasn't here right now. Penelope turned her head back over to the couch making bonnie turn her head over to the couch and instead of her face turning relieved it turned to pure anger.

"hi, beautiful."
